No. They are in the portal where they’ll have 3-5 schools on the players list like they’re an incoming recruit.

Has anybody been able to determine any impacts of the timing of the player's visit? For instance, assuming you're already the top school for the recruit...
        • Does getting the visit done early (ie. Wk3-6) give you a better/worse chance of a commitment?
        • Is it ALWAYS best to do it before other schools?
        • Does the player's interest bar "fullness" seem to affect their likelihood of committing?

Likewise, anything in particular you handle differently if you aren't top of their list? Any special treatment for 5* prospects? I haven't been able to find much consistency, which I suppose is a good (realistic) thing. Just curious if others are finding a particular visit strategy to be effective outside of the weekly hours balancing.

Question about hard sells/pitch. I chose one option and then the next week that option was locked. Are you only allowed to do one pitch type once and then you have to choose a different pitch the next time?

Nope, you can keep hard pitching if you'd like.

You ALWAYS want to schedule visits ASAP. Don't wait til the end of the year because if it's tied, it's gonna go to the team with the higher prestige.

There are skills in the strategist skill tree called Last Dance for each position grouping and the more visits a recruit has taken before they visit you, the bigger bonus you get for your visit.

I'd agree in general getting a visit done as soon as possible is the right way to go about it, but there are times I push my visits back. If I can push a visit back for that ability, for extra complimentary visits, and/or for a bigger game for a potential bigger influence gain, then I will decide to go that route.

That's typically only if I feel the recruiting process for that particular recruit will drag along long enough for me to do that. If it's a tight race where I'm concerned they may commit earlier in the season, then I do try and get a visit in as early as possible.

I was talking about with zero bonuses, wasn't aware of Last Dance, so that's good to know.

Since the pitches you set roll over that's likely what you are seeing because you are already pitching them. If you do a soft sell on top of that then you would need to make a different pitch

I’m thinking house rules will be needed if you recruit athletes with the scrambling archetype. Because I’m seeing a lot of mid 90’s arm strength / speed. This is even down to the 2 and 3* so way to many of these.

My 3-7 JMU team currently with the 41st best recruiting class in the nation in year 1…

And fully scouted, Egnew is a gem so he’s really a 5-star QB

Really wish we had sliders for recruiting so we could change the weights for what type of players were generated and at what quality.

Give me that, give me a recruiting difficulty, and get the demographics for recruits correct and I'll be happy enough to overlook some of the other issues with recruiting.

Does anyone know why when I try and schedule visits there's a padlock on the game week I'm trying to choose? I'm certain it's not because there's too many recruits visiting, I have one tackle coming week 7 otherwise nothing scheduled all year. There's a little padlock on the icon for week 7 and 8, both home games. I've got points and the recruits are ready for visits. This happens for multiple recruits and they don't have any other visits scheduled that week or anything (I'm trying to think of any reason possible!)

                            Any ideas?

Recruiting pipeline primarily seems to be the way. It was a houserule before now it seems to be what you're supposed to do. I pretty much live in the pipeline tab.

It’s sooo bad. I found 3 2-star ATHs in this class with 90+ speed and 94+ THP. Accuracies are all above 80. These guys shouldn’t be a dime a dozen. Kinda regret my online dynasty didn’t make a house rule against it.
