    Re: RIVALS 28-29

12 IOWA ST vs 4 OKLAHOMA

    1st half
We get ball first and stick to our gameplan. Great drive but we get held to 4th and 1 and have to punt. Defense holds them to a 3&out. 2nd drive same strategy and this time we go up 7-0 with a 4yd td by Dunlap. Defense holds again. Their defense is still giving us fits but the Offense is slowly moving the ball for the 3rd straight drive. We get to the redzone and Davis hits Tray across the middle to start the 2nd, he drops the pass and their star LB picks it off in the air and runs it back 90 yds for a pick 6. 7-7. Both defenses dominate the rest of the half and neither team scores. Their backup QB kept taking off so he helped us out. 7-7 at the half.

    2nd half
Clones start with an 8 yd run and we stuff them the next 2 plays forcing a punt. Our drive starts with Dunlap before Davis hits 4 straight completions including an 18 yd pass to Hill in the endzone. 14-7 OU. They get their best drive of the game but have to settle for 3, kick is short tho. We start our drive on the ground, 3rd play is a speed option, Davis makes the right read but they tip it and recover it at our 25. Defense holds them to a fg on 4th and inches after a clutch tackle at the 15. 14-10 OU. To start the 4th Davis takes a deep shot and Tray gets behind the defense. 64yd td pass on a dot. 21-10 OU. ISU moves the ball to the 35 before we pop their QB and force a fumble, McNair recovers it with 5:30 left. 2 plays later Davis holds the ball 1 second too long and gets hit on a blitz while throwing , same LB who ran it back hits Davis and the other LB catches it and runs it back. 21-16 after missed 2pt with 4:57 left. We get a 2 minute drive and take the fg. 24-16. Defense steps up again and Harvey makes a huge int to kill the drive. OU survives.

Difference was the defense, especially open field tackles. They had a few plays that usually turn into 7 but McNair made the play.

    Real football is back

    Dunlap strikes first

Tray turns on the burners for the 64yd td

Harvey leads the nation in ints after starting the year on the bench

    Murphy has himself a day

Davis had 2 freak ints, great game otherwise

Huge news for Oklahoma as the Sooners lose true freshman RB Ian Alfred for the season. Dunlap will have to carry the load until they find out who else will take carries. Sooners only have those 2 on the depth chart, there are 2 more on the roster however who dont play. This will affect the offense immensely.

Probably should've scored more but threw 2 picks, one in the redzone. Both are on me tbh, keep trying to make throws that my Qb just can't. His arm just isn't strong enough. Bell had a alright game, I actually really like him but he gets hurt a lot, nothing serious tho. Defense is problem tho. I like my D-line and my FS, everyone else just isn't good. Well my SS is alright but the dude can't tackle. LSU beats LA Tech, 42-21.

                Nobody to RS lol

my RB room was supposed to be
                #1 Warren 94
                #31 Dunlap 92
                #3 Alfred 79
                #20 scrub
                #30 scrub

Warren left after his soph yr and Alfred is done. I dont think I have a WR that can play there, might have to put my FR FB there, he was 79 at FB but I moved him to TE. Probably the best route tbh

Try out the scrubs, one may surprise you.. Bell who's 3rd string would've never played this year if my starting Rb didn't get hurt for the year. Bell went from scrub, to probably my best Rb.

                    WEEK 12

                    [emoji91] #12 USC VS #3 NOTRE DAME [emoji91]

Gotta start with Notre Dame who is not only having their best season in over a decade, but also may have the best overall and well put together roster that they've had since I can remember. Particularly on offense they have the most speed and explosiveness that I've ever seen on a Notre Dame roster. If there was one thing that I think would really take them over the top it would be having more of a facilitator at the QB position because Owens is a dual threat who struggles with accuracy sometimes, but against a scrambler on USC as well I think he'll be fine if he can protect the ball.

USC's roster has a few holes in comparison to Notre Dame who is solid literally everywhere, however USC has the star power particularly with Parker at RB who has lived up to the hype all year. Herbstreit is picking USC to win at home and I can see why. They had a fluky upset to Colorado 4 weeks ago that derailed the season on a last second fg, but take that away we're talking about a championship team with USC. This game being in LA definitely moves the needle a little but overall Im looking at a team who has 37+ points in 5 of their last 6. Add a top 15 defense and this game has everything you could ask for.

