You know what drives me crazy about this whole thing of not having cpu vs cpu anymore? In Madden 25 they put owner mode back in. How can it be a true owner mode if you can't just sit back and watch how good a team you have? The things they do just make no sense to me anymore.

It makes me happy to see so many people speak out about this. I hope we will be heard.Comment

Their not saying because they don't want people to know that not much has changed from last year. At least that's what I think.Comment

Unfortunately I agree with you. My guess is they will include only a new practice mode(probably just the new training they put in). EA will say they didn't have time to get anything else new into CFM but they tweaked some of the CPU logic and stat simulationComment

This my line of thinking as well and I hope I'm wrong. Waiting for the other shoe to drop, in the form of CFM news hyping the new practices changes, while other player management issues and things are not addressed another year.Comment

Honestly, I wouldn't go nuts if not much as changed. Just put in the CPU vs. CPU in Owners and/or Coach mode and I'm good. I'm pretty low maintenance. I just want the ability to fix the depth chart, add, trade, and release the players and watch the dang games with 32 team control.Comment

Same here! I would be happy with just adding cpu vs cpu myself, or a true coach mode like NCAA has. I have a feeling we are gonna get screwed again on this. I have an even worse feeling that the whole game is gonna be a mess because they just are not saying anything.Comment

I believe someone said we should be getting CFM news soon. Maybe after 4th of July weekend?Comment

The silence is weird. I'll give ya that. There was a way to work around CFM so you could do CPU vs. CPU. You needed two controllers on and select 32 third string QBs and have auto-start off. The downfall is that you can't control the depth chart, trades, free agencies or releases. I guess as long as that work around is still in there, I'll live, but there's really no good reason not to have that feature in CFM and the work around proves it.

Yeah I heard about the work around in the middle of the season last year, so I said I'd just wait and hopefully they would put CPU vs CPU in this year. If not, I might do the work around, just walk me through it, sounds annoying as heck though, lolGames I'm playing FOREVER: NFL2K5, That is all.Comment

It stinks that you can't have a lot of control with the workaround, but the games were amazing. It would crush me if they didn't have CPU vs. CPU and made it to where we couldn't even do the workaround. That's the main reason I get the game.Comment
