I think as others have said, that pipeline plays a bigger part than they make it out to be. Besides the examples given, I read about someone else who theorized this as well, when they wanted Notre Dame HC job. They started a new dynasty and chose Big Apple, and that’s when they finally eventually got a ND HC offer.

Of my experiences, having Central FL pipeline always gave me Florida and Miami offers. And I was wanting an Illinois dynasty one time but could never get it until I did that dynasty with the Central FL pipeline (gold tier for IL). So I’m more convinced that it is more important than I am of any of the other things they tell you matter.

I started a new dynasty as the Kansas OC. After one season, got the HC offer from Western Michigan which is my alma mater so I took it. NOTE: When I started this dynasty my goal was to land a Big Ten offer as my permanent HC job but I digress...

Anyway, I've played five seasons with WMU winning three Natty's and I've only received three HC offers. FREAKING weird.
