The momentum thing has got a little screwy since the patch.

I shut down their O, but my D suddenly has ossues in coverage accordin gto the ticker. I get two sacks, but my OL is having issues, again, according to the ticker.

Think it's also made the INT worse. I had slowly, thru a lot of practice and care, managed to drop the INT rate.

But since that patch, I have had to re-start games because throwing five picks in the first five passes a games - none of which should have ever been picked ... woof.

Out of curiosity, has the devs talked about the QB injury issue? From what I’ve read, lots of OL and DL injuries to be had in the game, but not much of the QB end.

That's how you get the 1.0.0.3 version. You'll just have to go offline to play.
On pS5 I have it set to not automatically update games. When I launch Madden 23, it starts the download of the patch. I click on it, tell it to cancel and deleted. I then continue playing this version without issue. I do not have to be "offline" to play Madden. So the PS5 is still connected but Madden cannot connect to servers and such until you allow the update. Which, ideally you will not allow to happen. Not sure how this works on Xbox so there is always that odd chance it will update at some point.
