On ps4 they've definitely cleaned up the physics a bunch especially on tackling. Also noticed less falling forward animation resulting from continuous tacklers getting different animations. Coverage is tighter too. Drags are better defended for sure. I'm anxious to dona 32 man solo franchise once the scouting drops and fatigue is fixed.

So initially my ps4 went out, and I was looking to use my warranty to get another 4, thinking they would be more lucrative to get than a 5. Wrong. There just as sold out as the 5. There was no way to replace because of zero availability and no where, and I mean no where to purchase a 5.



So I looked into xbox, and on there site they had the s model available. So I ordered, 2 days later we were gaming, everything seemed all good? Next morning (Friday) hmn trying to load mlb the show and check out stadium creator and the game? Freezes upon loading the tutorial. Hmn ok maybe just a glitch... try again after completely shutting down console boom same thing, freeze again! Ok maybe there working on something ..



Let's load a regular game crash again..what in the world is going on.. ok frustrated lets turn on madden...ultimate team first, not loading, asking me who I am, even though its saying my gamer tag is signed in.



Click the id, sweet its loading...wait what? Back to the main menu... this litterally went on from last Friday until this Thursday, alongside of me calling ea customer support which was an absolute joke and dealing with Microsoft trying several tactics of uninstalling, reinstalling, pulling out the cord of the back of the xbox, this morning I packed that bad boi up, shined that some... up! Turned it side ways and sent it straight up UPS candy... lmao



Trust me I had to make a joke out this, because this week has been exhausting dealing with this. So currently I have no console or pc, set up, everything is in the cloud lol smh



I do know ill just be waiting until a ps5 comes knocking, gotta smile through all this...



I said that to say, dont sweat it, ish happens, yeah it sucks but things get better, hang in there.

I haven’t been to your point of exhaustion only with PS4 Pro that sounds like a Jet Engine which I refuse to play and will be packaging that and turning that in along with some other systems whenever a PS5 becomes available in 2024 😂 - BUT have you thought of ordering an XBOX S? I got one in May & I love it! I’ve had no problems - I have MLB The Show & Madden and I’ve had no issues

Your penalty settings?

I have penalties at 60 for holding false start offsides and forgot the other one at the top. PI is 99 and I have holding false start if I audible more than once semi regularly and have seen PI and roughing the passer called in multiple games. It's enough to not complain but less than NFL average per game. I play on All Pro default and just upped speed parity to 75 but had penalties before that.

I'm just so exasperated at this point.. Super disappointed doesn't even come close to how I feel about this issue. First time I've EVER had this issue with ANY game on ANY console.EVER.

Can't play a game at all. Shuts the brand new series x down after several mins of gameplay in the first quarter.

I have and play all other games with zero issues.. Cold war, valhalla, doom eternal, gears 5, blah blah blah..

It's JUST Madden 22 doing this for me. Grrrrr....

It's definitely a bug within the game. It's causing the console to crash, your controller starts blinking in which you have to go through the monotonous motions of taking the battery out, put it back in, go up to the console, turn it back on.

It doesn't happen all the time. Not sure why some people experience it and some reportedly do not. But this much is true. IT EXISTS. You know why? EA acknowledged it and stated they were going to address it in a patch mid October lol.

I just wonder what type of internal damage will this cause to our consoles. I mean, couple years later, who knows. System stops working and we forget that issue with Madden constantly crashing it. Who's responsible for that? Pay 60 buck to make our consoles worse.

I've never experienced the system shutdown, or never had any trouble connecting to their servers.

If you literally can't play the game, delete the game then re-download it if you haven't already. Also do a reset on the Xbox itself.

What system are you running?

I've tried doing all sorts of things including what you suggested and I have an Xbox One X. This is the only game where it makes my console crash like several others have reported. I have many games on there that I played and tested. Madden was the only one that was consistent with the crashing.

I'm in Week 17 and the progressive fatigue has finally caught up to the CPU teams. Just played the Rams and Akers took about 5-8 snaps and never came back into the game.

When I was on defense their DL were all doing the fatigue animation bobbing their heads. I only won 24-10 but they couldn't do much of anything on offense.

This is disappointing it hasn't been fixed yet. I have three options I guess, shelve my CFM and wait on a fix, start another CFM and turn PF off until it's fixed or start killing the CPU teams as fatigue continues to get worse.

I've read you can't even turn it off during a CFM and have the players recover their fatigue.

What if instead of turning it off halfway through, you turn it ON halfway through?

I wonder how widespread this console shutdown issue is. I mean it sound like it is Madden that's causing it. I haven't seen it, so I wonder if it's isolated or not.

Either way, this is something EA should address because it seems like a real problem. Although, if they ignore it, it makes it ambiguous on whether it's their fault or not. Which is what I'm sure they want.

It's interesting, as someone who is just playing Play Now games while waiting for the new scouting to be implemented, if it weren't for these OS threads I would know that there was anything wrong with the game besides of course some legacy issues that have existed for years. The games I'm playing vs the CPU are incredibly fun.

Noticed an issue that I don't remember seeing pre-patch, Happens to both Human and CPU defenders playing the flats. If a receiver is in the flats and the QB run towards them scrambling then the defender playing the flat zone with the receiver turns around and runs up field allowing the QB to either scramble for easy yards or get an easy completion.
