Did they nerf the CPU defense? I bought the game 3 days ago. Playing on default all-pro, the game is too easy. Last year it was challenging except the running.

They seem to have nerfed just about everything that represented a challenge for the user. Default All Madden is really easy right now as well, I could barely win a game on it pre-patch. Just finished blowing out the Bengals 38-10 in my CFM with the Jets.

I honestly believe they messed up the game after this update. My CFM Draft Class is wonky as hell. The undrafted QBs disappear every other week and then on top of that they all have the same ratings B, B, C+. Then the DTs all have the same rating, even the first round picks B-,C+,C-. Then i'm getting players returning from injuries that never happened. Now i have two guys out for 50+ weeks from PCL tears. Also i've had the game crash on me twice, i can't play one CFM file because it crashes on the Draft every time. It's baffling

The "game was better before the updates" kooks that come out every year, regardless of the game, never cease to amaze me. Your all crazy. And none ever back up the point. The game is IMPROVED in my opinion.

Go to QB accuracy thread. We backup out opinion. You will just need to read a big thread though.

At this stage, with the current patch and tuners, what game is better to play, M16 in its final state, or M17? I like a few things about 17 but as an overall experience the gameplay is wildly inconsistent.

Madden 2017 released version without patches. Best option. Otherwise 2017 still better.

I still own '16 as well and have to say that at least sliders function the way they should.All the best features were since nerfed in this years game so I would say that if you don't want to put a lot of time trying to fix the game with individual player ratings tweaks that '16 at the moment may actually be the better option or at least on even par.

I'm a tad annoyed that Las Vegas isn't one of the relocation cities- I started a Raiders career and noticed there's no Vegas option.

I think there are too many FG attempts where the CPU shanks it. I know it happens in the real NFL but it's a bit much in Madden 17. Pro Bowl kickers will simply just shank a kick if its a long distance one. Otherwise they are too consistent. So in a broad sense the only misses they have are terrible shanks. This is an issue in punting as well.
