      Funny that their NHL crew can figure out this is what fans want, but the Madden crew is clearly too stubborn or lazy to handle this task.

      No one gives a crap about their generated draft classes. They will always be behind NBA2K and their team in this regard unless they start trying.

        It is unbelievable that Madden still hasn't given us the power to create our own draft classes. This is a MADDENning aspect of this game. Plenty of us are CCM players who care nothing about MUT or Draft Champions.

          Unfortunately, we're just a very vocal minority, which usually gets construed as whining despite EA's lack of CCM dedication having been proven accurate for many years now.

            You don't speak for everyone. You personally don't give a crap about it. Me I like the variety of having new players aside from what's going on in the real world. Once I start my CFM the real world is over and everything is different. I know several other people here that also love the generated classes.

              Once they went back to randomized, I was happy. I still personally want more variation in ratings and styles, which is why I desire editing to be a possibility. There are not enough good specialists in standard classes. Too many good QB's. But to say I don't "give a crap" about the Madden classes is definitely not true. My ideal scenario as a sim guy is to not edit the draft class itself because I don't really want prior knowledge of a player in my CFM before the draft.

              I want a bit more fluctuation in what to expect ratings wise, more than 2-3 development paths, better CPU drafting (letting the AI sometimes find those late round studs and taking them), and slightly increasing the size of the draft pool.

              I want player editing in case the sim engine breaks down inaccurately in year 10, regression is still warped, and stats end up getting wonky. Being able to edit players to account for there being no good punters in year 8 of my franchise is what I want. I definitely don't want to ruin my draft experience by eliminating the game's classes entirely.

                        This is a huge need for madden. If the progression/regression is done well then great, but the track record speaks to the likelihood that it will have major issues again. For me it basically renders a cfm unplayable once unrealistic rated rookies start to populate the league and progression turns the league inot one where you have a dozen qb's rated in the 90's etc.

                        I guess I dont understand why EA cant just continue to make their ratings and draft classes the way they choose- which might suffice for 80-90% of the players out there, but give the other 10-20% of us the chance to tweak classes/ratings in such a way that counters what we see as their errors and make a game that we enjoy more.

                            CCM must be like NBA 2K's MyLeague. We must have the ability to edit CPU players on opposing teams (ratings, equipment, and jersey numbers). Also I didn't like how we couldn't give a linebacker the #98 while other LBs already in the league wore such numbers.

                            We need custom draft classes, or at least edit the names. If not, then I will wait it out till September 25th.

                              See I am not someone who cares about equipment it doesn't affect the game in any way so it doesn't bother me, for you it drives you nuts visually. as for names, what needs to be improved? Before you answer take a look at actual NFL player names. Some of the craziest names are already in the NFL.
