I have said this before in other posts, but I can't remember the last time the Madden devs were this responsive to the sim community. They watched this site, acknowledged the mistakes made and are now letting us know they are working on them... All in a timely manner too boot. Every time I have seen Rex and the other devs interact with the community it really shows me they care, more so than the previous devs.

Keep up the good work Rex and co.

On a side note, I can't wait to start a franchise when the big three ccm bugs get fixed.

I think EA as a whole is realizing this. The NHL teams seems to have reached out a lot more to the community this year for feedback as well. It's a great sign and hopefully they keep it up. I've lost a ton of faith in the EA brand in the past but this is making me take the chance on them again.

On topic, I'm definitely hoping this gets patched quick. My buddies and I are splitting the cost on the game to run an offline franchise. Want to get started ASAP, but may have to settle on some play nows until the patch hits

EA's response has been fantastic. Maybe they could get CM Hooe and some others to playtest it next year, so they can get to working on these problems pre-launch.

It's just really hard to get legitimate answers from the guys who play it early. I take everything they say with a grain of salt because they tend to omit possible issues within the game. I'm not sure if that's the agreement and if it is I completely understand why. I just don't have to like it.

I have had the game for over a week and you can tell with in the first min that there are new dev. The fact the lead developer from mlb the show is now with Madden speaks volumes to me.

Mlb the show to me is hands down one of the most out of box ready games year in and year out fully complete.

I look forward to seeing what they build off this year's madden. They have been extremely responsive and most of all eager to fix and tune things.

From my time playing the game I honestly have had little gripe and from my short comings of playing I know the minor things can be adusted with sliders which seem to impact very heavily this year

It's going to be huge to how they tune the game to get rid of some of the initial issues that are confirmed.

This is pretty much the way I feel, to me they are just marketing for EA. I am grateful to them because we do get to see gameplay and features earlier than normal but I don't pay much attention to their personal opinions or views about the game/issues.

I agree but for the first time since prob 05 Madden. I will give them a chance based on kobe track record he had with MLB the show. Also the fact I have played over 17 games and still see new things every game

While some of the issues I'm hearing about are either legacy issues or "Madden's type" of issue, the response has been extremely different and a pleasant surprise. The fact that jp had some of the CFM devs adding things from a want list (even though they didn't get all the ones I wanted) as late as a couple of months ago, and the fact that there was an *immediate* response to these initial few bugs - I'm starting to get a positive vibe from EA and I'm looking forward to picking up the game later today.

This game still needs work IMO, but after seeing the quick fix mentality, I'm truly expecting M17 to be the most definitive version of the game we've ever had with another year under their belt. Hopefully, as they fix these major issues and hopefully give us at least *one* good update patch this year, they'll have everything they need and our feedback to go truly make this game special again.

I'd really like to start a CFM now, but the overpowered rookies issue is
problematic.

If I do start now, what is the community opinion on how the patch will affect rookies in a previously existing CFM?

- Take effect immediately in season?
- Take effect in the next time a rookie class is generated?
- Only take effect in a CFM started post-patch installation?

The 1st option would be amazing, but I'd be a lot more inclined to think #3....which, if true, sucks.

Thoughts?

Thoughts?

Play CFM for yourself 2-3 seasons (beyond the trial) and see if it's an issue that bothers "your" gameplay experience.

If it derails your experience to the point you can't enjoy CFM, then wait for "possible" patch (which BTW, will not guarantee your CFM enjoyment)

Gameplay wise, M16 is on point!!!

Glad they might finally fix having 3 Andrew Lucks per draft class. Can't wait to start a CFM with normal drafts... er... Closer to normal drafts. Some of the storylines can be a bit wild.
