Mcgibblets82 I haven't played with the playbooks yet because I don't think EA will have enough data until around week 4 for Live playbooks

Also, have you guys played the new NBA 2k?

Incredible game lot's of things that I wish Madden would add.

The Classic teams is all play in NBA 2K just an incredible time of the year to be a sports gamer.

Waiting on that new NHL as well....
I don't play any sports games besides MLB the Show and Madden. I used to like the NBA, but I just can't get into pro basketball anymore. Haven't really paid much attention to it in years. Just doesn't hold my attention like it did when I was younger.

Re: Playmakers Madden 22 NG Pro Level Sliders (User vs CPU & CPU vs CPU)

That last patch totally messed up qb's awareness. I tried your slider set and although i did like it i created my own on all madden difficulty because i felt the qbs were more aware and avoided more sacks on that difficulty. Since that patch however they do the do back glitch a decent amount now and they never seem to take off to run or throw the ball away. I consistently see 8-10 total sacks per game. And that's on my sliders and when i plugged yours back in it was the same thing. I have no idea y EA keeps doing this. I remember either last year or madden 20 they did the same. The qbs were throwing out of sacks and just getting rid of the ball very realistically to avoid sacks and i guess the competed crowd complained then ea patched and the qbs were dumb again. Sliders can't fix the amount of sacks being taken. It's Shane too because i have almost every other aspect of the game playing pretty well but those sacks are such an eye sore

I agree on sacks, it’s one of the things that makes me pull my hair out with this game…if sacks were more realistic this game would be much more fun.

[emoji817] agree with this I’m strictly a coach mode player and the only real issue I have is that it is impossible to get sacks right for the user in coach mode as inevitably at least a few times a game the Qb will hold the ball way too long and take unrealistic and needless sacks

He is copy and paste spamming everyone’s thread. The boy looking for clout [emoji23][emoji23]

Everyone does great work on Operation Sports. Check out everyone’s thread. No one is the best. We all have our own takes on sliders that fit different people’s preferences. One thing I won’t do is go on someone else’s thread begging for views .

                  Yeah The Show is awesome....

I just started back playing that series about a year ago....MY kids hog up the PS system so when it finally showed up on XBOX I jumped back into.

Honestly I don't do to much tweaking with the other sports games anymore because they aren't as frustrating as Madden is to me out of the box.

You should give this years 2K a shot it's pretty fun laid back game. In fact TBH it's allowed me to take a minor break from Madden slider testing because that game is addictive once you get started playing it.

I'll jump back on the sliders testing this weekend (it's always good to take a mental break from Madden LOL)

Are you doing cpu vs cpu on 2k? Never could find a set or make a set good enough for 2k. Man, that game has some sliders. Too many for me. default pro or whatever 2k calls it, one up from beginner, was as close as i could get it but i knew it could be better. I weak the fouls some. They never foul enough on there put of box.

Hey Tommy on 2K I play User vs CPU games....

But I only do Classic teams....

I Play with Real FG% option ON to allow players stats to dictate shooting as opposed to stick skills

I love that option for shooting.....Don't think I've ever tried 2K for CPU vs CPU gameplay.

I feel like I'm at that point where I need a little bit of a mental break from Madden. I keep seeing way too many sacks with your v2 set of cpu vs cpu sliders. So I started tweaking them a little bit, which just made the sacks worse lol. At one point, I ran a test between the Raiders and Ravens. Carr was sacked 13 times. So then I just kinda went back to the drawing board and made all kinds of drastic changes. I also tried some other sets in cpu vs cpu. But with all of them I'm seeing at least 10-12 sacks per game or more. So I think I'm going to take a little break for a couple days myself.

The reason I'm saying that I see too many sacks with your v2 set, is because when I play out a season with a single team, the stats end up getting skewed badly. The team I'm controlling will always lead the league in both sacks and sacks allowed. Overall the offense is usually #1 and the defense #32. The number of plays per game is fine though, so I don't believe it's a clock problem.

In an attempt to address this, I ran a test season and simmed every week. Then recorded the stats from the entire season for the entire league in a spreadsheet and got averages from the season for the most important stats. I.e. QB %, yards per carry, yards per passing attempt, sacks, interceptions, fumbles, etc.

The goal in my slider testing is to get the stats as close as possible to the sim results. In theory, the stats shouldn't skew as bad if I can accomplish this. The first step, in my opinion, is to try to get sacks as close as possible to the sim results. Which is appearing to be quite the impossible task. Everything else, aside from fumbles, has been pretty dang close to the sim results. Fumbles is another one that may be impossible to solve.

Test out the 1st version of the CPU vs CPU sliders that set keeps the sliders close to default and has the higher blocking sliders.

That might remedy the sack issue for you....

I know the lower blocking sliders cut down on suctioning with the 2nd set but if your biggest issue is sacks then version 1 might render different results.

I’m using the V1 set of sliders and I can say that you’ll see at least half of the sacks you’re seeing now. You’ll still see the same sacks as before because the QB will become brain dead and not move like he should, but other than that it’s a really solid set for CPU v CPU….

Re: Playmakers Madden 22 NG Pro Level Sliders (User vs CPU & CPU vs CPU)

I think the issue with the 2nd version of the CPU vs CPU sliders is that I have the Pass Coverage and tackle Slider a tad too high vs the lower pass Block slider.

Pass Coverage is effecting not only coverage but also pass rush and the tackle slider impacts defensive pursuit.

Going to lower tackle back down to 10 and tweak the pass coverage lower and see if that reduces the sacks in half for that set.

May have to lower the Fumble slider back down from 35 to 25 in order to compensate for the lower tackle slider.

I'll mess around with that approach for a few games and see if that helps tone down the sacks a little on version 2.
