are you on ps4 with 21? if so, i got a pretty good setup. i rerated a roster and found scouting reoprts on all the players and used pro football references AV score for individual players as a guide for overall rating and awareness.

mind you, they arent completelyup to date. i did the soon after the draft, a pre-preseason roster set. probably will have an uodate by week 4 or 5.

I really want the cpu to be very competetive and when it's 3rd and 15 and Ben throws to a WR heading oob for a 2 yard loss I hate it.

I have M21 on PS4 & PS5. As well as M22. I also have M21/22 on Xbox Series X/S too. The Dolphins franchise in question is on XBox Series S….

          Thanks for the heads up...

I know for sure that wasn't happening a few days ago.

Currently working the CPU vs CPU side of things then I'll hop back over to USER gameplay later and test it out.

In the meantime make sure your playing offline lot's of crazy stuff happens when your connected online with gameplay.

Re: Playmakers Madden 22 NG Pro Level Sliders (User vs CPU & CPU vs CPU)

In CFM, the game plays very damn good out of the box on Pro. Only downside is it takes the CPU a while to get going. Put raise their QBA and they get going way quicker. For Play Now I am using mostly the hybrid set, a few things I changed and I didn't change any of the penalty sliders. Plays a good game of football, went down to the wire against the Cowboys with the Jags.

The problem with Madden lately, especially next gen Madden is their heavy reliance on X Factors and superstar abilities. Just scrolling through the roster in Franchise, some of these players have Xfactors and SS abilities assigned to them that I personally wouldn't have gave them. Then you have those who should have something that don't.

I also don't think Next Gen stats is fully turned on yet either because you have some teams and players playing out of character, at least in Play Now games. In franchise it is a different story, they play more like their real life selves and the Xfactor and SS abilities kick in way quicker in Franchise.

For example in Franchise, Defensive Ends CPU controlled get a mighty good pass rush on a consistent basis. Play now, the Defensive Tackles get the pass rush majority of the time where as the stud well known DE get nothing. Injuries happen a lot in Franchise, maybe a tad bit too much. Coach tree is a good concept, but not well fleshed out. Just like the game planning, good concept, not fleshed out.

Don't know who is doing EA ratings and assigning of SS abilities, Xfactors and coach tree stuff, but they need to do better with assigning of things considering how powerful those things are and how much influence they have on ratings and animations. I did find it funny in the Play Now game against the Cowboys, Zeke was their leading receiver that game. Don't get me wrong they took deep shots down the field at times and connected a few times, but Dak mostly targeted Zeke and their TE which were open majority of the time.

Also I noticed HB screens really don't work well in Madden 22. Either for the User or the CPU. The defenders get there before the blockers and the HB do. Finally I am tired of seeing basically every QB I play against attempt a Patrick Mahomes type of pass, at least twice a game where they roll out to the sideline and then fire back clear across the opposite side of the field deep.

So far though with slider adjustments for Play Now and very few adjustments for Franchise this is the most fun I have had with a Madden game. If they fix their lighting, I would enjoy it even more, but for now I just chose night games for Play Now. I notice in Franchise the lighting is more stable and don't dim down as much as Play Now games do during the day.

The next game after sacking Ben 10 times I just got Baker 9 times. Both games felt very real and fun though.

                Good feedback

Sounds like stay close to the base settings (out box) with slight tweaks might be the best way to go for franchise because of all the other things under the hood happening with gameplay inside CFM.

Use the Hybrid settings for Play now mode because that's where adjusted sliders seem to work best.

Test the 1st version and see if the sacks are reduced down until I figure out something with the Hybrid version in CFM.

But it seems like if your biggest issue is the sacks then default 50 for Pass Block might be all you need to do for the CPU.

I was trying to free up DE's with the 0 Pass Block and it sounds like based on Skillz post that they produce much better on their own inside CFM as opposed to play now.

But I'll still test some things for USER vs CPU

Box score from Seattle vs Tennessee game using these sliders in CFM

Sacks weren't too bad 2 for Titans & 4 for Seattle.

HFA I felt really kicked in for Seattle in the 2nd QTR of this game.

Each team only had 3 drops all were from contact hits in traffic. 40 catch seems to be the perfect base setting. Wilson hit Lockett on beautiful deep ball 52 yard TD pass in the 2nd QTR.

Comp % were very realistic Tannehill was 61% and Wilson was 65% with QBA at 90.

                    Titans were 3-13 (23%) on 3rd Down and Seahawks were 7-16 (43%)

Both teams ran well so I might have to increase tackling although I love how the running game just looks realistic when you watch it. The LB's are leading the teams in tackles and for the most part they are reacting accordingly and able to attack gaps without being suctioned.

Henry Fumbled once despite the tackle slider only being at 10. I think that play happened do to HFA boost for Seahawks when i watched it.

I still continue to scratch my head at times with the pass blocking. I had it at 0 for a few games and pass rush felt non-existent. Decided to move it to 10 and saw some better pressure. So I'm still puzzled as to which direction I want to go with Pass Block for CPU vs CPU.

This game only had 1 penalty called as opposed to a few flag fest I was seeing with 0 Blocking sliders...I'm Guessing something is forcing penalties to trigger more often when you 0 out the slider.

After tinkering with both I feel Hybrid is a better brand of football. I did move human WR catch to 45 and cpu pass block to 10.

Cool let me know how the pass blocking works at 10 in CFM

I'm always open to making adjustments if it helps out

Do u use eas default roster or custom and do you use live playbooks on or off? For the cpu vs cpu set

I used EA Default roster without Live Playbooks because I don't think Live Playbooks really kick in until the season actually starts

One more question so when u delete the profile and go back in u go go all madden in main menu then go to franchise and put it on pro or do u put it on pro in main menu after u select all madden in setup?
