Going to start a new Online Dynasty today with 2 friends. I'm using Colorado State. I remember them having a powerful HB and a good CB. I'm big on the coaching carousel so I'll experiment with that a lot.

Started a new dynasty with New Mexico. Started out the season with a tough loss to Texas St, then beat UTEP pretty bad where my QB Cole Gautsche had 170 yards rushing and 3 TD's. Now in Week 11, we are 5-4 just coming off a must needed 45-10 win over Air Force. Cole Gautsche has over 700 yards rushing as a QB and also 9 rushing TD's. He's just a sophomore and he's just a beast at running people over. My top RB Kasey Carrier went down in week 3 and finally comes back this week. My backup running back also went down for 4 games while Carrier was down, so was down to my 3rd stringer, Gongbay, who has been a strong runner stepping up as the starter. He basically has won the starting job next year when he'll be a senior and Carrier has graduated.

Also, close to signing a 4 star RB recruit who will more than likely start when Gongbay graduates. Have 2 3 stars, 3 stars and 5 1 stars who have signed so far.

We have a must win game against Colorado St up next, then on the road against Fresno St and Boise State. Not sure if we can win those 2, so that's why we need to win against Colorado St to have a chance at a bowl.

Thinking about starting a new dynasty later, can't decide with who though. I'm not going to do Georgia State, I've already done that so many times. I'm thinking maybe South Alabama.

I am doing a south Alabama one right now and depending on the roster you use you might have a scrambler qb who runs ppl over...but he can't throw to save his life. Otherwise the roster is pretty limited. The HB Jones and the TE are amazing though.
Won't change my sig until the Seattle Seahawks win the Super Bowl...wait, that happened ! Let's win another one! Go Hawks!!

Finished the season on a 3 game losing streak at Temple. No bowl game for us, but definitely some positives to build on for next season. Have a 4 star power back coming in. Think that'll help the running game be more consistent.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I'll probably end up only running the ball.

Starting my dynasty as the OC at South Alabama, with my playbook being the spread option. My alma mater is Michigan State, so I'm looking forward to having a job with them sometime soon.

Re: How is your dynasty going

so my OC with Idaho went pretty well this season. Ended up 11-2 and ranked 25 at the end of the year. Undefeated in the Sun Belt and only lost to Boise St and Washington State (in OT) early in the year. Beat So Miss in the New Orleans Bowl to finish the season.

I'm actually a bit upset about this because you don't normally see it happen with a small conference school, especially after losing 2 games and only being ranked 25, but my sophomore RB won the heisman...He had good stats but it wasn't like ridiculous. Ended up with I think like 1700 yards and like 25 or so touchdowns.

Decided to leave in the off season for a better school when Paul Petrino left to take over the Maryland HC job and they didn't offer me the promotion. Hilariously they hired Paul's dad Bobby (who was at Arkansas State in my dynasty) to take over at HC. He's getting a really good team for the Sun Belt so I kind of expect him to win the Sun Belt and then find a better job after 1 season.

I ended up taking the job at BYU, even though I could have went to Baylor, Boise St, or Washington. I moved BYU and Cincinnati into the Big 12 this past season to actually make it a 12 team conference and BYU ended up going 2-10. I felt bad with how terrible they did so I figured I would go make them good haha. Plus I like their alternate black jerseys.

Beginning of the season they are an 88 ovr team which puts them at about the middle of the road in the Big 12. Hoping that I can get 9 wins but I'll be happy with 8 in year 1. The first 4 games of the season are all rivalry games then I have all conference games after (Utah, Hawaii, Boise St, SDSU are the rivals). I was happy to see that I will actually get a QB with a decent arm to throw with (90 in each category) then in the first game I learned the hard way that he is left handed...so we will see how this goes

I'm thinking I am going to do 2 seasons here and then probably take off for a HC job. Maybe I will try going 3 years, we will see

I started a new dynasty and put all the new teams in for next year and replaced Eastern Michigan with UVA Wise (a school I had full ride at playing nose guard before I had my shoulder replaced). I had take all the bowl bids off next season. I am using Bluff sliders.

