I had a good PS4 PN game against the Eagles, lost 24-17, balanced stats, but last play I either botched defense call or coverage was blown...Hurts hit a wide open guy to end it with 24 seconds. Running has gotten tougher, and interceptions seem to be back to normal, in this game at least. I was throwing picks left and right prior to patch. No highlights at the end. The game just hung and I had to hold the x down to get to the stats. I think the same happened at halftime. With regards to presentation, there are a lot more bugs that normal. I will see if it happens again, but I'm also 99 percent sure that in picking play now, they sent me to the wrong field...twice.

I'm sure if everyone just shut up and played, or didn't buy it like you say, EA was probably gonna change Franchise mode all on their own right? That didn't have anything to do with people demanding more from a product. No way. That whole #FixFranchise thing was just a waste of time, I'm sure they had plans all along to add tons of basic features after launch.
But even though all that happened, here some of you are, wanting people to just be quiet and accept whatever EA gives us smh.Comment

PS4 retro guy here already happy with coverage and gameplay and thrilled my Cowboys retro unis got love, among other teams. Also appreciate some fixes with regards to uni (tk helmet) glitching. I will be cheering on the equipment guru for an encore with regards to more retros.
It's hard for me to justify getting a ps5 primarily for this game right now, and I don't have the patience to chase one, so on to retro roster editing/creation!

It's weird that for a game that cost $70 and is at a low point you still have people who seem to have an attitude of "just shut up and enjoy it". That sound like a good consumer plan to you? We all just shut up and take any laziness, glitches, broken modes or broken promises, who cares because we could just not purchase it right? Why hold EA accountable.

Coverage been a problem for years but their main priority is promoting new gimmick modes like campus ko
It's my fault I always buy the game then it becomes a coaster on my shelve then NBA 2k comes out and I will even forget I even bought the game
EA reminds me of the Jerry Jones don't care about wins just want people seats$$$

I’m still seeing the disappearing RB issue in franchise. Maybe due to progressive fatigue? I’ve seen Henry and Cook disappear after the first quarter in consecutive weeks late in the season now

I haven’t kept up with the CPU team progressive fatigue issues in Franchise because I haven’t started mine yet… does a CPU team recognize when it has a short week of rest (such as a Thursday game, Saturday road game, or any game the week after a Monday game) and use Half Pads for that week of practice?
If it doesn’t, that feels like a really low-hanging-fruit starting point to start addressing the issue.

EA couldn't care less about adding those features. The NFL isn't stopping them from doing restricted FA, better in-depth free agency, better play calling and clock management, better create a player and coach, and more.
As soon as they brought microtransactions EA quit caring about making the best sport game.

Taking it a step further:
They (CPU) basically practice full pads/starters every single week thru week 12 or 13....here and there they sprinkle in splitting reps at certain position groups around week 12/13 but not always. Basically too little too late.
Contrast that with the extensive testing i have been doing, I came up with the following system to manage my own teams fatigue:
Pre Season Weeks 1-4 - Full Pads/Split
Regular Season:
Weeks 1-4 Fullpads/Starters
Weeks 5-8 Half Pads/Starters
Weeks 9-18 I will start going half pads a lot and split or go backups only (I dice roll it for fun)....depending on the game maybe starters if it is big game....but I stop going full pads after week 4 of the regular season.
If I ever see a unit under 90% fatigue (offense of defense or both) that week we will go half pads/backups which will replenish my starting units really good.
The CPU does not do any of that....the logic needs some real work. I know they can fix it. But I have to imagine it will take time.
It has absolutely nothing to do with sliders or the fatigue slider (that fatigue slider is for in game fatigue only not the Progressive Fatigue system). So if you have a tired player he will fatigue quicker in the game itself, If you turn up that slider. I found 60 to be a great sweet spot that will make some in game auto subs happen (Auto Subs at default). I have not had any disappearing players with my system employing 32 team control.
It is not ideal for those who want nothing to do with 32 team control.
I am also going to test turning off Progressive Fatigue week 12....and turning it back on Week 14. We have heard that it essentially resets the Progressive fatigue around the league. If so that is potentially a viable workaround for those wanting to use this great feature and not employ 32 team control....then they can reset it to save the CPU from themselves late in the season.
When this is shut off....it locks you out from game planning and having a more dynamic XP distribution around the league as well as game focus modifiers.
Let’s hope EA can get it right for solo franchise players.

Offline? This is an offline issue. Online does not have the longest pass 25 yard bug.
I know it is being foxed for offline though….probably next update.
