One time (once), Larry Ridley started his intro saying how it was snowing and I was extremely excited (@ GB in the playoffs)...until the game loaded & it was clear.

Part of the problem was the weather progression throughout the season was off. It would be December 29th in Chicago and if it was a sunny game at 34 degrees, the fans and camera crew would be wearing shorts and t-shirts.

Once the weather got below 32 degrees you could get cold weather without snow. It would only ever happen in January though, and never December, November, or even late October.

I should mention I was offline, 32-team CFM.

I played 1-team offline with Madden 25 & 15, and found that every single year it would rain when I played the Rams in San Francisco. On both games, this happened every season. I wonder if 32-team control has something to do with it in an offline franchise.

No, they were outside at TCF Bank stadium

I relocated my team to London in my 2nd year and about all my home games were rainy then once it hits the playoffs all it did was snow ( 4/6 playoff games I had in London it snowed.)

I found the wind was always to drastic. It was always 8MPH minimum. The norm was around 13MPH.

I have been most curious about wind velocity. 8 mph in the last couple Maddens has seemed like 20+ mph winds.
I can't even remember how many kickoffs I actually kicked through the goal posts because of the crazy wind.

I played 5-6 seasons as TEN and had ONE weather game, in CIN for a Divisional Playoff in year three or so...

I suspected it was possibly a byproduct of using a Custom Roster and / or Booker's Drive Goals workaround, due to the fact that it's not a universal experience...

The only problem I saw with weather is that the effects were invisible in broadcast cam. Other than that I had plenty of variation.

That's odd, I play coach mode using the broadcast cam and have seen plenty of weather.

I hope the weather conditions offer more realism, i think the game is overestimating tenperature, especially in Northern climates. November amd December games, especially above 40N should be in the 30s and 20s. Snow should be more rare, how many times last year in the NFL was there a game in the snow? Would be really cool to see a game go from rain to snow from the 1st qtr to 4th qtr.

But then got moved to their new stadium in Year 2... which sucked as the improvements were capped at Level2 despite the stadium costing a lot in the weekly budget and it being pretty state of the art in real life.

I miss the days were we could actually set our own weather. How hot or cold it was and the intensity of the rain and snow. I think madden 04 even had the crowd react and you could clearly see they were wearing coats and gloves etc.

I got 5 seasons in, playing as SF, and never saw weather of any kind. No rain in SF or Seattle, no snow in December anywhere that I would play that you would expect to see snow. Every game, perfectly sunny or, if a night game, perfectly clear.

Same here. With Dallas, I can tell you in 2 seasons, every single game was sunny. I'm really really not telling a lie here. Plain and simple

Were you other guys who did not see weather also play with either a custom roster / the drive goal workaround or both?

Like I said earlier, I'm guessing that / they may have been the trigger...

EA Roster w/ drive goal workaround. Sucks if that is what caused it since drive goals were a mess too.
