Re: CFM rookies not adjusted to Stock Player Scale
I think everyone needs to step off the ledge a bit and let CM and the others run some in depth tests instead of going off of one test that Jarbear did. The speed thing isn't that unrealistic, faster players come into the league every single year. The deep accuracy thing is kind of concerning, but what if that player was the next Peyton Manning. We need some in depth testing to see if it really is a problem or this was just a one off. If they find it is a problem then there is reason for outrage and this is probably something that can be patched.Comment

Re: CFM rookies not adjusted to Stock Player Scale
The funny thing is that it changed from last year yet they still all wear the same helmets. So my question is, how do they go in and change something yet it still remains broken?Comment

Re: CFM rookies not adjusted to Stock Player Scale
Could be exactly how they planned it? In the past random equipment has caused some goofy looking players, and so they seem to have shifted to presets a few years ago. Hopefully a variety of equipment set templates for each position can be created when they update equipment.Comment

Re: CFM rookies not adjusted to Stock Player Scale
idk i feel optimistic still....
look at the nfl draft the past couple of years...
WRs of recent drafts have become faster and better.... almost a dime a dozen nowadays...
how many rookies were drafted this past first round.... i think 4 or 5
last yr? another 3 or 4
and thats just the first round
speed is not everything and if you start a 72 ovr WR with 95 spd and acc i wont have any fear in my heart....
learn how to play defense or something... keep a safety over the top....
the one thing that looked worriesome was the rams QB compared to flacco...i hope he was a first round pick with the expectations of a HOFBaltimore Ravens Fan, Yankees Fan, Brooklyn Nets/ New York Knicks Fan, and overall sports fanaticComment

Re: CFM rookies not adjusted to Stock Player Scale
Question for you equipment junkies, would you rather see a bunch of random looking guys and the equipment is a miss-match. Meaning OL gloves on a WR, with a random helmet, hand warmer, QB wristband and Nike cleats all on a WR. And a QB with HB gloves, no hand warmer, towel, double tc full arm sleeves, no QB wristband and select cleats. Or have it the way it is now?Comment

Re: CFM rookies not adjusted to Stock Player Scale
I look forward to the test results, but since they apparently re-worked "regression" this year (we'll see) I highly doubt they messed much with the parameters/ranges of the drafted players in CFM. I'm definitely not on any "ledge" here, I'm just used to being disappointed in EA's attention to detail, especially when they change something.
If by year 20 of a sim, 90% of the league is QB's with 80+ DAC and WR's over 93 in speed or so, then we definitely have a problem and they should seriously invest in some time to patch that crap.Comment

I am not sure, i signed up for twitter specifically to tweet them, perhaps i did not do it correct? On their pages i clicked "Tweet" typed my message and submit.
I think that is done correctly?

Re: CFM rookies not adjusted to Stock Player Scale
I think the logical answer to the helmet issue on rookies is that with all the concussion fears and such, that is the helmet that is supposed to be better protected. Just like they don't show certain injury animations due to player safety this may be the reason to see them all wearing Revo's or now Revo Speed's.Comment
