Re: CPU vs CPU is back for Franchise Mode
So from what I'm understanding, when you start up a game (even while controlling all 32 teams), you still need to set your controller to one of the teams. Then, you set it to supersim "slow" mode and after a prompt, the game will enter CPU vs CPU mode.
A few questions, hopefully someone can answer:
*What I'm wondering is how will this affect sliders?
*Will the team I originally selected be based on "Human" sliders or "CPU" sliders?
*Will choosing one team at the start of the game give it some sort of advantage/disadvantage? I'm hoping they will utilize the same slider set and neither team will be affected by being the one that I chose to start the game with.
*Will I be able to choose Supersim "Slow" from before the kickoff?
It sounds like this isn't going to be like NCAA 14 CPU vs CPU mode which is disappointing but this might be the first Madden I buy in many, many years if this feature is back.Comment

It is kind of silly that they include "ability to create and play as a coach!" But yet dont have a true hands off ingame coach mode, but at least it can be worked around for most part.Comment

Confirmed by @EA_White.
You set Supersim to "slow" and it will take you to a CPU vs CPU Broadcast view of the game.
I'm assuming 32 team control will still be needed to watch every game but you no longer have to pick a third string QB or third string TE. You can play as all the Coaches and be in control of all the teams and still watch.
Finally, it's been since Madden 12 that we've been able to watch CPU vs CPU games in Franchise!
Most of you probably didn't care much for this but I love watching the Playoffs or having a game on while i'm doing something else like cooking.
Just so I understand this "skip the moment" thing as it pertains to CPU vs CPU, basically you have to skip a bunch of plays first until a "moment" pops up and THEN you can watch the rest of the game?Last edited by ForUntoOblivionSoar∞; 07-11-2016, 07:03 AM.Originally posted by Therebelyell626I am going to create a team called "the happy town fundament rapscallions" and hurt your already diminishing image

Re: CPU vs CPU is back for Franchise Mode
I don't remember his screename but I'd like to thank a Patriots fan who made a CPU vs CPU thread every year to try to get it back in the series. I think the developers seeing how popular those topics were played a big role in this feature returning.Comment

Re: CPU vs CPU is back for Franchise Mode
Yes I am looking forward to this as it sounds very good this year. Not being a button masher it is the only way to coach/own your franchise.
It sounds tho I can still go back to game if wanted or change my roster if I am winning or losing by enough to blood some players which is good to me.Supporting Brighton, Buccs & UCF Knights
Headcoach was amazing.Comment

Re: CPU vs CPU is back for Franchise Mode
I did see a video of the Miami Dolphins a few weeks ago and the camera was placed correctly. Here's hoping the rest are fixed. End of rant, back on topicLast edited by bubba4; 07-20-2016, 10:48 PM.Comment
