      KANSAS STATE vs 5 OKLAHOMA

      1st Half
Sooners start the game off with 2 straight 1st downs, going to their young RB early, but a pass to the FR TE is picked off by KStates star safety in a 1 on 1. Pick 6. OU moves the ball down inside the 30 but Malone throws a 2nd int after KState does a great job of confusing him. Cats go up 10-0 after a fg. 3rd drive Malone hits Harris on the sideline and he fumbles, Cats recover it but they call it out of bounds. OU settles for a fg 3 plays later. 10-3 KSU. Sooners finally force a punt and Warren pops on an 18 yd run to tie it at 10. KSU answers with a 57 yd run followed by a 12 yd td pass. OU's Warren gets back in the endzone on a 65 yd td run tying it at 17. Sooners get the ball back with time to score before the half but an open post route is picked off by the middle LB. 17-17 half.

      2nd Half
OU forces a punt and after 1 first down they go for a 59 yd fg and Wilson makes it, giving OU their first lead of the game. 20-17. Both teams trade fgs after good drives with Wilson now making it from 57. 23-20 OU. KSU starts the 4th with a missed fg and OU gets some momentum. Offense takes over and is finally cooking, but Malone forces a dagger inside the 30 and its picked off for INT #4 with 4:16 left. OU defense puts the pressure on KSU and forces a 3&out with 2:24 left. Warren gets a 26yd run and 3 plays later Malone finds Harris on a beautifully designed play giving OU a 37yd td and a 30-20 lead.

"Ugly start to a tough game but I like what I saw out of my team. Turnovers need to be fixed obviously but I think we found our star this week in Brent. He's had flashes all year but 189 in his first start was exactly what we needed. Cant say enough about this defense as well, they continue to step up when our offense is struggling. Next week we're back at home, huge game for recruiting and the Big 12 Championship.. I think the past few weeks have shown us that we need some answers and today we found some answers. After the first 4 minutes we outscored them 30-10. I identified the reason behind these turnovers as well so now its about executing the adjustments. We'll see if theres a difference next week. Also before I go I need to give our Left Guard Huggins some love, 9 pancakes by the big fella. The formations we ended up using today had him pulling alot and he had bad intentions all day"

        WEEK 11

🟢 This game between Virginia Tech and Washington may be the biggest game of the season. Washington is at home and they are the best team talent wise that the Hokies have seen all year. The Huskies have played 2 big games this year but lost both. This is their chance and greatest opportunity to turn their season around. They are 6-2 but need a big win to make this season a success and this game has been circled for a minute.

        4th down rule

        - Up in the 4th is inside the 10
        - Down in the 4th still wherever

        - Rest of the game is inside the 10 instead of 35
        - FG for anything else

Texas beats up on Baylor 56-14... It was scary how good the offense played today. Just a example, Hart was 24/24, 330 yards passing, 4 tds and no picks. Did this in basically the 1st half, he only threw 2 passes in the 3rd before the backs up came in (I got the ball to start the 3rd). #1 FSU lost, so did #3 Army.

Hopefully that means I have an easy week coming up for this visit.. I have like 10-15 people coming with Lemon.

Also that Army L is the one I really needed to have hope, I knew FSU would drop at least 1 their last 5 games are brutal. Now I just need VT to choke [emoji24][emoji1488]

              RIVALS 27-28

5 OKLAHOMA vs 17 IOWA ST

I woke up at 2am and didnt want to play the game incase I got sleepy but for 30 minutes thats all I was thinking about so I started it anyway.

              1st Half
Iowa St came out and bullied us. They dog walked us on the very first drive and scored, we couldnt get any pressure or anything. We answered with a td pass to Holt in the back of the endzone but their run defense had me in a box. 7-7 to end the first with 1 drive a piece. Started the 2nd with a great pick by McNair and Malone turned that into a 14-7 lead after a pass to Hawkins. Got back to the redzone and had a chance to go up 21-7 or 17-7 but the pressure forced a redzone int. 14-7 at the half with both teams getting long tough drives the first half.

              2nd Half
We get ball first and finally get Warren to pop on a 27 yd run, up until that point he only had about 20 yards. We cap the drive with a goalline td run by Warren to go up 21-7. We force a punt but throw another int on our next drive. Our defense starts the 4th with 4 straight ints. 1 we turn into a second rushing td by Warren, and the last 2 were pick 6s by McNair who had 3 on the day. The backups came in and gave up 200 yds in the air and 2 tds but it was 42-7 after the pick 6s. Sooners handle business at home winning 49-21.

"Great win at home for our guys and for the fans. Love seeing our team turn the corner in some specific areas. Still gotta get past these turnovers and be smarter in those situations if we're going to have a chance to repeat. Game ball obviously goes to Pete, those picks changed everything. The 2 that went for 6 will be on ESPN but the first one was a great football IQ play that changed the momentum. He reminds me so much of Tyrran Mathieu, I think today solidified the Thorpe award and he deserves it"

                        [emoji599] RECRUITING NEWS [emoji599]

                        • Social media buzz has drawn alot of attention to the recruitment of #1 QB Chris Lemons. Lemons seemed to be an OU lock but after a visit to Texas where Arch sold him on the idea of being the next great Texas QB, he took a trip to OU and the Sooners absolutely destroyed Iowa St. Sooners fans expected Lemons to commit following the visit but Lemons has not yet made that announcement.

