Just so I understand this "skip the moment" thing as it pertains to CPU vs CPU, basically you have to skip a bunch of plays first until a "moment" pops up and THEN you can watch the rest of the game?
Was there any clear answer to this? Are you not able to view the entire game, but only after a few plays are simmed until a "skip the moment" prompt occurs?

I think I answered it in here. You want to enter the super-sim menu, select to sim-to-end, then set it to "Slow." That'll get you the complete game in broadcast camera, with full presentation (including replays after almost every play, from my experience).

Thanks. I was under the impression it only did that after you reached a "moment."

I am so happy this feature was added as well as the long list of other features. I am curious if off the ball injuries will happen in SLOW mode as they do in a pure simulation in which you don't watch the action?

Unfortunately that has been confirmed to be a No
Arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon .... No matter how good you are , the bird is going to **** on the board and strut around like it won anyway .

Correct. Since it's still technically gameplay, anything that does or doesn't happen in-game will still happen or not happen in CPU-CPU.

I hope the broadcast cam is zoomed in closer to the players like in real life. The broadcast cam from recent Madden games was/is too far away.

A bit off topic again after seeing this......HERE'S A BIG QUESTION in CPU vs CPU...... I like the game to move through at a good pace, and if i'm not mistaken, haven't all Maddens had the INABILITY to turn OFF replays? They just really slow the game down so much in CPU vs CPU. Is there an OFF switch this year? I have been waiting forever for that feature......

                    thanks

love it! But can we switch camera's in this CPU CPU mode? I like a more zoomed view, broadcast is far away

Re: CPU vs CPU is back for Franchise Mode

Sports games really need to embrace coach-mode or CPU-CPU more.

                        This is great news, though!

Re: CPU vs CPU is back for Franchise Mode

I may have overlooked it in the thread or misunderstood how it's being explained, but what I'm looking for in offline CPU vs CPU is the ability to do what can be done in MLB The Show, NBA 2k, and this series up until Madden 12, and that is the ability to let the CPU have full and complete control over all 32 teams (roster movement, trades, free agent signing, injury management, etc). It's an unusual way to use the game, but I like setting up the sliders and watching the CPU play the season without any input from me. I like to see how it compares to what's going on in real life. I also like to actually play, but using the game this way is my favorite way to use it.

Is this possible in Madden 2017?

If so, I will be buying this game at release.

You would set up 32-team control and then set all the teams to be controlled by the AI. You would play every game, and set the game to Super Sim-Slow, and "skip to end." The game would then play out in CPU-CPU with full broadcast presentation.
