FINALLY I can buy a PS4-- NBA2k had me weak, lol, but I held off, was waiting for a football game or Madden to step up their game. To me the CPU vs CPU is huge, this looks like the year

Ok i dont think that how i read the 1st post is that you have to be in 32 team control.I am hoping the way i read it that if i am GM of Buccs i can instead of playing game go to slow sim and watch the CPU vs CPU. I i hope that i read this correct, as i dont want to have to start with 32 team control.

Okay, now I am confused again. So there is no 32-team control??? You can't select each teams roster and make adjustments??? Mr price please inform. My apologies if I am rehashing something I missed. It's just one team control and you can only watch that teams game over 16 weeks, not all 200-some games if you want? Or make moves for other 31 teams?? please inform...

You can control all 32 teams in an offline franchise.

Price, care to tell us how this has been streamlined of made easier this year as you alluded to?

Push in the right stick and a pane slides out from the right hand side. Then you move up or down to select the team.

I am confused. That sounds like how you change what team you are controlling after you have selected all 32. Is there a quicker way to select all 32 besides creating 32 users or am I missing something?

You can create new coaches from that menu but it's still largely the same process

Will I see any 6-3 safeties? 95 SPD RBs?

I don't mind the creation process as you really only have to do that once and just make a master save once you get your rosters the way you want them. What I'm excited about is being able to move around more freely when you have it set up.

Finally, those of us who like the strategic side of the game and want the players to be only as good as their stats (rather than as good as the players skill) are getting their CPU vs CPU games back.

Came for my yearly check in on this issue. Pleasantly surprised. Will finally be purchasing Madden again.

fingers still crossed there are no stumbling blocks, and that it is easy peasy..... so we can adjust all rosters, play all 200+ games in a season mode, etc....I will wait till I hear from someone who bought it, before I jump the gun with too much anticipation....something just feels a bit off in the descriptions of it.....not sure why it's not described as this in menus like old games :

Go to home screen > select season mode > select all teams > go to rosters and adjust as desired > set your own sliders and settings > go to game #1 > put controller in center > press play

Seems like we still need a severe testing hands on....

I still want to get confirmation that a commissioner can "move freely" and actually makes moves for other teams without having to switch profiles. I don't think this has been confirmed

Wow, this is EXACTLY how I feel. All I want is to be able to leave the controller in the middle during team select in franchise mode.

But reading the actual implementation of this it seems unnecessarily complicated. I have this uneasy feeling there is going to be a catch to this that I'm really not going to like. But hopefully I'm wrong.

Do we know if it will be possible to enable "Play the Moment" with "CPU vs. CPU" without having to click to play or skip each moment? I work from home a couple days a week and it would be awesome to have a franchise running in the background where I select which games to watch and only watch the crucial moments of the game as defined in "Play the Moment"

Cool, now I can watch the superbowl if I don't make it.

Now if only we could switch sides during the game so I could always be on offense.

Really excited for that strand of guys that got this back in the game. Know it meant a lot to them. Everyone should have the basic interface options to play the way they want to play. Give the user a sandbox and let them craft their experience. As for me, I would love the chance to play as the offenses in a game but that will require switching teams in game. It doesn't look like that made it in barring a late push for it this cycle.

Now if we could only get a detailed game planning system (ala FPSFB etc..) that we could set for teams. Then watch the games unfold using the plans we set up..
Was time consuming but pretty fun ..
