Is it me or does the QB look too far back in the shotgun? Also the HB looks to be too far away from the QB.

You won't be seeing Derrville posting in the Madden Forums for the next month. He's today's first but likely won't be the last. Everyone keep their heads screwed on right please.

My only gripes at this point in time are:

Still seems that there will be many sacks due to the pocket not forming as it should. Especially when the Eagles are on offense. (I don't know these two teams that well, so if the Cowboys D are supposed to dominate then sorry for making this point)
Hammond sucks, but overall the commentary is better than last year.
The no. 11 on Williams shoulder pads are way too small compared to Barbers shoulder pad numbers.
The running animation is still a bit off.

Overall I'm really impressed, I think that Madden 10 will be the best Madden yet and I can't wait to play it. And neither can I wait to see the latest version as Ian mentioned that this video looks outdated compared to how things look now.

Erm i haven't read through all 50 odd pages but did anyone else notice the free man at 1:36 who just ran past McnNabb, was there before the guy who sacked and just wondered off.

Edit just saw that guy was human controlled which explains a lot. Love the blocking, esp the block on ware at 0:52, where he gets steered away. Have to say its looking good, but i hope that with this new pro tak system i can actaully dominate with an elite DL, i want be able to swin and rip quickly. 09 it was near impossible to get off the man and then when you got into a spin move the animation was canned so it took ages to get through, then of course robo QB knew you were coming

I know I blasted the video for the lackluster pre-game show, but luckily, it's something that can be improved if Ian and the crew are aware that it's lackluster.

And the improvements don't include "adding hotdog venders". I could care less if I see a fatty downing a hot-dog before the game. The #1 thing lacking in the pre-game show was elevated crowd noise, and elevated commentator voice. The stadium should be brimming with excitement. That's one thing 2k did perfectly to simulate the significance of each game and one thing that is completely missing in M10.

Still though, it's probably too late to fix, so I guess I'm just glad they have a pre-game show. Hopefully the "Extra Point" is enough to get me over this slight disappointment.

Looking forward to E3.

Where did you see a pre-game show? Dude they edited the ish out of that video, we haven't seen everything that needs to be seen as far as pre-game presentation. So I'd take this video for what it is, an early look at gameplay. It's not the final product.

This is the last time I'm going to say this today....

I don't think the problem is with hammonds voice........its just the tone. I would'nt mind the announcers if they had different pitches for big plays and game winners, but it is annoying to have no emotion and pitch levels in the game.

I can't see how you can call the pre game show lackluster when IGN clearly skipped through it..

Anyways, Ian has already said that the crowd noise was broken in that build and that it was fixed (the vid was made 2 weeks ago).

Simply put, the problem is HAMMOND period! I was willing to give the guy one more year to prove me wrong, but from what I've heard in that video, he still sounds bored and emotionless.