Re-started my dynasty and chose Pittsburgh. Played an intense game Week 1 against #14 FSU. We played our hearts out in front of a home crowd that saw us lose 46-44 in OT3. Except after, it glitched and froze my game at the highlights screen and didn't count. I'd much rather lose than simulate it, but I don't feel like replaying.

Opening to my second season as OC for Temple opened more pleasantly then the first season did. 40-21 win over Penn State at Beaver Stadium. Only one turnover, which was a combination of a great play by the defense and a poor decision on the throw. If we can win some of the games that were close losses last season, we have a good shot of getting to a Bowl. 7 wins and a bowl are my goals for the season, it's just a matter of finishing games more effectively, and maybe a little help from the Defense not turning into swiss cheese when we get a lead.

Re: How is your dynasty going

Hadn't done an update on my second crack at a pro/reg dynasty in a while, but I completed Season 1 at ULM and after upsetting Oklahoma in the first game of the season on a last-second field goal, I was able to guide the Warhawks to a 8-4 regular season record. Unfortunately, I lost the tiebreaker to Arkansas St. to play in the Sun Belt Championship game against Rice, but I was able to face and beat Northern Illinois in the Go Daddy Bowl.

Seeing that a good chunk of my offense would graduate, I turned down ULM's 5-year extension to stay as their OC and went to the carousel. After a test run of looking at the possible jobs that would be available, I decided to become the OC at Louisville, who surprisingly will have Teddy Bridgewater coming back to the team with 5 senior WRs.

Also during the regular season, each team lost once and Michigan State wound up beating the No. 1 team (Ohio State and Nebraska) two straight weeks. Yet, it would be Ohio State that would rout Stanford 41-13 to win a National Championship.

                          RELEGATED & PROMOTED TEAMS
UConn (to the C-USA) for Western Kentucky (to the AAC East Division)
-UConn had a dreadful season at 2-10 and losing all 9 of its conference games, while WKU went 10-3. In typical Bobby Petrino fashion though, he stayed behind in the C-USA after going to 2nd place Marshall. Stunner.

Tulsa (to the Mountain West) for San Diego State (to the AAC West Division)
-This actually wasn't fair to Tulsa, who went 5-4 in the AAC and finished third in the West Division, but Houston, Boise and Fresno all were above .500 as the Golden Hurricane was 5-7. SDSU makes that division even tougher after going 11-2.

UMass (to the MAC) for Northern Illinois (to the C-USA)
-UMass slumped to 2-10 and Northern Illinois shot to 12-2. Since UMass isn't in the west, they switch with Bowling Green.

Louisiana Tech (to the Sun Belt) for Arkansas State (to the Mountain West)
-A 3-9 season wasn't what the doctor ordered for the Bulldogs, but they will be grouped now with ULM, ULL and Tulane in the Sun Belt East. Arkansas State goes to the Mountain West with a regional rival in Tulsa.

Speaking of Louisville, I will be tested from the jump by facing Notre Dame on the road early. Unlike PocketSquare, I don't have a 3 game regular season max that I play, but I do select 3 at random and play all ranked games and games of importance (roughly 6 games).

I also imported a draft class to Madden so we'll see where those players go.

So in week 1 of my USA dynasty I go up against FAU, and it went into overtime tied at 7. I went first and scored a touchdown but for some reason the PAT wasn't good. They end up scoring and winning 14-13, but then my game froze. After replaying it, I won 28-21, but then it froze AGAIN. I don't want to simulate but I'm not going to play it again if it keeps on freezing.

I have had that happen before. Sucks doing it the third time but third times the charm. I ended up simming mine and lost, so i recommend playing it.

I am thinking of starting a new dynasty and doing house rules of can only add players on my side of the ball to the recruiting board and letting the cpu handle the points, ie if i am the OC (which i probably will) then i can only add offensive players and i only get ten of the 35 allotted slots to do so. Also I can not use a custom playbook until i become a head coach, i like to use them but being forced to use a schools terrible playbook might be fun. Also i can't start at a school with a higher rating then a 2 star and it has to be in one of the bcs conferences, which will limit my choices and will make it harder to have a great season.
