On all pro with CPU passes blocking at 60 I get realistic amount of pressure so play a higher differculty and having passes blocking 40 points higher I don't know how any one can ever get to the QB doing that. On all pro I get 8-9 sacks a game but 5-6 of those a game are just because the CPU wont throw the ball away. If QB's held on to the ball and took sacks and hits like they do in this game in real life I don't think a single QB would be able to play all 16 games with out getting a bad injure. They would get killed if they played like that in real life.
All madden is not that crazy. I`m playing all madden with even sliders and trust me it feels natural as it feels All pro (without the sacks).

Give it a try, with QB acc low, (5 Acc) QB will still miss WRs as they do IRL. The other day i was looking at Payton manning, on the first drive he overthrown 3 passes, only on the first drive. This is for those who don`t like Erratic passes, they are more common than you think.

ALl madden with PB 100 and QB at 5 with other tweaks will give you a really natural flow.

I`m still playing around with penlaties. I`m testing the theory that it affect the Gameplays in such drastic way.

I played 2 games so far with RTP and IG at 50. and now i`m playing with RTP at 100. i want to test that theory that says that it will help the sacks. So far i disagree. Penalties does affect gameplay but not in that way. It may trigger some animation but it doesn`t make Players "play" more loose or more aggresive etc.. But i`m not final on that, need more games to be sure, but so far that doesn`t show on my games.

anyways, give All madden and PB100 and QB 5 a chance.

I had 37 sacks with Telvin Smith ROLB. I developed him into a beast though, and it's hard not to get sacks with a LB with 90 speed.

Now at the 3/4 mark in the KC test franchise.

With a pretty solid conviction that Charter's sliders and my modified penalties was a significant game-changer, I played another 4 games with Jarrod's green set to see how another prominent AM set played.

The results, in sacks per game, were 3, 2, 8, 4. The 8 sack game came against a team that had a 68 OVR RT attempting to block the terror that is the 96 OVR Justin Houston. Houston had 4 sacks that game.

The only thing I liked less about Jarrod's green set Re: CPU QB AI is that despite having coverage values of 100/50/100, the CPU QB completed 70% or more of its passes in 3 of the 4 games.

But my conclusion in 8 games of AM is that it definitely fixes the bulk of the sack issues. I had 2 8 sack games where I normally would have had 4 or 5 on All Pro.

And I agree with Booker that AM this year isn't some crazy cheat fest by the CPU. It feels challenging but also fun, and my stats are coming out very sim across the board.

So through 12 games I'm at 49 sacks--just over 4 per game. I'll play the final 4 games back on Charter's set and post findings for the full season.

I assume you still lead the nfl in sacks, correct?

I think sacks won't be fix it like playing with an avg team and be middle table on sacks stat. But it will be tolerable. Top 3 for sure with some crazy game here and there.

I'm about to run a second test with a less viable pass rush than KC, who with default EA rosters has elite pass rushers at both OLB spots, an incredibly athletic NT, and a guy in Bailey who is easily above average athletically.

I think the "fix" for sacks this year is having 55-60 instead of the 98 that A&S had recorded in his franchise stats for the MIA franchise.

I'll take those gains any day, as you're seeing a 40+% reduction in sacks and are getting a much more competitive game from the CPU as a result.

On AP, I felt like I was consciously trying not to play well. On AM, I feel like I have to play well and make user plays consistently to win games. I like that better than holding myself back in the hopes that I would lose a realistic number of games.

I´m starting to think that we did everything we can and Sacks are still going to be there. Maybe not as bad as it was on all pro but still not realistic.

                I had QB at 7 and PB 100 and i sacked E.Manning 3 times on 12 att.

I don´t think sliders will fix this totally. seems like Some games, QB are going to get the sack no matter what. I do see better PB but still not enough improvement to avoid those sacks.

I don't understand these sliders no more.

I got 4 sacks but qb had 40 at so I'm good with it.

Clu moved the ball really well even when sliders were lower than the one I was. Using.

Qb at 2 and pb at 0 and they still got to do a very good game offensive. So confused right now.

I had a fairly easy time running the ball though.
I will try a few more games

At this point, don't question so much and go with it...lmao I know it's crazy how things work out.

It's funny how he also figured at 0 the cpu pass block would actually provide more double team blocks....I had found this out a while ago,and was pleasantly surprised by the results.

Good luck to you dude....and quit being a "doubting Thomas" and enjoy the game....lol

Guess I just do not have the stick skills for AM. While it solved the AI sack issue (only 4 sacks in 9 quarters)? I was sacked 10 times and out scored 120-13 in those same 9 quarters.

I havent tried all madden yet but on all pro these sliders dont seem to be a solution to the sack problem. I had 3 sacks in the first two CPU drives.

I am dumbfounded that the development team at EA supposedly looked into CPU QB's taking too many sacks and said it didnt seem like a problem.

There are no viable solution for All pro. On all madden things are better, but then you are FORCE to tweak sliders since All madden default is really unrealistic and arcade.

To me the best solution was the mentioned above, i think the key es to set PB at 0.

I was playing with PB at 100 and i was still getting sacks more often than i should. now with PB at 0, if you dont control teh DL, seems to be working much much better.

no game with 6 or more sacks yet. Hopefully it stays there.

on the other hand i can deal with 1 crazy game every 2 or 3 games.

I've been playing Madden all day and I've come to the exact same conclusion.

                                1. CPU Pass Block at 0. Totally counter intuitive, but it seems to work.
                                2. Pen sliders for IG at 50.
                                3. All Madden (ramp up Hum Sliders if this proves difficult to play against.
                                4. Don't control a D-Lineman.
                                5. Play at Normal Speed.

For the last few weeks I've been so unhappy about the CPU Sack problem. Becuase I loved playing this Madden so much (on offence at least!). But the 4-5 sacks minimum was killing the game for me.

Now for me the game has been saved.

Thanks to the above sliders/rules I'm averaging a sack between 7% and 10% of the time every time the QB drops back to pass. That's above the NFL average, but that's OK as I'm playing with Ware and Von Miller so I would expect to be above the average!
                                What would Blackie Lawless do?