                        • Lemons is set to be at UCLA this weekend who isnt a favorite but very much a possibility. Sooners fans and staff are hoping this recruitment doesnt go into the offseason or they could be in trouble. Landing Lemons is clearly a priority but they have some needs that would limit how much they could spend on him.

                        • Texas could make a splash move despite having their next QB lined up. Why not? Arch has never turned down a top QB and it would be a jab at their biggest rival. The Longhorns currently has the #28 class with only 7 signees so they have to manage their offseason points.

                        • Their highest rates target is #1 WR Justin Johnson. Ark St is trying to pull a JSU move and are the favorites right now. #1 DT Aaron Graham, #5 LB Nate Cody, and #5 C Mike Carter are some of their other top targets that have yet to commit. If they land them early I expect them to make a move on Lemons.

                        • UCLA and Fresno St both could decide to put everything into Lemons to have a QB to build around, but they can only do that if the recruitment goes into the offseason. Will be an interesting story to follow for the rest of the year.

I'm RTA, didn't know I had another bye week smh. If Lemon takes this all the way to the offseason, i'm not wasting points on him. I have other recruits I need more. Graham, Cody and Carter are my main targets and any points left over are going into Johnson. I'd love to steal him from you tbh, but its not going to happen. Now if Graham, Cody, Carter all sign with Texas and Johnson signs with Ark St before the offseason, well, that would be different story lol.

                            [emoji599] RECRUITING UPDATE [emoji599]

As the recruitment of #1 QB Chris Lemon continues to unfold there is now more news.

                            • Lemon who has been verbally committed to the Sooners has decommitted from the Sooners following his visit to UCLA. There havent been many details leaked from the staff or from Lemons camp but this could be an NIL move as UCLA has jumped out to a 1300 point lead over OU and 3000 points over Texas. This adds a twist to everything with only 2 weeks remaining in the season.

•It seems likely that this will go through the offseason due to the fact that this change was sudden but what does that mean for the Sooners and Longhorns? The Longhorns will likely continue to invest in Lemon for the sake of chance but the amount of time and money it would cost them in the offseason would likely set them back. Lemon would be a great add but not very beneficial for Texas with the number of holes they have to fill.

                            • OU is clearly set on following through with the process as they have built this entire class around Lemon with commitments from 2 5* WRs, the #4 RB, #3 FB, an athlete at TE, and another big name TE on their radar. This class could bring OU another ring with a few more commits. They are in a similar predicament as Texas in that they do have a QB in place for next year and other needs, but they really want Lemon. Also much like Texas their class is very small right now.

                            • UCLA is in a very comfortable position as Lemon could commit at any moment if he decides to stay home and play in front of his family. If this goes into the offseason the pressure will be on OU and Texas to put all their eggs into the Lemon basket to flip him, while the Bruins can spread their points according to plan. Notable that the Bruins have also built a class that is tailor made for Lemon. 3 4* offensive linemen, 4* WR, and the #3 class as of today. Lemon would push them over OU at #2

                            • OU cant pass UCLA in the next 2 weeks so every week will be nerve wrecking for the fans. Likely a signing day decision.

                              3 OKLAHOMA vs MISSOURI

                              1st Half
OU gets a stop out of the gate and immediately go to Warren and Dunlap in the power game and they were a force. After 2 near ints almost cut the drive short, OU manages to go up 7-0 with a goalline td by Warren on the opening drive. Defense holds again and OU goes to the same strategy, but this time Malone does throw a pick on the goalline on an underthrown out route. Tigers return it to OU territory before getting caught and they start the 2nd qtr tying the game at 7. They would get a stop and a fg the next drive to go up 10-7. MIssouri's defense had OU in a box the rest of the half. OU would get a stop with 20 seconds and Johnson got a 42 yd punt return putting OU in fg range. With no timeouts OU tried to take a shot but Malone hit Mitchell across the middle instead so OU couldnt get a spike off. 10-7 Missouri at halftime

                              2nd half
OU comes out of halftime and manages a fg to tie it at 10 but the rest of the 3rd qtr was still a defensive battle and neither team would score. OU had back to back drives end in fg as the pass game struggled against a stingy Missouri secondary. Up 16-7 with 2:20 left Missouri was 1 play away from being back in the game but a pass to the flats was intercepted by Rs FR Marcus Fountain and taken back for 6 and the momentum finally flipped. 23-7. The OU defense forced a 4 and out and they went to Warren to burn their last timeouts. On 3rd and 7 OU went to a PA to get the 1st down and seal the win but Malone hit Hawkins on the backside and the corner was out of position. Hawkins went 41 yards untouched and sealed the win on Senior night. Sooners win 30-10 on a senior night in a game that was way closer than the score shows.

"Ugly hard nosed defensive game from start to finish but we did the only thing that mattered and thats win. Brent played like a star again and carried this offense on the ground. We knew coming in we could attack them up the middle but Brent was a beast today. Great job of trusting the gameplan until things went our way. Great job by our defense as well. They were a tough team with that run game but we did just enough to keep them from really going off. Obviously going forward we have 2 weeks to rest up and wait to see how things shake out. We saw the Ohio St game earlier so we knew going in that our chances of getting back our still slim but we can only control what we can control."

Tried to play in the morning but my game froze at the end of the 1st quarter. 1st half, the game was closer then it should've been. We had to kick 3 fg's. Halftime score 16-7, Texas. 3rd quarter, we scored a bunch after getting a few turnovers. Back ups played a lot in the 4th quarter. Overall a nice win against a rival. Texas beats A&M, 44-7.
