    RIVALS 22-23

    ***** COACHES

    • Create a coach, make the Alma Mater a school you want

    • Postseason: Any players that want to transfer or leave early cannot be swayed

    • All skill trees are the same

    ****** RECRUITING

    - Any one who has you top 10 can be recruited
    - No Athletes
    - Only true freshman can be redshirted

    ***** GENERAL IN-GAME RULES

    - MIX UP YOUR PLAYBOOK ON OFFENSE.. play calling should be more like the NFL than NCAA, dont be TOO repetitious
[emoji3588] - if you have a specific passing attack (short quick passes, attacking a specific defender, etc) just try and vary the formations/plays but you can use a strategic attack
[emoji3588] - Running a simple handoff is fine even if it's repetitive (ex big back just runs dives, small back just runs tosses)

    ***** BANNED ON OFFENSE

    - shotgun flex runs up the middle, if your pb has alot of shotgun flex formations switch it
    - no read options
    - oline shifts
    - no pass plays with 3 guys running the same route

    ***** BANNED ON DEFENSE

    - dlinemen standing up
    - run commit
    - 1-5-5
    - manually moving more than 1 player

    ***** PRESNAP OFFENSE

    • No hot routes (RB/TE to block is ok)
    • Pass plays cannot have 3 players running the same route (hail mary's ok)
    • No Read Option
    • No Shotgun Offset runs

    ***** PRESNAP DEFENSE

    • only MANUALLY move 1 player presnap
    • no nano blitzes

***** 4TH DOWN RULE (NO EXCEPTIONS)

[emoji3588] a) Inside the 35 you can go for it
    b) No limit if you're down in the 4th quarter (late 3rd if its realistic) OR DOWN 21+ AT ANYTIME

    ***** QB RUNNING

    • You can take off as much as you want just make sure it looks real

    ***** SPECIAL TEAMS

    - Kickers CAN NOT punt, punters CAN NOT kick fgs or kick off
[emoji3588] - You can NOT switch them in position changes
[emoji3588] - Endzone kicks can be returned if the CPU starts running

    • ingame coaching strategies allowed
    • Chew Clock must be 3minutes or less
    • Aggressive Clock banned
    • You can run a slow paced offense but dont milk the clock throughout the game

    ***** ADVANCES

•Advances will be set for every Thursday Night, and every Sunday Night. Play the games you feel like playing

•You can sim any game you want (NO SUPER SIMMING), if the advance day comes up and really havent had time to play but want to I will extend the deadline.

•I expect User games to at least START getting scheduled THE DAY OF or before advance day.. if one player tries to schedule it and the other waits too long they will be put on auto

    [emoji91] 4 OLE MISS vs 2 GEORGIA [emoji91]

College football finally returns after what felt like the longest off-season in Rivals history. With the slate of games we have this opening week it was well worth the wait. College Gameday is in the great state of Mississippi for what could very well be the first of 2 matchups between these two teams. Ole Miss came up short in last years SEC Championship against Florida but their stars returned for one more run with Lane Kiffin. The Bulldogs are absolutely loaded on both sides of the ball and they have been anxious to prove that they are ready for a couple of rings this season after a disappointing season last year. With so much explosive talent on both offenses I have to go with the Georgia defense to set the tone for the season. Ole Miss can score with anybody but they lost so much on defense I think Georgia will have the advantage late.

    Pre: UGA 33 MISS 28

      RIVALS 22-23

      KEY PLAYERS
      32 HB Henderson SO - 91
      5 WR Wilson SR - 99
      11 WR Smith-Njigba JR - 93
      7 QB Stroud JR - 96
      29 CB Burke SO - 86

Should be another year in the Championship race for OSU. Expect a Heisman type year from Henderson who will be the focal point based on JPs style, but this passing game will be electric when they want it to be. Defensively the Buckeyes struggled last year so they will need some guys to step up. Burke had 6 ints as a true freshman and will be CB1 this year. If he can be a game changer on the outside that helps the defense.

