AA. No sliders. I don't like Heisman mainly because I feel like it's artificially more difficult. When I play, I get annoyed at how much the competition is boosted even if their players are the same skill as yours and how your players suddenly forget how to do things like block or tackle effectively. It's a really dumb way to do difficulties. If there are any sliders that do it better I'd use them but I've never really messed with them.

Running a 335 in my new dynasty with old dominian the team with the blue lion aka detroit lions.

just took over 2nd year and my d is terrible i'm D coordinator and i'm need some help. getting scorched b/c i have no damn pass rush wat so ever.

I'm playing my FR(RS) FS as the hybrid who can cover or tackle. I usually play some in weak link in secondary usually a safety since i run mostly man and doing man cover manually in this game is hard. but I do play as CB also.

Just won a shootout in game one against NorthWestern it came down to hall mary in my end zone being swatted away.

I want to run a 335 since my semi pro team ran it.

              Using lbj273 house rules.

I always rank below average in pass yards per game no matter if i have 3 clone copies of D.Revis as my corners. However i usually rank above average in sacks and top 10 in run support but that is using a 3-4 playbook.

What can I do to shore up one end until i'm able to get better players.

What type of players should i recruit or have cpu recruit for me. DE,DT,LB all run stoppers. while secondary will be pass coverage.

My Old Dominion Dynasty didn't save, so I had to restart. Sitting at 2-1, after a 66-41 loss to East Carolina. Beat Maryland 38-35 thanks to a last second TD. Then dismantled an FCS team, 59-10. Not sure if I'm looking forward to trying to make it 3 in a row at Utah State... or if I expect to lose to Utah State. Guess we'll find out tomorrow morning when I play that game.

I imagine some people will be shocked at some of these scores, but most of it is a result of my defense. I'm pretty good at creating turnovers and rushing QB throws. Teams are usually quickly reduced to being one dimensional and almost always end up scoring on big plays. My offense was pretty weak for the most part, despite some of the scores. I score a bit from defense and special teams and end up with a lot of short fields.

0-6 with Air Force. I've had a chance to win 3 of these games with final drives but just couldn't get it done. Sure enough I've been the underdog in every game. I've lost my starting QB for the season and my backup has struggled. My defense, surprisingly enough has played great but offensively we are terrible.

3-1 after a 28-7 win over Utah State. Got the running game going early and by the time their defense woke up I had the game well in hand.

Re: How is your dynasty going

For a nice little recruiting twist for the first year of my SJSU dynasty I created my 2 sons as prospects from out town in Texas. After a tough recruiting battle I lost them to Texas and Colorado St. I already play Colorado St in conference so Ill see my Defensive end son every year. He is rated 66 R-Dend and is starting. Other son is 3rd team Qb for UT so guess what, yea Ill schedule them for the next 4 years.

So 2014 Started off with a Bang. Week one had my 72 rated SJS Spartans playing host to an unranked Texas Longhorn team. After getting sack a ton of times with Fales last year and this years projected start not as mobile either I went ahead and started my redshirt Soph Joe Gray ( 86 speed decent arm) to start. Start off decent but getting gashed on defense by UT's rb Gray. Force a punt and I'm marching down the field and my 1st pass attempt is picked off for a pick 6. Next drive I punt and down them at the 2. Defense stands up and gets a safety. I force them to punt and my next drive I am moving the ball again and I scramble on 3rd and 8 only to get hit a yard short and fumble. Qb is down and out for 3 weeks with a knee injury, Needless to say it fell apart for my defense and I ended up falling 41-27. All in all I have confidence i can win the conference this year and bring in a decent class, Oh and my 2 true freshman Wr's Taylor Woods and Micheal Woods combined for a 188 yard day. Not bad for true freshman. Next up the Ducks ranked #13 and I totally expect to get blown out of this one. I have very little depth on def yet.

How long do you guys typically stay in the same position with the same school? I'm working on a coach dynasty. What I'm trying to do is get some of the achievements and max out my skill tree. I want to end up and a major program, where I stay until I get a number of crystal footballs and top recruiting classes. I played as an OC for 5 years, 2 teams. One year HC at Wyo and am now almost done with year 1 as Texas A&M HC. I noticed the HC at USC is on the hot seat. USC would be a place to stay and work on my goals. What am asking is, would I be the only guy out there leaving 2 coaching jobs after 1 year? Would you guys say that is too little time if you were in my spot?

I haven't done a dyn long enough to answer the first portion of your question. If the offer is there though, TAKE IT. You don't have to "feel bad" about leaving after a year if the offer is on the table. Do what you want to do, and don't let anyone hold u back

Not necessarily. There was a recent USC coach who was head coach of three different top-tier programs/NFL teams in a three year span. Granted, he didn't quite manage the legacy you're dreaming of having at USC.

                              This guy!

The minimum I try to stay is 2 years. I don't want to be pulling a Kiffin.
