Coach called up Gene Smith and simply asked where and when do you want me to sign. Coach is reportedly on his way to Columbus Oh to make it official. The first report of the contract was very incentive based reportedly 5 years at 20 million base salary with the possibility of another incentive based 20 million for a total of 40 mil over that 5 year span. Stay tuned!

Deal would make JP highest paid coach in rivals history…. High paychecks equals high expectations! Excited to see what he can do after huge deal.

Definitely can’t say I was aware of this, went with 4 million a year because it’s in the middle the incentive base will be the major of money but that’s going to come in a tier structure that might be impossible so more than likely it will be sitting at 4-6 mil a year which is middle to top 10-15ish. Let’s get it fellas!

Possibly a forty million dollar coach. (Including incentives). 8 million a year would be huge

After going back and forth I was still indecisive this morning, but after reading JP's post I realized that as much as I want to do something else I love this program, I love the uniforms, and I love chasing rings with Miami. Switching would be fun but college football is different when you have history with your team

Oklahoma is a historic program that my dad has loved since he was a kid. I love everything they stand for and the program's consistent dedication to producing an elite product every year. This team is known for offense but I want to be the coach who brings that next level of grit to the defensive side of the ball which is always where I hang my hat. New year, new me, new beginnings, new era.

Oklahoma said they will be offering me a 5 year deal with no money. I will have an OU black card that charges any and everything I purchase for the remainder of my time at OU to the school. House, cars, kids tuition, a candy bar, you name it.

                              BOOOOOOMERRRR!!!!!!
