Re: FIX: Setting Up A 32 Team OFFLINE CFM Instructions
Question with 32 team control and retiring/coach returns next week.
I play with 32 control in my CFM, and I love every bit of it.
I know you can retire a coach week by week if you want to make changes etc, and the coach returns next week.
Does that concept still work if I've simmed a couple weeks and then retired a coach, will he still return next week?
I am wanting to be able to edit the CPU uniforms, but unfortunately 32 control doesn't allow you to.Miami Heat

Miami Dolphins

Re: FIX: Setting Up A 32 Team OFFLINE CFM Instructions
I’m having issues with my offline 32 team CFM. CPU isn’t trading at all.
And when i create a new coach I couldn’t see the game prep activities and or trade button to auto. Just no prep option and only everyone can trade for trade.
Playing madden 17. Is that my issue? Do I need madden 18 to do it?Comment

Re: FIX: Setting Up A 32 Team OFFLINE CFM Instructions
I’m not sure the above section made sense.
I’ll try again. I’m playing on madden 17. (PS4)
In my 32 team controlled cfm. Not a single trade has taken place. The cpu puts players on the trade block but no team goes for them.
Teams definitely need those players.
Is the issue;
Auto pilot every team?
Sign free agents to fill the roster is on( every team has 53/53) players
The fact that the cpu thinks I’m a user on every team and doesn’t do the trades???
Also - note the manual trades I do are instantly accepted - ie Aaron Rodgers + 1st round pick for a 7th round pick is instantly accepted. Why?!?
As soon as I am not (user controlling) the team ie I fired the coach the trades are back to normal. Ie it’s not accepted.
But then that’s f%#king annoying cause I don’t want to keep firing and hiring the coach each time they f%#k up.
Please help. I must be missing something. Please!!!Comment

Re: FIX: Setting Up A 32 Team OFFLINE CFM Instructions
I still play madden 17 cpu v cpu. From what I have found the only way to have teams trade amongst themselves is what you have said hire and fire coaches. From memory autopilot is next to useless and teams don't trade amongst themselves if you have all 32 teams coaches selected. The way I play is with one owner and then hire and fire coaches for the other 31 teams if I want to watch a game or adjust a depth chart. I usually get about 5 or so trades before the deadline. I hope this helps.Comment

Re: FIX: Setting Up A 32 Team OFFLINE CFM Instructions
Running into an issue with my 32-Team CFM. My setup is all-coaches, and everyone is fully automated (as in both on "auto-pilot" in user teams and "season experience" in league settings) except for whichever team I choose.
The first offseason, all teams participate. But the 2020 off-season, only 8-10 teams are signing free agents. Among those 8-10 teams are a mix of custom coaches (this year's new HCs I added in) and real life coaches.
Simulating all the way from the start of the 2019 offseason, where all teams are participating in FA, and the end of the 2020 offseason, when it's just 8-10 teams, there's about 6 teams who always participate in FA, and a couple variations.
I switched two teams from coach to ownership to make sure they had enough funds or FA, and set them all to automatic. But they wouldn't sign FAs.
Salary cap space and cap penalties aren't an issue, the teams not signing any players in the offseason have tons of cap room.
Anyone have any idea why this might be happening in the second offseason of my 32-CFMs?Last edited by TheOncomingStorm; 02-10-2019, 01:40 PM.Comment
