I've used it sparingly in Madden (last year for NG I used threshold at 1)

NG is a little slower than Old Gen so the players aren't moving around like they are on crack at 0 threshold LOL

No user input so speed is huge..

I also love the way it helps fast DE's get off the snap quicker and WR's can really catch deep balls in stride.

I got to tweak the pass defense a little more but I think I'm on the right track.
on madden 21, i’m finding 50 for int, pass def react, and pass coverage works pretty well. again, 21 is a final game with all the patches and also last gen. ive played with these 3 sliders for a year now and i swear 50 is the best place. with ea rosters it’s hard to use 50 int because they overrate the dbs catch rating so much. i’m using a custom roster ive been working on or the current season.

like i said good to see 0 thresh working right again because i’d used that setting since 2006 or whenever they put this in the game.

I think it used to be a speed slider setting as opposed to threshold.

If memory serves me right they had slow, medium and fast speed back then....

I would imagine eventually on NG since they are using NG Stats they will go away from threshold completely.

Editing players on the base EA rosters I stay away from because I prefer to just spend the time and hours on the classic rosters instead.

BTW once you get the NG system as much as I still rip EA for their blunders I can promise you that going back to old Gen will be tough to do because the Player Movement on NG is headed in the right direction.

Well at least for me personally it's tough to play Madden 21 once you play Madden 22.

I think you'd love this version minus all the bugs and stuff of course. A lot of your testing for CPU vs CPU would pay huge dividends no doubt....

I just barely started on QB's but man this is the version we've finally been waiting on to create guys like Randall Cunningham and Steve Young.

Then in terms of RB's Jerome Bettis has never felt better in any previous Madden than he does in Madden 22.

I love the animation where the smaller defender goes low to take out the legs from under a runner (had that happen to Bettis last night).

Yo Playmakers! Some feedback for you --

I'm on last gen. I used your M20 CPUvCPU sliders and loved them.

I do CFM and watch most of the games, sim others. Anyways:

CPU v CPU Set 2 - just to get this out of the way, I kept seeing too many unrealistic plays and went back to Set 1. I just can't stand watching QBs backpedal for 15 yard sacks, or wacky INTs.

              CPU v CPU Set 1 -

              - Offense seems a little OP. I have some games go to like 42-42, and very rarely have teams score less than 20 points.

              - QBs scramble more than expected, and they're also more successful each scramble than expected - it seems to take defenders too long to decide to pursue or break a block and tackle. They end up getting 5-15 yard runs dependably and I've had some games where Russ Wilson will go like 11 for 100 running

              - Seeing too many anims where the ball carrier falls forward like 5 yards; it's that thing where they sorta twist and turn and stumble, but they're doing it often and even when x factor LBs make the hit

              - Seeing lots of good anims w/ QBs rolling out of the pocket and making a throw

              - Seeing lots of good cases where WRs break big plays as expected

              - I feel like I wanna see more flashy moves from RBs, seeing mostly them hunker down and just run into people, and then do that aforementioned stumble-forward-for-awhile anim

              Cheers, thanks

Liking what i hear from you on next gen. with madden the patches are so frustrating. im kind of liking this sticking to 21. i may not get 22 until 23 comes out. make it a new tradition.

21 is playing pretty tight in play now and cfm. of course im using a custom roster. main reason i did the roster was because i knew i wasnt gonna get 22 on release day and it gives me a quick visual reference guide when i’m picking players for Fan Duel and Draft Kings and it also gives me something to do with all that’s going on.

i rather do classic rosters, but the data can be so hard and cumbersome to find and sort thru. with modern rosters, there’s tons of info. I’ve read scouting reports for 95 percent of the players so they play more to tendencies and such.

                  Thanks for the feedback

Old Gen for some reason will have a little different gameplay using the same sliders as CG.

We tried this last year and Old Gen Madden didn't seem to mesh well....

Based your feedback it sounds the tackle slider and reaction slider might need to be increased a little to help slow down the mobile QB's.

The QB drop back thing for some reason seems like it's tied to old Gen because I very rarely see it on on NG.

I'm not sure if editing the QB's on Old Gen will solve that problem.

But I would suggest increasing just a little the Pass Reaction and tackle slider in order to cut down on the QB scramble yards plus the tackle slider will help to reduce the RB's falling forward all the time.

You don't want to nerf the running game though so don't go too high

Re: Playmakers Madden 22 NG Pro Level Sliders (User vs CPU & CPU vs CPU)

OK Fellas I think we are getting real close on the second version CPU vs CPU Sliders.....

This is the set that utilizes both Blocking Sliders at 0 to reduce suction. There was a huge change in QBA with this update and for the better IMO.

By all means this set is not perfect but I can assure you when you watch it in motion your going to be impressed.

Mobile CPU QB's will be dangerous and yes I know they will take off pretty frequently but hey compared to the brainless mobile QB's in years past I'll take this version all day every day.

I wouldn't increase tackling too much because that slider has to be balanced just right if you want to play with the 0 blocking sliders. Yes guys like Henry will look too dominant at times running through tacklers but again that stuff doesn't bother me as much because it will look realistic from an animation perspective.

Some games you'll get QB's throwing picks and it might seem like the INT slider is too high but then you'll notice some QB's won't throw any.

OL vs DL interaction at times will look beautiful when you see the edge rushers have more freedom to disengage from blockers....

One thing I would suggest is after each game you watch save your franchise then back out to the main menu and load the franchise again....I prefer this method to keep the sliders consistent.

                    UPDATED ON 09/04/21

These sliders are now either broken or my team is too good. I’m averaging 62 points a game with the Falcon. I’m using your CPU vs CPU sliders. But I am playing Coach Mode (picking plays and letting the CPU run them). The running game is dope though.

Coach Mode is where you select your play pre snap and the CPU executes it.
I’m playing with your CPU vs CPU sliders.

                                Ok

So technically your issue is even though it's coach mode your still getting the boost on pro level as user vs CPU game unles you play straight CPU vs cpu without user input

The sliders you should be using for coach mode are the 1st version or 2nd version of user games played
