Problem here is, what's across the street?
So who do we believe when it comes to the GameChanger program?

This is going off topic, but Ian and others have seemed to find something.
Now, back on topic, there are some points on those videos to be taken, but you have to sift through them to get to them.Comment

For game developers there are plenty of options. I mean hell Candy Crush is about to launch an IPO.
If you are speaking specifically about making another football game then yes there is nothing. But it's not like EA is the only developer out there.
Now if you are speaking as a consumer who wants options in the Video Game Football market, there is nothing across the street but it's been that was since 2005.

Re: So who do we believe when it comes to the GameChanger program?
The situation is worst than I thought, according to this guy the Game Changers are a big reason for the problems. He states it starts from the bottom up, not the other way around. He claims most of the GC's are non-sim, arcade, tournament style players that don't want the game to change much, want to keep it the same for the most part so they can pick up and play (not have to learn football or new controls) and take advantage of bugs in the game. This is crazy if true, I guess we will see come E3 if next-gen Madden 15 does not undergo a major surgery.Comment

We already know Madden 15 won't have any major surgery because this is the final year of their 3 year plan starting with Madden 13. We should expect to see minor improvements to finish out their vision. Madden 16 is the one you should be excited for.Comment

I thought Madden 25 was the beginning of Cam Webbers 3 year plan. Even if so, I doubt the game would be much different 2 years later.Comment

Not when Cam Weber joined in 2011. He came in towards the middle of 12.

Re: So who do we believe when it comes to the GameChanger program?
Exactly...how many "3 year plans" have we had now? Look at the product and it's easy to see that this is nothing more than an excuse instead of saying the ever popular "wait till next year" let's make it sound more professional "we have a 3 year plan"......although we are STILL getting the "wait till next year" excuse from some of the members here.
I don't give a flying frogs fat butt WHO makes a football game...but I do wish somebody else would/could....these excuses date clear back to the PS2/Xbox days...I've never heard of a game in all my life (and it's a long one...lol) that has had THIS many excuses and year after year after year it was "wait till next year"...Last edited by Kramer5150; 02-20-2014, 07:24 PM.People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment

Not much in the way of marketing last year for Madden. Maybe the budget was reduced.Comment

Re: So who do we believe when it comes to the GameChanger program?
Is this new to anyone? Does anyone wonder why BeZo and I weren't asked back after Madden 11? Does anyone remember adembroski [AJ?] from back in the day? Remember him getting a job at EA? Remember him quiting and going on a rant the next day? How about KaneDB?
I don't have time to do an in depth reply, and I still want to watch these videos, but trust me, I will later if anyone still cares what I have to say. I just saw this topic in the next gen forums so, I have some catching up to do.Last edited by PGaither84; 02-21-2014, 12:35 AM.Comment
