I play 10min quarters with the accelerated play clock on. I changed all coaches no huddle setting to conservative and its perfect imo. I have posted box scores in my slider thread and on this thread so take a look.

I should mention that I play full coach mode controls

10 minutes and accelerated clock is actually what I switched to and it's perfect so far.

Re: How is your dynasty going

One week after upsetting undefeated Boise State, the University Nevada traveled to play their in-state rival, UNLV for the battle of the Fremont Cannon.

Nevada throwing two interceptions in the redzone early really put a lot of pressure on their defense who was played great the first half. Nevada managed to score a touchdown with 5min left in the second quarter, but on the play starting QB, Fajardo went down with a strained pectoral and is expected to be out the next four weeks.

Before the injury he was 11/15 135yds and the one interception so we were moving the ball, just shooting ourselves in the foot with a few holding penalties and turnovers in the redzone. Backup QB, Devin Combs was obviously not prepared to play as he started a miserable 1/8 before settling down. He finished the game 21/37 194yds 0td 1int.

UNLV scored 21 points in the third quarter, led by their QB Caleb Herring running and passing. Rushing for 126yds on 8 carries and two touchdowns, with a long of a 67yd touchdown run.

Needless to say, after a huge upset last week Nevada had a huge letdown against UNLV and we lost 24-16. I had a chance to tie it on a last minute drive but with no timeouts I was working against the clock and ran out of time.

We are now 5-4 on the season, and 3-3 in conference play. Next up is another conference road game @ Fresno State, led by star QB Derek Carr but are struggling with a 2-6 record on the year.

Do you play full coach mode or actually play controlling everything?

I just bought the game, finished season 1 with UMass, 5-7 (4-4) and on my second season I'm already a 2 star school and with a 2-3 (1-0) record. I just suck at playing, but am having fun

I do it just cuz I like knowing the player ratings are determining what happens moreso than me controlling everything. I never got into doing it until this game honestly but I love it so far. Maybe if I could find some sliders that would give me the same stats and games I get on coach mode but Idk...right now I don't feel like messing with sliders again as I did to get the ones I have now for CM and they're about as good as I'm gonna get for coaching imo.

Wow...losing my QB sucks. I am losing 35-0 at halftime against Fresno State! Derek Carr doing anything he wants and I can't move the ball on offense for nothing. I have 115yds of offense!

I think I'll go ahead and sim this the rest of the way lol. With 10min quarters the sim stats are high but whatever...I can't do it any longer lol.

I lost 59-28 and back to .500 at 5-5 on the season but more importantly 3-4 in the conference and my chances of a conference championship is dwindling.

A bye week coming up hopefully helps. I'm still without my starting qb and best player for two more weeks though.

Finished up the regular season as HC of Nevada in year one of my dynasty. We finished 6-6 and like the saying goes, as good as our record indicates. Too inconsistent and defense was one of the worst in the country.

I got a bid at the FAMOUS Idaho Potato Bowl lol. I'll play Buffalo who went 8-4 (6-2) this year.

                      Conference championship games:

                      C-USA- UTEP beats Marshall 44-30.

MAC- Bowling Green beats Ball State 37-14.

                      American- UCF beats Memphis 42-28.

SEC- Alabama beats South Carolina 38-21.

MWC- Utah State beats San Diego State 35-21.

PAC 12- Oregon beats UCLA 35-28.

ACC- Louisville beats Georgia Tech 28-18.

Big 10- Ohio State beats Wisconsin 35-16.

                      BCS Bowls:

Rose Bowl- Oregon (11-2) vs Ohio State (11-2)

Fiesta Bowl- Georgia Tech (11-2) vs Kansas State (10-2)

Sugar Bowl- USC (9-3) vs Texas A&M (10-2)

Orange Bowl- Northern Illinois (11-1) vs Louisville (11-2)

                      BCS Nat'l Championship Game

                      Alabama (13-0) vs UCF (12-1)

Auburn got screwed imo...only loss was to Bama the last week. They should've got in the sugar bowl at least. And UCF is a shocker lol...I plan to play each BCS bowl game choosing a team at random so it will be interesting!

