Thanks man. Although you're correct about this being a cpu vs. cpu thread, coach mode has been mentioned numerous times in here already.

Re: CPU vs CPU is back for Franchise Mode

So from what I'm understanding, when you start up a game (even while controlling all 32 teams), you still need to set your controller to one of the teams. Then, you set it to supersim "slow" mode and after a prompt, the game will enter CPU vs CPU mode.

A few questions, hopefully someone can answer:

*What I'm wondering is how will this affect sliders?
*Will the team I originally selected be based on "Human" sliders or "CPU" sliders?
*Will choosing one team at the start of the game give it some sort of advantage/disadvantage? I'm hoping they will utilize the same slider set and neither team will be affected by being the one that I chose to start the game with.
*Will I be able to choose Supersim "Slow" from before the kickoff?

It sounds like this isn't going to be like NCAA 14 CPU vs CPU mode which is disappointing but this might be the first Madden I buy in many, many years if this feature is back.

Along with your QB's not scrambling you have to do all the kicking also in coach mode, which is what led me to doing cpu vs cpu mode.

I asked Clint on twitter and he said qb auto pass remains unchanged. Bit of a bummer that a true coach mode where cpu scrammbles and kicks still isnt included however you can super sim field goals and, to get your qb to scrammble, simply lock onto another offensive player before the snap, like a wr running a crossing route etc. then your qb scrammbles.

It is kind of silly that they include "ability to create and play as a coach!" But yet dont have a true hands off ingame coach mode, but at least it can be worked around for most part.

You set Supersim to "slow" and it will take you to a CPU vs CPU Broadcast view of the game.

I'm assuming 32 team control will still be needed to watch every game but you no longer have to pick a third string QB or third string TE. You can play as all the Coaches and be in control of all the teams and still watch.

Finally, it's been since Madden 12 that we've been able to watch CPU vs CPU games in Franchise!

Most of you probably didn't care much for this but I love watching the Playoffs or having a game on while i'm doing something else like cooking.
I do. I'd watch at least every Super Bowl with broadcast camera.

Just so I understand this "skip the moment" thing as it pertains to CPU vs CPU, basically you have to skip a bunch of plays first until a "moment" pops up and THEN you can watch the rest of the game?

Another item I would like clarification on is will the playbook that I select for both teams at the start of the game "stick" when selecting one of the teams. As of now, I believe if you decide to change teams or move the controller to middle for cpu vs cpu in Play Now, the playbook reverts to the team specific book...regardless of what you initially selected.

Look the size of this topic people want alot cpu vs cu in franchise mode. I dont like scramble qb but let talk to devs make a simulation more real possible.
If in ps 3 dont have this mistakes way now in new generation should have ?
Lets go EA fix this problem.

I don't remember his screename but I'd like to thank a Patriots fan who made a CPU vs CPU thread every year to try to get it back in the series. I think the developers seeing how popular those topics were played a big role in this feature returning.

Yes I am looking forward to this as it sounds very good this year. Not being a button masher it is the only way to coach/own your franchise.

It sounds tho I can still go back to game if wanted or change my roster if I am winning or losing by enough to blood some players which is good to me.

What's broken? I'll answer. The broadcast camera is on the wrong side of field for all but 11 of the NFL teams. Those of us with one of those teams get tired of looking at upside down center field logos. It always struck me as odd that they would have the cameras wrong like this. To have a broadcast package that is there to mimic a TV broadcast, and you put the camera on the wrong side of the field? On penalties the ref APPEARS to point to the wrong team because he didn't get the memo of the camera misplacement.

I did see a video of the Miami Dolphins a few weeks ago and the camera was placed correctly. Here's hoping the rest are fixed. End of rant, back on topic
