Just played my first game since the first beta ended. Gameplay about the same, my biggest issue still remains, edge rushers don't get any pressure, even star edge rushers like Watt and Parsons don't make much of an impact unless they get a random block shed animation.

I started on Pro-Simulation since I haven't played in a while and was going to work my way up. Does anyone else have a problem with the non-human controlled pass rushers not getting off blocks. Chris Jones has been single covered on nearly every play in a game against the Broncos and has yet to even get off a block in 15 pass plays. The worst being an extended play where he was single covered by a 69 overall Ben Powers for about five straight seconds.

Is it better on other difficulty levels? I have been able to get better separation when manually controlling pass rushers.

Also had one play around the 10 yard line where I had Nick Bolton in a spy against Russell Wilson. Wilson starts scrambling and Gay just casually moved towards him until Wilson was already at the 3 yard line and he finally closes in for the tackle.

Yep, when a certain crowd of H2H influencers who got 1st access before the 2nd wave of codes was released complained about Knock_Outs & the Pass Rush, they nerfed these before it got into the hands of more people for feedback.

I specifically reminded Clint of his words that they would take a slower approach towards adjusting/tweaking gameplay & as always just like every other Beta, they nerf an aspect that’s more in-line with Simulation than Comp/MUT.

The worse part is they do not provide the tools for you to adjust to increase/get those aspects back & down the rabbit hole Sim gamers go of waiting monthly for an Update to address/improve an gameplay aspect.

Watch, they’re just going to roll out Franchise with so many issues still remaining that needed to be fixed, yet they removed it from the Beta like it was complete & ready to go. lol

Don’t be surprised if Franchise gamers have to wait once again until October or November to address something that should’ve been taken care of before release (but further Beta testing was not needed)

Sorry about the rant, I’m just tired of the Franchise community getting a bunch of wordy salesmanship of being a focus, but then we’re the ones waiting months on hand after release to have something addressed.
- it’s almost as if it’s done on purpose to keep Franchise User engagement #’s up (just saying)

It really bothers me that we can't turn off the momentum meter on this beta. It's the worst feature ever made. Games are more fun and true to simulation when turned off in franchise mode. It was a game killer for me on 23 and makes this 2nd round of beta a worse experience having to play with it on.

I got busy around the time of the beta so I wasn't crazy bummed about not getting a code.. but how I'm not busy and out of work right now lol. If anyone has a code it'd be greatly appreciated

I haven't done any testing, so I could be way off here. This is me going purely off feeling, but after having played 100's of games last year on 95 threshold on the Series X, and now playing the beta on PC at 95 threshold, it feels like either the threshold slider is not working, or that they've changed the slider and now 95 isn't the same as it was in the past.

Like I said in my prior post, I am having way too easy of a time bouncing runs outside, rounding off runs in the boundaries and destroying angles I have no business destroying, etc. This was not an issue last year once you raised the threshold high enough, or not as big of an issue at least. It's leading to very wide open gameplay at the moment, which I am not a fan of in an NFL game as much.

Curious if any others have raised the threshold and what their feelings are.

This is actually my fear as well and which is why I may just wait till then to pick up the game (if I even do).

I remember reading all the impressions about previous beta's and the community here really enjoying them, then come release only to find out area's of the game were severely nerfed.

It's a damn shame EA caters to the online/head to head/ content creator crowd as this game SHOULD be in a better place by now, but sadly it isn't and probably won't be in my lifetime.

As far as waiting till Oct or Nov, it seems for whatever reason the game isn't stable until then anyways and there should be some sales by then as well.

I don't hate Madden, I'm just sick of the BS and waiting for something that will most likely never happen.

I read in the other thread that the game still shows PEACH/GOLD helmets.

Since this wasn't fixed I think it's not a bug or anything but it's a placeholder for a new helmet design or something that they want to reveal later.

Anyone else agree?

I just recall in another beta a year or two ago we had the same issue and I believe they said that it was still a work in progress, maybe trying to get the helmet to look a certain way or else they want to reveal it.

The peach gold helmet glitch only apples to riddell rev speed helmet. All other helmets have the correct texture . Already been fixed on Ea’s side
