About the same as the past decade or so. I'm 41, and have been playing Madden since the very beginning. I know to ignore the marketing and buzzwords by now, and expect the exact same experience. Especially as a Franchise player. But I do really enjoy the gameplay and am excited to jump in with the PS5. I also really love making draft classes, so I'm not really excited but I'm getting prepared for my draft classes. Knowing exactly what I'm going to get of course.

I may get it. It sounds like an improvement. I have a ps4 so feel last generation will miss out on cool new features. I just need to get a ps5 before the new ncaa game returns in summer 2023. That's the one sport game I really enjoy to the point of playing long term.Comment

Re: What's your Madden 22 hype level?
CFB 24 is not going to be drastically different from Madden. It will be built from the same foundation with a gameplay tuned for the college game like it always was in the past. I wouldn't expect any more than that or else you'll likely end up disappointed. It will likely have a good dynasty mode and good atmosphere and college feel to it, but on the field it will still feel like EA football and Madden.
The atmosphere especially with the custom sounds you could install was awesome.
I agree it might be built from the same engine but NCAA just always seemed to have that longevity that Madden lacked. Seems like over the past decade I'd lose interest in Madden after 2-3 months.
That typically happens when playing the game.....
Now CPU vs CPU gameplay I can actually stay focused a little longer in that mode.
Having said that I'm a little more excited for Madden 22 than I was in previous years.NCAA FOOTBALL 14 ALUMNI LEGENDS CPU vs CPU DYNASTY THREAD

Hopefully they kill it with dynasty mode and I can have a good time without having to ever actually play a game. But with EA's recent track record with Madden, blindly assuming they're going make a franchise-like mode that's deep, fun, and engaging is being pretty naive, in my opinion. I really hope they make a fantastic dynasty mode (an awesome online dynasty mode would be even better), but I'll believe it when I see it.Comment

I’m hyped but kinda sad because I’m still on Xbox One.
Will it still be worth it to buy? I know a lot of the updates are available on the PS5/XSX.Comment

Got a next gen system this past weekend and have been impressed with Madden 21 NG. So, I'm looking forward to 22. I won't put a number on it tho. Staying calm, cool and even keel."Dunks are tough, but when a 35 footer come rainin out the sky...it'll wire you up"Comment

11, double-dipping on PS5 and Series X day one. I have friends on both ecosystems. Plus I have saved so much money by not buying NCAA every year since 2013.Comment
