This is Crazy , i give it up to Rex and the Dev team ,Best Madden gameplay wise ever! Well mistake happen but they have to get out infront of these issue and give us a plan . People love this game and shelled out our money ! Im sure there just as frustrated trying to get it right . Alot of Cfm on hold again My League was suppose to start now Saturday after the roster update tomorrow . Now im wasnt in a rush we normally wait for the first patch and roster update ! But now the the new bugs ! Im worried the guys in my league will start to lose interest and play other games . Please atleast let us know you guys are on top of this ? With a solid plan ?
1# Qb inaccuracy is gone? needs to be tuned back to were it was before patch
2# QB Awareness that lead to scrambling non tuning qb's? needs to be tuned back to were it was before patch
3# Confident is still messed up give us a toggle to turn it off ! There could be alot of tuning involved let's just turn it off !

1.-QB accuracy is caused by inflated ratings by the confidence i don´t think it a problem because of the patch. The patch should have solved the ratings going over 99 (in theory at least the UI says they are not, which i doubt it). So i don´t think they will work on this.
2.-Not sure about this one.
3.-Confidence is so complex that even turn it off may be more complicated that we think. Maybe it´s already too inside the code to fix it on a patch or giving us the option to disable.
I don´t want to be a pessimist here but i seriously think they are not going to work much on these 3 issues.
To me is a Killer that is why i´m brainstorming with people who are experiencing this as well how are you going to play? Personally i´m going to try
1.- delete turner and see, i don´t have high hopes since the Confidences is what is causing QB being Robo including User QB.
2.-try setting QB acc and RB at 0, the two most evident areas of gameplay i notices when the confidence kick it. But again, this will be very different is for some reason my start qb get injuried and my confidence 40 player have to play.

This is what's disappointing. If the CFM games played out like the play now games did, I'd be good to go. To me the game play in play now is great and very fun.

As I said in the Confidence thread - I don't think the mechanic of Confidence in-and-of itself is the problem, but rather Dynamic Drive Goals is just overpowering the entire system because it rewards Confidence to multiple players on the user's team (including players not involved in the goal) way too easily.
On top of that, simulated games don't appear to factor in Dynamic Drive Goals, so anyone playing a single-player franchise has more opportunities to increase Confidence than CPU teams, resulting in a disparity between user and CPU teams, assuming the user is reasonably skilled and happens to accomplish some of them just by virtue of attempting to win the football game.
If Tiburon is going to scrap / redo / disable anything, I would prefer it be Dynamic Drive Goals that goes. I'm not sure I like anything about the current implementation of that feature.Comment

Maybe make it so in cfm the confidence reset works in both directions so you can reset it back to 50 even if it's above 50. That to me seems like a simple solution, but I may be off on that.

It's really hard to implement something as intangible as confidence. I think the Show struggled with this at times with pitcher confidence. If it were up to me the confidence and drive goals would be scrapped altogether.

In terms of confidence...I LOVED the NCAA feature where when you played in a hostile stadium that was loud...ratings took a hit to simulate a rattled player. LOVED that"Im all jacked up on mountain dew!"

I think bringing in Dan Berens for next year is critical. Its time we get a completely different rating system and how to properly display those abilities on the field. This current system is not working and has become to complicated.Comment

I do think that Dynamic Drive Goals from an XP perspective makes plenty of sense as well. That said, I don't agree with how the game defines "dynamic", or what "goals" it sets for my players. Particularly on defense, the goals strike me as incredibly random, and across-the-board I think the goals ought to react to how I'm playing (and thereby actually being "dynamic"), not encourage that I play a certain way which may not jive with sound football strategy.
On the whole I think Dynamic Drive Goals is a concept that needed a bit more time in the game design oven - particularly to address the concerns of the sim-oriented and/or single-player crowds - before it was introduced into the game.Comment

I´m embarrassed to say but i have play around 50 or more play now games by now and i´m still in love of the gameplay. Too bad CFM doesn´t play anything remotely close to that.
The confidence thing is good but they need to give that option for Offline CFM as well and also it should affect all teams, not only users.

It's time to "toggle off" Confidence...
That box feature is now "oh fer two" and will most likely be eliminated in the long run anyway, so please get rid of it now!
The LT issue is thought to be complicated, but perhaps attacking that though the sim stat engine would turn that trick...
I'm not interested in playing ANY more other than CFM, so it's time for the EA guys to cut their losses on poorly conceived and implemented features and just give us this year's Play Now gameplay in a CFM context...
I'm traveling, so my copy is in the post via today's $39.99 deal with Amazon...
It's not making it out of the shrinkwrap until CFM is playable...
EA really should offer refunds for those consumers who only play CFM because, as it stands, the mode is pretty much unplayable.Comment