      KEY PLAYERS
      11 OLB Bonito SR - 97
      17 WR Mims SR - 97
      26 HB Brooks SR - 95
      13 QB Williams SO - 87
      15 FS Washington SO - 86

OU had a young team last year so I expect a dominant year with everybody back. Washington and Bonito were game changers on defense last year, they will build on that if they keep the 4-3 system. A 3-4 scheme changes Bonito's role to more of a pass rusher but he can do it all. Offensively they spoke about going to a true air raid offense initially, but I dont know if they'll want Caleb being the #1 guy over Brooks

      KEY PLAYERS
      5 QB Jones SR - 95
      6 HB Wright JR - 89
      5 CB Elam SR - 98
      11 MLB Diabate SR - 86
      14 WR Whittemore JR - 87

Florida's run last year was incredible but they didnt finish like they wanted to. Team will be more focused than ever this year with that explosive backfield of Jones and Wright. The WR top 4 of the WR core has play making potential. Boogie traditionally likes to toss the ball around, he might go back to that this year. Defensively what we saw against OU shows the potential of this staff with high caliber athletes, which we haven't seen before now. The secondary is deep.

      KEY PLAYERS
      5 HB Robinson JR - 99
      8 WR Worthy SO - 89
      33 MLB Gbenda JR - 88
      6 WR Moore SR - 89
      17 QB Jenkins FR - 80

With Jenkins announced as the starter that tells me they really want to spread the ball around this year to this greedy WR core. Nothing new with Arch, but I want to remind everyone that his last Heisman was a RB at LSU.. Big year for Robinson on the way. Defensively they may struggle against some of the better teams but Arch is Big 12 through and through, he doesnt mind a shootout and he's the best QB whisperer this league has seen.

      KEY PLAYERS
      1 MLB Sewell JR - 93
      5 DE Thibodeaux SR - 99
      2 CB Wright JR - 94
      26 HB Dye SR - 92
      3 DE Dorlus JR - 89

Ducks will be lead by their defense this year as they replace some key pieces on offense. Sewell was a do it all guy leading the team in ints from the MLB position. Expect Thibodeaux and Dorlus to get to live in opponent's backfields. Oregon reverted back to the run in close games several times last year so early in the year expect a heavy dose of Dye. They have a couple of gems behind Dye as well, could be a dangerous ground attack heading into Pac12 play.

        RIVALS 22-23

We’re old school and blue collar, we’re gonna stick to our identity and make it better each week. Put your hard hats on because we’re men at work. It’s gonna be good year on the field and recruiting trail. These boys busted their bottoms this off-season and we’re gonna be awarded for the work we put in.

Not too much to say about this one. Back ups played the whole 4th quarter. Texas beats ULM, 49-20. OSU up next week.

            RIVALS 22-23

            Osu @ Ucla

1st quarter started with Osu receiving the ball and nonchalantly moving the ball with ease against a subpar Ucla defense Wilson would score the first td of the year and Osu would go up 7-0. UCLA’s Charbbonet would break multiple tackles on the first play and house if from 75 to tie it at 7. The Osu offense would dominate on another drive to take a 14-7 lead. Ucla would go back to the ground but a switch by the defensive staff to a different defense halted the drive quickly. Osu would go back to Wilson and Njigba while mixing Henderson in to take a 21-7 lead. We will just skip the rest because this Osu team played lights out the rest of the half and got 1 drive in the 3rd quarter when the backups finished it off, to early to tell but I think we may have found another weapon or 2 to use moving forward.

                5 OKLAHOMA vs UTEP

Expected a blowout when the game was scheduled, then I saw their roster after... Good team to open against.

