Go to 10 minute quarters with no accelerated clock and turn on ball hawk. Not sure why this works but it calmed down the crazy amount of interceptions I was seeing.

So I’m playing these sliders on all pro, only bumped the User QB accuracy up to 10 and wow these are great. I’m having the games of my life. Some blowouts and some right down to the wire or into OT. As for the coaching adjustments I discovered that yes they say they are back default and I kept wondering what was going on. I noticed there’s a box describing what the adjustment you’re making does and it stays consistent with what you pick while the actual pick you scroll to “says default” I think they stay on what you set but the bug is on the slider portion of what you pick in adjustments and resets it back to “default” but only as a title. Your adjustments do not reset back. Is anyone else seeing that

I’m running Armors sliders exactly, except I took Playmakers recommendation on moving the comp reaction time to 75, thinking it would give me more of a challenge.

Examples of what I mean. This is after 3 drives. Yes they say default on the menu but in the box it’s still what I had set it on at the beginning of the game.

According to a user who did a test today. Franchise bug appears when you use custom classes or have cpu controlling teams (so coaches can be fired). Both test franchises crashed.

He did 32 team control (so coaches remained the same) and use default draft classes. No crash. Was still going in 2042.

If you want a long franchise, control all 32 teams and don’t download a draft class.


I’m playing as the Bengals in my franchise mode but I’ve added the other 31 coaches under my control but set everything to auto. They’ll draft and sign free agents just like a single player experience, I’m just playing the Bengals and letting the cpu sort the other teams out.

Only drawbacks are the cpu won’t trade, can’t use the score ticker and you can’t change the cpu uniform.

Wait…will this get patched? Otherwise why even use franchise mode

Just beat the Bears 52-6…my first full game. Will try another before my trial ends, but may be skipping this year if it’s another blowout lol.

No. They tunes and fixed that on 22 and progressive fatigue and CPU logic around weekly practice intensity was fixed.

I also checked it after halftime and miraculously they then had exactly what I was running in the black boxes. So I’m 99.9% sure it’s just a bug

I was highly enthusiastic about 22 at release and poured in over 100 hours between test games and franchise….and yes they really caved to online MUT whining and the game for my taste essentially changed a lot.

I am very hopeful that won’t be the case this Cycle because my gameplay approach and style is basically DOA on All-Pro and All-Madden. No switch is not possible anymore on the MUT default online setting which is All-Pro. And forget All-Madden lol.

On Pro we have discovered it is 100% on point to play with our strict no switch on defense and no user catch on offense.

You can still choose your catch type if you want on Pro but I am not steering the WR after the ball is released on Pro. And quite frankly, I have not had to choose catch types often at all.

You just gotta buy into the way I play
And the best way to know if this style is for you is to watch my streams.

We are thru 5 weeks of our franchise so far and every game has been great and has made a lot of sense.

Thanks for answering. I have been playing with your sliders for a couple of years, and following your threads, but every year it has seemed harder and harder to combat the online crowds whims.
If you have found a way to bypass, then I am very happy.

So after much thought I will flip on coach firing after Year 4. If I get 3-4 more years that is great. I typically go 6-7 years deep with Madden before I want to use a new team.
