In other words, I want the CPU to have 100% complete control of every NFL team during the season (calling plays, free agency, trades, hiring and firing of coaches, every single thing during games and front office decisions). Would I still have to set up these profiles you and others are talking about?

The ease of not having to do this in MLB The Show is one reason why I love it so much. I'm hoping this way is similar.

    Go Vols
You do have to add each coach or owner individually just like last year. It's a 10-15 minute process at the start of your franchise. I haven't a clue on the hiring and firing yet. One thing that kinda sucks is when you watch a game, the ticker comes up but the games aren't being played. So it just says user vs user on each game. So no stats or scores from around the league are being shown. Trust me though, it's way better than the past few years. I'm just stoked to watch games. I'll know much more tomorrow when I get the full copy. Also.... GO VOLS!

Currently watching a game in exhibition mode, I hope its as easy in the franchise mode. Man I love that this is back in! Definitely will be getting Madden his year.

Edit: or has it always been in exhibition mode, just not franchise?

Oh ok, I always knew it was sometime that kept me from downloading even on ea vaults. Been a while since I cared to play madden.

Anyway, watching broncos vs patriots, saw a block punt. Nice.

Edit: now if we could fix the screen dimming.

We still don't have the option to switch teams in the middle of the game in Connected Franchises, do we?

              Simple question.

Does Madden 17 has a Madden 12 Franchise mode cpu vs cpu or just a work-around?

If you sim the games before the game you watch, you'll still get ticker updates from the games you already simmed

Thanks for the info man! Does it show real time updates or just final scores?

It's not as simple as madden 12, but a much easier work around than after madden 12. Just make or select a coach, owner, or player for every team, then you can watch any game you want.

what does it mean "not being able to switch teams in the middle of a game? Can we switch teams and edit lineups once we have selected a coach for all 32 team user control? that is what I am concerned about. Not being able to switch teams in the middle of a cpu vs cpu does not matter to me...let me know someone, thanks...my purchase today hinges on total team control in offline mode

It means that once you start a game, you cant switch teams during the game....even if you control all 32 teams. You can switch teams all you want outside of an actual game.

oh, then I'm golden...i go into the game with a set lineup for each team, not sure why someone would want to mess with the sim once started?