First half was even, we couldnt get any separation on the score board, Caleb threw 2 picks and struggled hitting guys in stride on longer passes. Defense was underwhelming in zone coverage, kept having someone get beat in man. 17-10 at the half with Caleb hitting Stogner on a post for the first td of the year and Williams on a similar post later. We got stopped on 4th at the 41 and I sent my kicker out there to see what he could do, 58 yd fg no pressure

2nd half I threw Rattler out there just to see is his arm could give us some explosive plays and it did. He started 7/7 and got us in scoring drive twice out of the gate. 34-13 in the 4th, tried to get a dagger td before putting in the backups but we had to settle for 3. Backups get a stop d and a long drive on O, hoped to get one of them in the endzone but we had to fg inside the redzone. 40-13 and they cook my backups to get a td before we run out the clock.

Saw some good things on O, figured out a scheme on D that worked which was alot of pressure up front.

                #3 ND up next week

                  *Coach Breezy call in show*
Alright this is this years first call in show and are very excited to talk to coach Breezy about this upcoming season, ducks have a bye week, week 1 and we finally get a chance and ask coach some questions about this Oregon team and what the goals are!

Question 1: Coach what’s your and this locker room’s mindset going into this season?

Coach B: “the mindset is simple, go one week at a time and win the game of that week. We’re treating every opponent the same. Last year we under looked a Fresno state team and it but us in the butt. So whether it’s UNLV, Florida, or USC, we’re gonna treat it like it’s win or go home. Playoffs start week two for this Oregon team and it’s a long way to Pasadena for that rose bowl bid new year day. Rose bowl or bust…”

Question 2: can we expect the recruiting trail to be as good or better this season?”

Coach B: the “Oregon trail” is gonna be hot this year! We had a great class last year and we plan making it even better! This staff and myself have made recruiting top priority! And we will continue to stride on making it this program better and it starts at reaching to the young guns and getting them to believe in this staff, team, our future!

Question 3: coach boogie was trolling this team and you last season when you kept calling yourself a top 10 team and you kept pretty quiet about it, what’s your thoughts?

Coach B: well that’s a good question, our identity is simple here at Oregon, our talking is done on the field and the scoreboard! We’re work horses here at Oregon and that’s the way it’s gonna stay. We’re not gonna run our mouths, we speak great play making only. I’m very excited to play this Florida team because there’s a chance that that’s gonna be the toughest team we face all year. Teams in the eastern USA don’t respect football out west and we plan on proving them wrong and Oregon can line up and play with the best of teams. Best of luck when that time comes to play the gators. Looking forward to it.

                  *call in show ending*
That’s all the time we have today with coach, he’s got a lot to do and needs to be with this team. Good luck this year and give um hell for us!

Coach B: Go ducks & God bless!

                      [emoji91] 1 OHIO STATE vs 6 TEXAS [emoji91]

Deciding where to host College Gameday this week was the most difficult in any week I've ever week. 2 Ohio State vs 6 Texas will be the 12 o'clock game, 14 Florida vs 9 Ole Miss is a rematch of the SEC Championship and will be at 3:30, 3 Notre Dame vs 4 Oklahoma is a potential Natty preview at 6, and 1 Georgia vs 7 Clemson will be the primetime game. We're going to Columbus! You just cant beat a U5 matchup like this. The 2 best offenses in the country, the best RB, the best WR core, 2 extremely dominant defenses, 2 historic programs, and 2 of the best coaches in the country as well. All of that with Championship aspirations by 2 coaches who were 1 game away last season. I think this one is a toss up. Theres no real advantage on either side except for one.... Ohio State's DC. One thing that OSU does better than any team in the country is defensive game planning. You can never pin point why its so difficult to score against JP coached teams and it's because his staff does more work before the game than anybody. I dont think this will be a big play type of game, I think it will be a slug fest and that one big defensive call at the right time will be the difference.