Your scrub isnt a scrub he just got a low overall, easily your most explosive back and he fits your offense perfectly.. My scrubs dont fit and they slow lol I found my guy tho, went to practice the past couple days and he gone play this week. Announcement coming soon

                        Re: RIVALS 28-29

Pretty tight game until late in the 3rd quarter. Ole Miss got the ball first and hit a 55 yard bomb, to get into the redzone. Defense holds them to 3. Our first drive ends with pick. Defense holds them to another fg. Our 2nd drive of the game ends with a fumble by my freshman WR. Defense makes them punt. We finally get the offense going and score a td. Halftime score is 14-13, LSU. We get the ball first to start the 3rd quarter and Bell fumbles on the 1st play of the drive. Defense holds them to another fg. Our next drive, Bell breaks a 75 yard td run. After that we were pretty much in control for the rest of the game. We had a 20 point lead late in the 4th before Ole Miss cut it to 13 points. LSU beats rival Ole Miss,42-29.

Sooners announce that they have moved RS FR WR Kyle Lewis, their 6th WR on the depth chart, to fill in for Alfred at RB. Coaching staff is saying the reports out of practice this week have been exciting to say the least.

Lewis could potentially be making a permanent switch depending on how he looks on Saturday but his performance in practice has him looking like a natural according to Coach Cane.

Sooners have a rivalry game against West Virginia this week.

                            2 OKLAHOMA vs WEST VIRGINIA
                            Senior Day

                            1st Half
Sooners get ball first and have our best opening drive of the season. 17 plays, 85 yards, smart ball, Lewis gets the first td in his first game on a swing pass from Davis. 7-0. West Virginia responds with an equally impressive opening drive that takes them into the 2nd qtr. London takes the handoff for a goalline td. 7-7. Sooners pick up where they left off, smart ball and Davis scores on a speed option keeper for a 14-7 lead. WVU cant finish their next drive and have to punt with 1:14 left in the half. Davis takes a huge sack on 2nd down but hits Barrett for a 38 yd pass then Tray on an 18 yd pass for 7. 21-7 at the half.

                            2nd Half
WVU gets ball first and goes 3 & out. Sooners looking to extend the lead move the ball again but Davis is intercepted inside the 25, a problem the Sooners have had all year. Both teams trade back to back to back punts. Scoreless 3rd qtr. OU gets inside the 10 with 5 minutes left in the 4th and Dunlap is stuffed on 3rd & Goal. They go for it and Lewis is stopped in the backfield on 4th and Goal. WVU takes over down 21-7 on their own 4, they call a pass and Jordan takes off for 50. Next play he is injured. Wagner comes in and completes 2 passes, 2nd is a 52yd td pass to Dodd. 21-14 OU. Important drive for OU with 3:46 left. They get to 3rd & long at the 40 and Davis forces a bad pass to Tray in triple coverage, pass is tipped twice and somehow Tray catches it. Dunlap scores the next play. 28-14 2:12 4th. WVU would score with 0:50 left with their timeouts. 28-21. Sooners recover and hold on to win.

                              WEEK 13

As we get closer to Conference Championship week and the National Title picture begins to grow clearer, there are alot of teams still in play right now. With no undefeated schools left that means everything will come down to the polls.

This week Oklahoma dropped from #2 in the coaches poll to #4, but they are still 2nd in the BCS poll because they are 1st in the media poll. We could see similar shifts in the upcoming weeks through CCW because only the final poll matters. It appears to be a 4 team race as of now between Alabama, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, and Army. This weeks Texas vs A&M game could play a huge roll in the final polls.

The winner of Texas and Texas A&M will determine who plays OU in the B12 Championship. If Texas wins both they could possibly jump a 1 loss team, we've seen it before with Arch. If Texas goes into Dallas ranked #5 and OU beats them then that win would hold enough weight to secure a spot for the Sooners in the natty.

As far as the Texas vs A&M game itself this could be a huge opportunity for SR QB Greg Hart to lock in the Heisman trophy before the season ends. He has had a great career and adapted well under a new OC. His name has also been in the convo all year but this game could be the big push. A&M was in the title convo just a couple weeks ago but the setting change exposed them so this is their opportunity to prove that they are actually for real, and a matchup would Oklahoma would be an even bigger stage.

2nd week playing in the rain. Hate playing in rainy games, something always happens. Last week it was fumbles, today my starting Qb couldn't pass... at all. Had to bench him after his 2nd pick. His passes were going all over the place lol. We went down 14-7 in the 2nd quarter but tied the game at 14 with maybe 50 seconds left in the quarter. Auburn went 5 wide and we got a pick. We got a fg right before halftime. Halftime score 17-14, LSU. We got ball first to start the 3rd, scored a td. After that we pretty much controlled the game. Defense really saved us again this game. Offense has been struggling at the start of the last few games. LSU beats rival Auburn, 41-21. Next week we play another rival, Arkansas. Pretty sure we have no shot at playing in the SEC championship.
