How do you up your coaches recruiting in offline dynasty ? I'm trying to make Jim Mora the greatest recruiter of all time !

You have to edit the coach's skill tree and reset it before you start a dynasty. You can reset both of the trees and put as many of those point into recruiting as you want.

What level do most people start their coach out as to begin a dynasty. It's impossible to recruit without anything.

For me I usually start at 3 or 6, I like having maxed scouting and then I put the rest of the points into other abilities.

I start @ level 1 and go with slowest progression. Like this I'm in 2037 and my coach is still only lvl 33. On Normal progression I would've been maxed out by 2037.

I started out in coach mode but did the last 4 games in cpu v cpu. All default all-American

Nolefan I have followed some of your post about cpu vs cpu. Are you happy with default aa cpu vs cpu? Do you turn hfa on and how many minutes? What about the stats at the end of the season with default?

I'll be interested to see if you get fired if you have another season below target wins. I would like to know if two seasons in a row below target wins are enough for the HC to get a pink slip, or if there are other criteria factored in. (such as final ranking?)

In my dynasty, I have had a few seasons where I've underperformed (didn't meet target wins), but not two in a row, so I haven't been canned yet.

Not sure at all. My target wins are 5 for the duration of my 5-yr contract and I was off by one. Hopefully this will be a much better, full cpu vs cpu season. Year 1 was 3/4 coach mode (not a great play caller) and the last 1/4 was cpu vs cpu.

Finished recruiting before work this morning and have to do my position changes and depth chart setup before starting year 2 this afternoon.

I'm pleased with it. I did a lot of switching speed threshold during games but in season 2 it's going to be all default, all the time.

Stats looks good to me. From the games I looked at, we averaged a combined 130-140 plays or so using 9 minute quarters

From my observations and experience, target wins are dynamic and can raise and lower depending on your performance. If you have improving seasons and continue to elevate your final rankings, expect your target wins to increase before your contract ends.