If you ever accidentally go no huddle in a U5 game and it doesnt actually affect anything dont burn a timeout for it, just play

I have at least one play a game where Im trying to user catch it and it ends up in a no huddle.. If it affects the game or its a crucial down or something and the clock is stopped then take the delay of game and decline the penalty, or just play through it

                          UNLV @ OREGON

This game was interesting for us at Oregon. We had opportunity to blow these guys out but UNLV made plays to keep it close. They had a stud @ defensive end or outside edge rusher that lit it up with 5 sacks and was in my face all night long! Defense I can’t complain about, we forced two turnovers and only gave up ten points. UNLV opened the game with a scoop and score from our running back on his first carry. So we started the game on a deficit down 7-0 and we went from there. We played two quarterbacks Tyler Thompson @ Robby Ashbrook. Still not sure who I think gives us our best shot this season. Halftime we were up 17-14. Third quarter we got stuffed on a turnover on downs and at the end of the third quarter we threw a pick so we left 6-14 points off the board. Against our remaining schedule that’s gonna be crucial so we gotta capitalize on those plays the rest of the season. Fourth quarter we coasted to victory winning 27-17. Gotta brag on cornerback DJ James he’s an impact player for a reason getting a pick and only giving up one pass all game. Had a ton of break ups and played amazing game ball goes to him on his Saturday efforts!

3 NOTRE DAME vs 4 OKLAHOMA

                            1st
OU gets ball first and has to punt, but ND throws an interception on the first play as Coan gets hit. Key Lawerence picks it off setting up a short field. Williams after getting sacked throws it to the back of the end zone but that pass is picked by the FS. ND steals momentum and moves it down. Coan hits Brown in the back of the end zone for a 7-0 lead. OU responds with an aggressive passing drive and tie it 7-7.

                            2nd
ND picks up were they left off with Coan going 5/6 on the drive but the OU defense didnt give Williams anything on the ground. ND takes a 10-7 lead. OU responds with a 3 minute drive capped off by Major getting a 15 yd td run. 14-10 OU. ND has to punt and OU gets another good drive out of Major and Mims with Brooks scoring on the goalline. 21-10 OU. Key Lawrence would get a 2nd int to end ND's hopes of scoring before the half.

                            3rd
Something happened at halftime because ND came out with a 75 yd td reception on a curl route on the first play. 21-17 OU. Both defenses force empty possessions, OU gets it back and Caleb throws another pick. Another stop for OU though. 21-17 going into the 4th

                            4th
ND stops OU still in reach down 4 but the OU defense steps up with another stop. OU gets a couple first downs and Mario Williams takes a reverse down to the 4 with Brooks punching it in the next play. 28-17. ND gets inside the 30 with 3 minutes left but another sack forces a long fg and its short. OU never gives back. A kneel on the 3 yard line ends it. Huge road win for the Sooners

                              Texas @ Ohio State

Pretty simple gameplan coming in, dictate the game on offense and defense. Offensively we were going to test the Texas dline in the run game and see if they could hold up, defensively try to slow a high powered pass attack down by playing leverage defense.

                              1st quarter
Texas would defer and the Osu offense would go directly to the run game, Henderson and Williams would both have a few decent runs while the Texas d for the moment didnt have a response. Henderson would rip off a 40 yard td to put Osu up 7-0. Texas would respond with a nice play to Moore on a corner route as Shaw wiffed on the play setting up just outside the redzone. The Osu staff did a decent job of mixing things up coverage wise and forced a bad throw by Jenkins that Simon would snatch out of the air. Osu would go right back to the ground and realize Texas may not have an answer for this oline. Stroud would hit Stover off of playaction and Osu would go up 14-0 to end the 1st.

                              2nd quarter

Texas would find a bit of a groove on the next drive hitting Moore and Worthy to set up a Robinson 6 yard td run to trail 14-7. The Osu offense went right back to work behind that oline and Henderson would score from 5 out to go up 21-7. Texas would go back to the air as Martinez baited a throw that was picked to set the Osu offense right back up. Henderson would score from a yard out to go into halftime up 28-7 where we knew we wanted to force Texas to have to take shot plays.

                              3rd quarter

Texas would open up with 2 nice plays setting up a 3rd and short only to be stuffed and give the ball right back. Stroud would hit Stover for a short td to extend the lead to 35-7.

                              4th quarter

The Osu defense was able to force 2 more turnovers by Jenkins as Osu would try to just run out the clock. Henderson would find paydirt one more time to cap off a great day.

                              Gg Archy,
