try finding safeties where their best attributes are ZCV, PRC and PUR and something like 85+ spd/acc/agi. i have to resort to converting a cb or lb. naively i want my safeties to be able to play 2 deep first not hit someone in the box, if i wanted that i wouldnt choose a formation with 2 deep or 4 deep and id add another lber.

as for oline i have 4 C's on my roster, they are #1 C, #1 RT, #2 C and #2 RG. For me 80+ PBK/RBK, 85+ IBL/STR and those always seem to be Cs.

This too. I don't really bother scouting Safety's anymore. They are all the same, and none of them that good.

And also yes to Centers. They seem to be much higher powered than the rest of the OL, both in physical and intangible traits.

Maybe we need to create a master list of the oversights in generated classes, and attempt to get them noticed by EA. I'd imagine they are relatively easy changes to implement... the hard part is getting EA to realize and care.

It's not that hard at all, they have already done it with QB deep accuracy and Safety speed.

This issue as with about 50 others could be solved with three words.....say it with me EA.....Custom Draft Classes

I think that's a good idea--draft classes might be looked over unless this gets more attention since the drafting/scouting system got a rework for '16. I noticed on cfmmovement.com, improving draft classes doesn't crack the top 10 list of priorities for '17.

I'd be up for starting one if I could get confirmation from the mods that the new thread wouldn't be locked/deleted.

There is little to no chance that thread would stay for 2 reasons. One being that the posts should just be added to the Madden Wishlist thread. Two being that it would turn into why don't we get custom draft classes back and that subject has been beaten to a pulp.

Yeah... that's why I don't waste my time making content unless I can get an assurance ahead of time xD

Maybe a DM to Rex is a better way...

Why won't we get custom classes?

There was a huge thread from within the last couple years ago that described the situation. It came down to one or two reasons. 1 being that EA got sued for the NCAA and lost the case and $40MM. The second was that the Devs said that it wouldn't work with CFM.

That about sums it up... wont be happening. Imo, there are certain aspects of the draft players (attributes) that need coding tweaks and maybe more build/types added to the pool of players that a person can draft but i think there are more overpowered players that can be drafted rather than underpowered. In my cfm with my work friends earlier this week i drafted a WR that i believe will break the game, we are still in preseason but 98 spd 99 agi and 99 jumping for a 6'2" WR is just unrealistically unfair

I get that they were sued, and they are gun shy, but that was for using pre rendered classes in a different game. Why dont college athletes go after NBA 2K or any series that lets you create draft classes?

IMO it is because it affects mostly college kids/high school kids.

Someone like Ben Simmons, Buddy Hield, or Harry Giles probably do not care that he was created and put into the NBA game for the draft.

that guy sounds like a pretty big outlier... what is his acceleration?

This guy is kind of an outlier but receivers in the draft are WAYY to overpowered there are at least 3 every year that are faster than any receiver in the game except maybe Perriman and they are usually at least 6 feet. Corner, te, and dt are the same way. Freaks all throughout the draft. Meanwhile good luck drafting a safety good enough to make a roster
