2 and 5 I believe you can do this year. The rest would have to be answered by someone else.

AFAIK you can do all those things in M17 with 32 team control.

Re: CPU vs CPU is back for Franchise Mode

I want to play games online and all but as far as CPU vs CPU, I want to be able to do these things...

        1. Let the CPU have full and complete control of all 32 teams (game play, play calling, managing rosters, trades, free agents, taking care of injuries, etc). I don't want any of my input or influence in anything at all. ALL CPU.
        2. Have the option to watch every single game every week if I want to.
        3. Monitor team and individual statistics along with injuries from week to week.
        4. See firings/hirings of coaches, coordinators, etc.as they happen.
        5. Watch playoff games and the Super Bowl when it comes time.
        6. Begin another season after trades/free agent signings/cuts/etc take place.

I tried to ask these questions a different way to mr price, but in case he misunderstood anything I said or I wasn't clear, can someone who has the game and who has tried some of these things out tell me if everything I have listed above is possible? If not, please tell me what apparently isn't.

Madden 2008 was the last time I could do all of these things. I'll purchase the game first thing Tuesday if it all works.

        Thanks in advance.
From what I've seen so far, all of this is possible, you just need to have a user assigned to each team at all times (you can assign the same user to all teams). For the least amount of user influence, I would recommend either having a user be a third string quarterback or someone else who will not play in the game or have each user be the owner of the team. If you go the player route, just make sure that if one of your guys gets released/traded, to "retire" that player and re-assign a user to the team that player was on. Owner might be easier to do though. Even as all 32 users assigned as an owner, I was still seeing coach hirings/firings being done automatically.

I just watched a Panthers vs Saints game in franchise mode. There was an actual defensive pass interference penalty that was called!

One thing I was pleasantly surprised about is you can let the CPU run the practice drill as well (not having to rely on stick skills). Helps with the immersion experience if you run a CPU vs CPU franchise like me. From my limited experience there have been good practices and bad. Really enjoying what they did this year!

I definitely will once I get the full game. Not real bad so far though.

Been working on them from since EA access and now with my PS4 version.

This biggest area I've been focusing on recently is sacks (Now that I have QB% pretty good) . Last few games in CPU vs CPU I'm getting roughly 2-3 a game for both teams.

Unfortunately I work now until Wednesday morning so time will be limited until them.

I'm at work now. Will post within the next day or so after I am happy with what I see. Plan to play some (CPU vs CPU) in the morning when I get off for a couple hours before work.

I've been working on them too. I just need to adjust interceptions and fumbles when the QB gets sacked and I think I'll have it. I discovered slider adjustments work better under all-pro than all-madden. I also adjust the RB rotations based on a per team basis. I like subbing in RBs more frequently for the Patriots then say the Vikings under Peterson.

In a few days, I'll post my sliders and I'll give yours a try.

I like to do a test run of 3 weeks worth to make sure it's on par with an NFL regular season.

I tried CPU vs CPU briefly during some of my games this weekend, and man was it beautiful to behold. It's great to have the option back, but god I wish there was a less time-intensive way to do it. I'm the type that likes to play with one team during franchise, but every now and then either watch other teams play or play with another team. The whole creating coaches/characters process to get that accomplished is a bit clunky. But again, at least it's possible.

In my opinion it's nowhere near as bad as what we've had the last few years. It definitely needs some work though.

My fellow Vol friend, can you or others tell me how hard it is to set it up where I want to watch any CPU vs CPU game at any time, but I also want to EXCLUDE myself as having any control of any team in the process? In other words, I want the CPU to have 100% complete control of every NFL team during the season (calling plays, free agency, trades, hiring and firing of coaches, every single thing during games and front office decisions). Would I still have to set up these profiles you and others are talking about?

The ease of not having to do this in MLB The Show is one reason why I love it so much. I'm hoping this way is similar.
