I agree with madden and nfl, but fifa and the cards I have to disagree. It just all depends on what ref you get. I've seen up to 16 fouls with 9 of those being cards. I mostly average probably 6 fouls a game. Fifa's issue is the gameplay like all of ea's titles. I like madden but like the gameplay is where it has its issues and the lack of penalties.

Guys, it's been talked about before. A HUGE chunk of the talent at Tiburon left to start that mobile unit. Since then, it's been pretty unstable. There are certainly still bright people there. At least the guys I know. But I may be biased there.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 15 Continues A Long Tradition of No Penalties
I highly doubt the NFL would ever allow off field behavior creeping into the game. You won't see Hernandez murder charges, AD's and Ray Rice charges, etc.....
I wouldn't mind seeing something like Roadman suspended for 4 games and just leave it at that, but I just don't see it happening with the approval coming from The Shield.
Heck, horsecollar tackles used to be in the game, but not anymore.Comment

Sadly the sliders/programming just doesn't work ans hasn't done for years. But hey ho as long as it sells.Comment

"The video game" is a licensed NFL game. The NFL has penalties. That would be similar to NBA 2k without fouls just to speed up the game.
Like the other poster above said, if you don't want penalties, turn them to 0.
Options are a good thing, don't you agree?Comment

Every other play? Lol I don't think anyone wants that. So if there were 100 plays there would be 50 penalties? Also that's what sliders are for. We just want the option.
Sim mode (realistic penalties)
Normal mode ( like its always been)
Plus sliders to adjust them.
How is that concept so hard for people to understand. It's either all or nothing with some of you.
Just a video game? Lol I guess you would be fine if madden was like NFL blitz or Tecmo bowl? It's just a video game right? We don't have trouble understanding the concept. EA is the one who refers to their game as sim or "if it's in the game". 😊

Re: Madden NFL 15 Continues A Long Tradition of No Penalties
Also worth noting, even 2k5 had offsetting penalties and a challenge system where you could pick what you wanted to challenge.
It's been 10 years since that and Madden is still lacking. Sorry but I don't know how anyone can be happy with how Madden has improved in 10 years, it shouldn't even be getting compared to a 10 year old game!Comment
