How do u do all the fancy rushing moves -
Re: Madden 16 Teach Me How/Strategy Thread
I was having issues with it also but this is what I learned.
Select "By Formation"
Go to a formation, at bottom of screen you will see "R1 subs"
Hit R1,
Cycle to position
Highlight sub you want to come in
Hit X (PS4) to select the guy you want in.
It won't do anything, repeat it all over and it will work second time(don't leave the quick sub screen, just redo the highlight and select steps). I've had to do this every time for quick subs to work.Comment

I'm struggling so bad, I'm losing on pro solos.....I can beat them it just takes a couple of tries, its like the cpu knows my plays
I rush every one up the middle and still get ran on up the middle, My runs get stuffed running against zone coverage.....I just don't get itComment

Back Shoulder Throws
I did some testing with this, and here is what I found:
Using L1/LB (High Throw Mechanic) does not give you the back shoulder catch animation, even if holding away/down on the L Stick.
To trigger back shoulder throw animations
Hold away and down on the L Stick after you push the pass button, and throw a bullet pass. You will see your receiver come back a bit to the ball, and will get one of a number of 'back shoulder-ish' animations (I don't think there is a true animation, but this will normally protect the ball from the DB). In this scenario, you want to use Aggressive or Possession catch (I lean towards AC, but I have seen some nice sideline animations using Possession as well).
BE CAREFUL - As with most strategies in Madden, these throws are not fool proof. If the DB has a high MCV and PRC you are just asking for a pick with a long return. Best time to throw this is when the DB is a step ahead of your WR.
Hope that helps.Comment

Don't use turbo. Also don't rush to the first hole you see - follow your lead block or pulling guard on power runs.Comment

Re: Madden 16 Teach Me How/Strategy Thread
On xbox:
A is for finesse moves
X is for power moves
The types of moves they do are based on their attributes and if they have the move trait.
The traits are: Bull rush (Power move), Swim Move (Finesse), and spin move (Finesse).
When usering a D-line: You want to either use the left analog stick to go left, right, or down while using one of those buttons.Comment

Re: Madden 16 Teach Me How/Strategy Thread
Are there any wham blocking plays, specifically where the center or guard gets to the next level while the fullback hits the defensive lineman that was let through? If not are there any ways to simulate this using 01 traps and those inside zone split type plays?Comment

In what situations would you use the Swat mechanic vs. Play the Receiver?Bills, Sabres, Illini, Cubs, basically any team that abuses its fanbase and I'm there.Comment

Dude thank you so much, the Ravens playbook is so trash. How could they not see that Baltimore uses wham blocking more than the 01 Trap? This is a lot of help bro.Comment

Re: Madden 16 Teach Me How/Strategy Thread
Play The WR should be used if the WR has you beat to the ball and you are looking for the immediate tackle/stripping of the ball to break up the catch.Comment
