Just wanted to share a pattern that I'm verifying. The really OP style interceptions are always coming as the momentum meter is half-full-or-more "in my favor."

Again for reference, Rookie / Sim / defensive assists OFF / CPU defensive sliders crashed to Zero (except for 84 CPU tackling). Such low settings but the same issues. To counter / temper my thoughts, I created an OP version QB with 99 everything per throw accuracy, awareness, etc. IT STILL HAPPENS.

I know pics or video will be requested, so I'm going to focus on getting such.

Good info but I think you are preaching to the choir here. I feel like we all have a general sense that the momentum meter is really overpowered and it goes both ways. It's just when we are on offense and the meter is cranked against us, we have learned to be super extra careful and call plays like your life depends on it. Cause there is little margin for error when the CPU D is cranked up with Momentum.

The CPU AI QB doesn't seem to be able to compensate. In fact, it seems like when momentum shifts to the user team big time, I wouldn't be surprised if it somehow penalizes the CPU QB with a massive awareness decrease and causes them to play terrible when the momentum is against them. This shouldn't be happening to the elites in the league but it does.

You read me wrong. I'm saying that I am throwing the crazy, op interceptions when I have momentum swung half or more in MY favor. That's the compensation the AI is seemingly doing.

This is happening to me too. I just stopped my franchise as we were at 6 picks before halftime (11 min, 20 sec runoff). All of mine came with the meter completely full in my favor, and in scenarios where the WR kind of stops or freezes halfway through the route. Even if they're wide open they just stop responding and a defender will literally warp to the spot when it happens.

Would go back to beta gameplay if it were an option.

I just started my franchise yesterday and I’ve thrown 9 picks in 3 games. 3 were pick-6’s (and 2 scoop and scores on top of that). I’m short passing game guy- sticks/screens/shallow crosses. My completion % is 70%, so most of what I’m not completing is getting picked off. My favorite is when a safety will run straight down at the snap and cut right in front of a cross coming from the other side of the field, almost like they knew I was running it, and when he should be sitting on a TE that is running a curl on his side of the formation. I think I’m going back to The Show until they patch this nonsense.

It could be, but if his example is like mine, the CPU team is ALSO throwing 3-5 picks a game. It is absolutely unplayable right now.

Agreed. I play 12 minute quarters. I normally play Offense Only, but the last few games I played defense too. CPU averaged 6 picks a game. Mahomes threw 9, 5 to one player. Russell Wilson threw 7. Oddly Zach Wilson only threw 3, but all of this is with Player/CPU Interceptions set to 0 on All-Madden.

I haven’t played the game for a week so so now. I’ve stayed before that the INTs were just ruining the game for me. I thought I’ll just wait until this issue gets patched…the problem is I’m not sure that EA have even acknowledged that it’s a problem that they are working on..,has anybody heard of they have been working to fix this?

I appreciate you trying to do what you can, in bringing it to their attention. It would be nice if we had some kind of response regarding the situation. But that might be wishful thinking.

Is it just me or are lob passes not nearly thrown high enough? No matter what I do, my lob throws on man to man streak plays, that would have been caught if they were thrown high enough and catch the receiver in stride, always are underthrown and thrown too low.

It really feels like the context for button presses has changed for the "Max Payne" bullet time throwing mode (which I don't use). No matter how lightly I tap the pass icon, it's either a touch or a bullet.

Considering the interception issue is bad enough that it's 3 of the topics on here and most of the top ones on the Reddit should tell you it probably isn't the players.
