Sorry, I tried to message you on discord, but can't figure it out. I don't really use it so I don't know how to use it very well. I'm old lol

Ok, I figured out how to message you. Will do it tomorrow/today at some point. Thanks
PVarck, on the left side in the Madden Modding Community Discord there are pinned messages, click on the installation guide. Some people also aren’t realizing to mod Madden 22 you actually use the Fifa mod manager, the download link is in the installation guide. Make sure you don’t accidentally download the FIFA editor, sounds like you just want to use the mods not create your own so you don’t need the editor.

Then, on that same left panel look in community creations, that’s where the mods are listed. People give a description of the mod and link the download. TBR’s heavy snow mod is great, there is a tattoo mod, I also like the fist down marker removal one, Aholbert does some great stadium/Jumbotron mods with the stuff teams use in real life for their Jumbotron screens. He also replaces generic advertisements with the real ones in NFL stadiums, you’d be amazed what a difference that makes. There are also cleat mods, mouthpiece mods, scrunchy socks like the ones OBJ wears, visor color mods, clean screen that takes away everything on screen but a small black circle around your controlled player, also another TBR mod that edits camera views thats really cool, just a bunch of stuff.

The big sell of player movement 2.0 to me was the fact that receivers would now be able to win fly routes from time to time and get separation on those routes sometimes - but this still doesn’t happen. It was happening after the game was initially released, but I suspect that had to do with coverage bugs. Every deep ball the CPU QB throws it is like a jump ball every single time.

So you might as well get the benefits of the modded PC game.

If the tool we use gets updated to allow those files to be edited, absolutely. I found exactly what I need but we are unable to touch them. I am trying to get it prioritized but at the mercy of the fifa side.

I haven't kept up with modding this year due to knowing I wasn't likely to get into it since the PC wouldn't have next gen gameplay.

Is it finally possible to use mods in a cloud franchise again?

Can we just point out how sad it is that EA keeps saying that they can't fix these things but a bunch of modders in their free time have been able to fix so much.

in doing this, you have to keep the game offline going forward then correct?

That’s not correct. You just don’t want to go play head 2 head strangers with mods. You can play others online with mods, but everything has to be the exact same or it’ll desync every time.

                      2. Did anyone/or is it possible to mod, defensive line fronts? IE changing 3 point stance to 4 point? Or creating boss front etc..thanks in advance

Absolutely amen to this entire topic. I was just able to get into the PC Gaming market within the last year or so so I came to Madden 20 Modded very late but it was an absolute game changer. Not only did the Mods help increase my immersion ten fold (scorebugs and stadium mods and uniform mods and jumbtron mods, etc) but the gameplay and franchise AI mods turned a supremely weak experience of the base game into one I actually looked forward to playing.

I'm still playing M20 with a Retro Franchise that started in 2002 and it's still fun several years in (thanks to TDawg's progression tool the league doesn't automatically become a bloated mess of Superstars)! The work already done on M22 is awe inspiring and it just gets better each and every day, the amount of praise these guys get will never be enough.

Words can't even express how embarrassing it is that the modding community can shape the game into something virtually every single Madden player wants more than the actual game that's sold at retail yet EA continues to stumble each and every development cycle.

The movement, cuts, & tackling is hard to stomach on PC, modded, unmodded. My custom cam/gameplay mod is the only reason I'm still playing on PC.
