Re: Madden 2016 team specific playbooks / everything playbooks
2 updates on EA share -
OSLIONS - update to reduce shot plays, hopefully make them more competitive.
OSRAMS - new playbook. Pretty basic, not easy to find a lot of unique stuff in what the Rams do. I focused on the gameplan, they should power run all day and mix in just a few conservative pass plays.
PSN is chief_fallsdown
Description for all my files is os team specific.
I'm very busy for the next week, and I leave for vacation after that. I'll try and get the 9ers and Hawks done before I go, and when I come back in November I'll take up whoever is left.

Re: Madden 2016 team specific playbooks / everything playbooks
Has anyone found a workaround for this yet?
I run a 32 team control franchise. I've made changes to each teams depth chart and auto subs. Now in order to use the playbooks, I have to retire the coach and replace the coach with a player. That causes a problem because it resets the depth charts and the auto subs.
Ive been trying to find a solution for this but havent been successful. Any ideas?Comment

I don't have a work around for you (hopefully someone does) but I just reset each opponents depth chart each time I play them. Takes some time and is a bit of a pain, but at least I get a good matchup. I don't bother checking to see what their depth chart looks like after I create the coach profile for that team again though. I'm sure it just goes right back where it was.Comment

Re: Madden 2016 team specific playbooks / everything playbooks
Yeah I think I'm getting the hang of it from a gameplan perspective. I should almost go through all my books and rework the shot plays. The thing before is I wanted them to get used so I rated them a little higher than I should have, and they get used to much. They work a lot better if you have maybe 1 or 2 in each shot situation. I consider shot situations 1st down, 2nd and medium, 2nd and short, and 3rd and short. So 1 or 2 in each of those but rated low, buried in the 1 stars. So you get only a couple a game and they're mixed in well. In my test with the Rams they ran a ton, and the first 2 or 3 times they had 2nd and short they just pounded a run straight ahead. Then they went PA and hit me over the middle for 35. Anyways, I'm learning as I go here, but I think we're getting some realistic games from the CPU. It's a lot more fun in cfm to play against one of swagger's books or mine.

Nice! Yeah I saw your STL book had tons of running plays. The adjustment to your shot play frequency is brilliant. That seems like a perfect ratio and should result in the CPU hitting you up over the top with a PA when you don't expect it.Comment

Re: Madden 2016 team specific playbooks / everything playbooks
A few quick updates:
1) BadGuy, I played against the Vikings with your Vikings playbook. I took out a reasonable amount of shot plays and the game was flawless. Perfect run-pass ratio IMO. AP was nearly unstoppable and they gave the ball to him in a variety of ways.
2) I've updated the Panthers Defensive playbook. Used it when I played against the Vikings (since I don't have a "Vikings Defense" playbook yet). It was perfect. I'll send out the updated version to Madden Share ASAP.
Don't sleep on custom defensive playbooks for the CPU. It increases the difficulty of your games substantially!Comment

Re: Madden 2016 team specific playbooks / everything playbooks
Is it still unreasonably hard to get the formations and plays to stick in the order you want in the playbook?
A major reason I don't do these myself is that I'm super OCD and can't stand to have my first defensive formation be dollar or something like that, which is what happens when you do anything custom.
I really wish EA would allow the ordering to work like APF, where you could put all the formations and sets in whichever order you wanted. I don't see why that is so hard that madden couldn't get it right...Comment

Re: Madden 2016 team specific playbooks / everything playbooks
If you took out a few shot plays and it played better you should upload that file when you get time. Ditto for any of my files that you make any changes to. Just in case you needed permission you have it. I trust you and I don't care which name the files are under, just want to get the best ones out. Just let me know anytime you do so and I'll take the old one down.

If there is a way to do it, I haven't figured it out yet. Hopefully someone here knows?Comment
