Alright I played CPU vs CPU inside CFM. I was a COACH in both attempt. I tried the 2 team way turn controllers off but at end of game it won't save because of that active profile glitch. But tried it with just one controller/team control and turn controller off and you can watch the game & at the end it does save(the user profile glitch did not show up).Hip Hip Hooray. On All Madden default settings Bradford (Eagles) 0-6 passing at halftime (4 minute quarter). Cutler 8-10 at halftime 112 yards 1TD. But don't know if being my team(Bears) had any influnce because we all know Bradford sucks. The only other stat I remember at half was Langford rushing 4 times for 7 yards. And last but not least if you like doing ROSTERS: The CPU/AI only signed practice squad players at the end of the preseason & cut scrubs,so looks like EA listen and let you control who YOUR team signs as COACH. The other 30 teams did sign players but I WAS NOT the COACH for them. Enjoy watching your Madden & making those rosters.

Re: CPU vs CPU is back for Franchise Mode
One more thing you can't edit skin color and other crap outside cfm. Pretty much same as last year. Billy Joe Tolliver as Matt Ryan OH WAIT you can't change what hand he throws with, good luck roster people(people brought up create players in this thread earlier). EA at least made a damn good game though. And weight wouldn't match for ryan & tolliverComment

Re: CPU vs CPU is back for Franchise Mode
This is a very long thread to go through so please forgive me if this question has been answered already but does Madden 17 have "REAL" CPU vs CPU (like Madden 12) or is it just another work around made much easier to pull off?
I don't care about the sim each play or play the moments mode.Comment

Re: CPU vs CPU is back for Franchise Mode
I've been pretty scattered brained. For those who want to play 32 team controlled CPU vs CPU, here's what you do.
Select one team to play as and put the other controller in the middle. I noticed that of you put each controller on both sides, it won't let you go to Super Sim.
Get through the intro or skip it, after that, pause and go to Super Sim. On the lower left hand side, there's an indicator telling you to hit x to change Sim speeds. Change it to slow. Then go to where you can pick play to end of game and then you have CPU vs. CPU.
It's actually way easier and faster then it sounds.
I'm at work, but I will add a CPU vs. CPU sliders post in the appropriate section in the next few days. It takes a bit to get it right.Comment

Re: CPU vs CPU is back for Franchise Mode
Not quite. In Madden 12 and previous iterations, you just had to take control of one team and when playing the game, instead of choosing your team to control just put the controller in the middle where you don't control either team but you just watch the game and let the cpu play both sides.
I don't want the trouble of controlling 32 teams.
You don't have to control all 32 teams. I think it's the same as what you are looking for, just an extra step or two.Comment

Re: CPU vs CPU is back for Franchise Mode
Game again looks beautiful in this mode.
I see the option to press a button to go back, so in this mode can I make roster changes and then go back to watching again?Supporting Brighton, Buccs & UCF Knights
Headcoach was amazing.Comment

Quick question do you actually need to have a second controller to play 32 team control cpu vs cpu? Or can you do it with just one controller?
I'd hate to go out and buy another controller for this, but you gotta do what you gotta do, but hopefully not, I'm hoping?
ThanksGames I'm playing FOREVER: NFL2K5, That is all.Comment

Re: CPU vs CPU is back for Franchise Mode
It appears to be the case, but at least you get full control of roster and players. Real customization. Very similar to Madden NFL 12 in those regards.Comment

lord!!!! really, we can't just put one controller in the middle like the old days and just hit play??? Folks, i'm just saying, still sounds like a lot of inconvenient workarounds here for CPU vs CPU 32 Team offline and control...I will wait to see more hands on from people here before I buy for sure.....Comment
