What has changed?

First off input all the sliders into the main menu. Also make sure you set your skill level to All-Madden in the main menu (per Playmakers and Tommycoa) also make sure you shut off Ball Hawk and Heat Seeker.


Human Side Changes:

QB Accuracy to 5 (from 10)
Run Blocking to 1 (from 3)
Pass Defense Reaction to 8 (from 5)
Pass Coverage to 10 (from 32)
Tackling to 9 (from 40)

CPU Side Changes:

CPU Run Blocking to 95 (from 90)
Pass Defense Reaction to 65 (from 35)
Pass Coverage to 95 (from 90)
Tackling to 100 (from 80)

I know some people are crushing it on pro but im not seeing it. Im playing Week 1 after V2 came out and Tua struggled in QTR 1 and Mac Jones was on. Second QTR i used my playbook and readjusted to Jones and slowed him down. After throwing a "my fault" pick in the first with Tua i was on in the second and hit both the cheetah and the penquin for awesome back of the endzone foot draggers once i got my footing. You gotta use the playbook and no switch and dont be tempted to cheese. The game might be designed for MUT but we definitely got a real franchise game this year if you are playing the way Armor has laid out the sliders are enjoyable. Hes made pro organic and fun at least for me. I gave up on Franchise mode three years ago and started playing MUT. I always keep one eye on franchise and try out armors sliders. THIS YEAR on pro im having an absolute blast and im coming back to franchise! THIS IS FOOTBALL! Check out his MLB sliders too! Awesome!

in past games the all madden in main menu seemed to give the AI a boost on both sides of the ball, but the pro in cfm brought out the animations. when i did this, i deleted my profile and went from the intro and chose all madden in the intro. then i’d change it to pro in cfm. not sure if it has the same effect if you don’t do all madden in the initial setup. last year on old gen, this didn’t work like it did before.i havent tried it on xbox one yet. still havent upgraded systems.

Personal opinion here, 2.0 turned it back into an interception fest. Don’t know if it’s the setting to All-Madden (I think this is placebo) in main menu but the defense is jumping on everything and all pick-6s.

Also, I concur. The corrupt save is not caused by draft classes. Did a 10 year sim and it corrupted. No draft classes, however it was a roster file with CAPS.

Without being too critical though I think you may have nailed rushing. And, though I think passing accuracy is slightly too low (you see a big difference in QB accuracy tho!) it’s much better than v1 in that regards.

I play offense only and have P&A on (FYI if you don’t activate it with the L2 is uses classic except for bullets anyway).

I’m going to end up using a modified version of this and the CDCool/Orye74 for userD and cpuO since I sim/watch defense.

Also, I’m going to test some more but it seems that boosting injuries (45) does not add too many more injuries but seems to diversify them some. Got some RBs getting hurt. Tweaking the auto subs to 75/70 for RBs (like playmaker has) and WRs also gets some changes in.

Made some tweaks and played some more. Split the difference on v1 and v2 for User QBacc, and CPU coverage and react time. I loved pass coverage at 90. Just enough to get guys tailing the receiver without being able to jump the route. Some nice reach in front knockdowns on crossers. I’m done for the night but reaction time was a bit too low at 50. Gonna try 55 to get smaller gaps in zone coverage.

I also tried accuracy at 10 and it’s a bit too pin point still. I think if I put that back to 5 and get the right setting for reaction time the lower accuracy with coverage at 90 will lead to natural interceptions on bad throws.

I think I’m close to having something that works for me…until EA messes something up with a patch lol.

Playing with Carson Wentz on the new slider was pretty difficult. Most shorter bullet passes went well wide. It was still fun but i was very surprised how different QB accuracy was for a 5 point reduction.

Same with FG accuracy. I thought the suggested setting was too easy so i moved it down 5. Kicking with Joey Sly (70 rating i think), he went from hitting 50+ yard field goals to looking like a defensive lineman kicking. I hit a perfect kick on a simple extra point and it went out of bounds on the sideline before it got to the endzone pylon. Never seen a kick that wide.

These sliders are sensitive. It is almost like it is unnoticeable for long stretches (50 to 34) and then dramatic (34 to 29).

Great to see you back for '23 Armor!!






I been using these new pro sliders for 4 games now, I'm definitely blowing the CPU out too much. It sucks that on All-Pro I through 6-8 INT's a game and basically am scared to throw it. And on PRO I blow out the CPU so easily throwing TD's left and right. Man, if I could just find that middle ground that would make this game just perfect. Maybe that middle ground is ALL-PRO and I just need to really decrease sliders and take my confidence from PRO over to ALL-PRO.... lol.


Regardless, the game does play smooth. I love the responsiveness and the animations. It's been hella fun. And unlike last year, where the game was ruined for me by waiting forever for the scouting update, this year it is refreshing to just get going right away.
