See I wish I would have used a cupcake template to start out, I used Lafayette and renamed all the roster to be accurate. ratings are off but

I think I have Nebraska Kearney as a 75 over all.

Then I also made Nebraska Omaha a while back

along with Chadron State, Wayne State, and the NAIA schools.

Re: How is your dynasty going

Year 4 (Y2 as Fresno OC) was decent, but not what I wanted (although it is refreshing to lose). Finished 9-4 with another loss in the Poinsettia Bowl, this time to former foe Navy. Losses to rivals SDSU and SJSU killed any chance of competing for the conference title. Myles Carr finished with 3253 yards, 24 TDs, and 14 INTs, which I can deal with seeing as our O-Line was horrible. RS Soph RB Paul Francis finished with 1419 yards and 13 TDs, while we had a balanced receiving attack of Seniors Justin Johnson (956 yds, 8 TDs), Damari Scott (922 yds, 7 TDs) and RS Soph Stan Mendoza (1019 yds, 6 TDs). If the O-Line was better, we probably win the conference title again.

          Time for the yearly recap

          Conference Champions:
          ACC: Clemson
          American: UConn
          Big XII: Baylor
          Big 10: Ohio State
          C-USA: Marshall
          MAC: Miami U
          MWC: SDSU
          Pac-12: Oregon
          SEC: Alabama
          Sun Belt: UL-Lafayette

          BCS Bowls:
NCG: Ohio State over Georgia Tech (no, GT did not play for the ACC title)
          Fiesta: Cal over Mississippi State
          Sugar: Alabama over Baylor
Orange: Clemson over SMU (UConn was probably pissed)
          Rose: Oregon over Wisconsin

Heisman: Thomas Tyner (Oregon), Derrick Green (Mich) 2nd, Cardale Jones (Ohio St.) 3rd
          Maxwell: Zach Kline (Cal)
          Walter Camp: Derrick Green

          Final AP Top 15
          1. Ohio State
          2. Georgia Tech
          3. Wisconsin
          4. Clemson
          5. Alabama
          6. Michigan
          7. Louisville
          8. Oregon
          9. Nebraska
          10. Mississippi State
          11. Cal
          12. Virginia Tech
          13. Florida
          14. Virginia
          15. Penn State.

Oregon, Ohio State, and Clemson (all three as OC) were the three best job openings offered to me. With me being on the West Coast, I decided to take the Oregon job as my last OC job before I tried to move back East as a HC

Akron finished 2020 with a Military Bowl win, 35-13, over Georgia State. This is Akron's 2nd Bowl win ever and third ever bowl appearance. After the game, I created a coach, a new OC at UTEP, one of the worst teams in the national in 2020.

Entering my third overall season, first 2 seasons as OC at UL-Lafayette saw me finish 11-2 and 12-1 respectively (I may need to change some sliders again) with 2 Sun Belt Championships and 2 New Orleans Bowl wins. I got the Head Coaching job at Pitt, and I have my work cut out for me, not as talented a roster as the one I left in Louisiana, and a tougher conference, so getting to the 8 win goal is going to be a challenge.

Now I'm kicking around running another dynasty with Georgia State, try to take them to near the same level as Georgia (similar to the Florida/Florida State rivalry) and all of that. Just debating on which house rule restrictions to lay on myself for that game.

Re: How is your dynasty going

So I started up my SJSU Dynasty finally last night. Started off terrible losing 38-31 to FCS Fusion at home. IDK what was up. Could not do any thing and was down 21-0 in the 1st qrt after throwing 2 quick picks.

Week 2. Stanford welcomes me in for our rivalry game and what do you know. After both of us put up 200 yard of offense in the first half with me leading 21-17 neither of us can move the ball in the 2nd half. I kick a field goal to go up 24-17 and they score late to tie it 24-24 and we head into over time. I score on my possession and hold them to win 31-24 and walk away with a win over #5 Stanford.

Week 4 coming off a bye week my defense come out soft and we give up 100+ yards rushing to Minnesota's qb but we are able to pull a 27-17 win off to go to 2-1.

I have 25 recruits on my board but only offering points to 12 of them at the moment.trying to steal a 4* running back but it doesn't look like he is coming my way.

I made a coordinator to make my Akron dynasty more interesting. My created job was OC at UTEP, but my first offer was OC at South Carolina, so of course I accepted.

                        A. Tennessee dynasty Gus Malzahn style(Auburn Playbook, start as OC move to head coach. Try to get HC job at Tennessee.)

                        B. Miami return to glory. HC (Try to get the 02 squad going with like 10 future NFL stars)

                        C. Empty playbook, all 5 wide sets. OC(*tell me school to start at. Preferably a team with 5 good wide outs)

                        D. DC job somewhere. (*tell me school to start at. Preferably a team with a good D)

Started out 2-0 at Pittsburgh with tougher than the score indicates wins over Akron and Georgia State. 49-21 and 52-10, respective scores. Next up... #18 ranked Iowa... this will be fun.

Learned a tough lesson this morning. I'm Akron, in 2020. Week 2, we host Washington, and we're heavy underdogs. I start the game on a great star, and it's 21-7 Akron late in the third quarter. I sim the rest of the game, and Washington comes back to win 35-28. If not for an easy win over an FCS team in week 1, I could have an 0-3 start, as next we face Alabama.