After a 7-6 first season as OC at Maryland which included a little Caesars pizza bowl win. Got an offer to go back to Georgia State as OC, but stayed at Maryland and we're 1-0 with a 45-16 win over Bowling Green.

I am in Week 5 of my VT dynasty (2-2) with the new 2015 rosters and updated schedule as close I could get it. I am still trying to find a offense for this team. On defense I am only controlling a DL/DE. The CPU is doing the recruiting for as I have the players type of what I am looking for. It been very challenge doing it this way.

My first season as offensive coordinator at Oklahoma went phenomenal. Finished 12-1 with a win in the Fiesta Bowl, ranked #3 in the nation. I'm kind of upset due to being ranked #2 at the end of Conference Championsip Week, but slipping to #3 overall once I simmed to Bowl Week. Oh well, I'll be in the Championship Hunt this season.

It was interesting transitioning from a team that threw the ball ~175-200 times a year to throwing the ball 300 times. I liked it though, it made my team much more dangerous, especially on Play Action. I placed four offensive guys on the All-Big 12 First Team, four on the All-Big 12 Second Team, and had one Freshman All-American. This was honestly one of the most stacked teams I've played with, I didn't even know how to spread the ball around. Overall I finished with the #2 offense (#10 passing and #5 rushing).

Senior QB Trevor Knight was no doubt my Team MVP. Something I never thought that I would do I accomplished with him and that was set the NCAA Season Record for Passer Rating, at 194.6. It was actually above 202.5 for most of the season but I had a rough stretch in the last couple weeks. Some stats:

Re: How is your dynasty going

After a great start to my teambuilder dynasty im about to enter the dark ages. My first two years as head coach of Western Ontario were solid, going 13-0 in year 1 as an independent winning the Fiesta Bowl. Year 2 i moved to C-USA and went 13-0 into the National Championship game, then got smashed by Alabama 45-21. in the first two years i had an outstanding defense highlighted with several award winners and key upper class-man. now comes the problems.

most of my defensive core is gone from those two teams, losing all my starting linebackers, and my two best (and most decorated) lineman. while my secondary remains strong returning 3 of 5 starters, i lost my best safety and corner. offensively i lost my heisman winning running back (shouldnt have won it) and my best receiver who was my return man. recruiting thus far has been awful as a new school.

the real problem now begins after this 3rd season. i have moved into the Big 12 to give myself some added competition, and the depth chart is about to become a critical issue. after this season i lose:
                              top 2 QB's
                              starting and 3rd string HB
both fullbacks (i have at least 1 on the field 90% of the time, 2 50%)
2 best WR's, and another backup
                              5 OL, including 3 starters
                              4 DL, all starters
                              best LB
4 of my top 6 in the secondary

this season coming up is going to be my last chance to win anything for awhile, as year 4-6 will be damage control trying not to get fired and restock the talent. realistically i hope for 9-3 this season, and the next few it would be nice to get to a bowl game

Started a new dynasty in honor of NCAA's release date.

Year 1: San Jose State Head Coach

                                Offense: Air Raid
                                Defense: 4-3

I decided to take the job at SJSU because I wanted to build a program. A Solid QB, David Fales-Sr., and California recruiting base were additional attractions to the 1-star job.

Game 1: 42-9 win over FCS West. Although I allowed only 9 pts, this game was a serious wake up call to how bad my defense is. FCS West gained about 350 yards on me.

Game 2: After jumping out to a 14-0 lead over #3 Stanford, the Cardinal stabilized the game via their 3 yards and a cloud of dust approach. I threw a critical second half interception and lost 20-24.

So far, and I know its early, but I'm having a blast with SJSU. Its going to be fun to develop this program. Wish this game was ported to next gen.
