I think it was June too, but Madden 10 has not gone gold yet. If it did, it would have already been announced to the public and Ian himself.

Ian saw your first video and commented on that awhile ago, I guess he figured that it would be pointless, but the reason why he started that thread was because a lot of BB fans were calling him out. I knew it would turn out the way it did.

Are you looking for some type of acknowledgment from Ian or a developer?

There are many times he doesn't acknowledge Apex's videos. I know he acknowledged Apex earlier in the 10 cycle, but I don't think so much lately.

The guy is human, he's probably putting in more than 12 hr days and has a family life at home as well, excuses or not, that's the situation.

Ok I think Ian gets it by now that Madden isn't perfect, do we have to make topic after topic bashing the game, Madden needs work but i guarntee if you analyzed video footage of other videogames you could point out flaws in them too.

I know madden needs work and these videos help, but some of the people post such hateful and undmindful things and it seems that the entire forum is filled with these sorts of posts.

OMG why do I keep coming back for more lol. How can I easily put this. My first problem with this thread is thats its a old topic for one. One that apex and a million others already have created. We and Ian understan 09 had problems. Well now that 10 is coming and things are looking better, why the need to go back and address the problems of 09?

Does this have anything to do with Madden 10........NO. What is this video proving exactly? We already know about 09 so what was your rationalization in making this post? What is this proving exactly that we dont already know?

All these people coming in here and saying "yeah oh that video is right on" ect.... wait until you play madden 10 then come back and state how you feel. How are you gonna judge Madden 10's blocking due to watching a 09 video???

We are not Madden defenders, ea fanboys , ect.... we simply do not see the help in posting " Madden is garbage", " another year of the same game" " madden 10 is just like 09,08,07,06" We all want a great game and we can see and APPRECIATE the strides and changes Ian & Co. has made. Are there things I dont care for in Madden 10? sure there is but what good is me saying " The running animations are terrible, madden is still the same as 09) gonna do for the game. Instead I will put my thoughts on Running animations/ect... in a wishlist thread or in a post to help them get it to where it needs to be.

Some of the hate post on here do nothing to help further the future maddens along. And thats what gets me heated and respond to these pointless threads.

He didn't really violate the terms of service although he did start the BB forums invasion of OS. Also, he was about to post in the other thread before it was locked. We'll find out when people get the demo in about 7 days. It'll be dissected to the bone.

I don't believe there is anything wrong with the videos, for the most part apex and moody make valid observations and sometimes not. It's the posts discussing the videos that disgust me, many of the posts are childish and are just attacks on the developers imo. Why can't we see mature, fair, complaints and negativity without all these immature attacks. It makes me sick seeing all this negative posts, many of them where people act like they know the ins and outs of game programming when in reality they are completely clueless.

I love APF 2K8 and have ran many leagues and have been in many. I have played 1,000's of games in APF 2K8 so I believe I am an expert when it comes to APF.

I give Madden a shot every year and this year seems more promising than the past because of the overhaul of the Madden team. I will be buying Madden 10 just so you all know.

I have to say this....

APF 2K8 has the same kind of blocking issues that Madden has in the 1st video you guys posted. It does happen. I have had many times where my FB leaves D-Line and LB's a free pass right to my RB. I have had Gold O-Lineman run right past a defender and go straight to the Safety and pass right by 1-3 defenders.

I do not know about the Run blocking in Madden as much as others because last year I couldn't even stomach a full game before I took it back.

I am not saying Madden 10 will be right.

I am not saying that APF is broke.

I am saying that I have seen it happen in APF just the same.

I am all for constructive criticism but we must learn when enough is enough also. Im just saying Im sure everyone knows about this topic as seeing it was addressed in Madden 2010. WHy the need to bring it up like its a problem again? If it ends up being a problem in Madden 10 I can fully understand the need of a video showing whats wrong.

IMO it just seems like people are coming here and creating new accounts to beat up on madden for some reason. I still feel there is an agenda to it but whatever. But it seems like there is a big amount of mainly newier users trying to bring these boards down with all this madden haterism and BB/2k lovefest.

This is not at the OP but some in here obviously do not care about madden and dont plan on buying madden so why keep spamming the Madden forumes? Get over it! Go post in your games forumes about how much you hate madden cause us madden fans dont wanna hear it.

i played apf too and yes missed blocks does happen but its usually one person that miss it. in the madden you the WR, TE, and FB do nothin and that dont happen in APF and most of the time when i play if a player miss a block because i was trying to sprint to fast cause we both know those generic have very little foot speed.

i love to run in APF and my RB average 15 carries and 93 yards during my career in APF online. man those was the days, great football

Ian made a thread about a topic being locked and proceeded to carry on a conversation in it. Meanwhile this thread, which addresses and debates much larger issues, on a much more grand scale has lacked any comment from him. Despite the fact this thread was around before and eventually outlasted his. Take that for what its worth.

When people create threads/vids and then say things similar to what I bolded above, it gives the impression that the OP/videographer wants attention from the devs more than anything. Many of us have been guilty of this at some point, but I always cringe when it comes to these statements. It's almost to say, "To hell with the Madden fans commenting and feedback, Ian where are you!?! Look at me!" So what if a developer doesn't acknowledge your thread...though you're pointing to valid issues, I don't think it's something that hasn't been discussed before. Maybe not with such pertinent examples, but it all falls under the Madden-flawed-gameplay umbrella in my opinion which has been discussed at great length the past few years. This thread is not all that unique in that aspect.

well if its new to Madden then that makes it new. Just because some people have played 2k and saw those things in 2k doesnt mean that everyone that has bought Madden before knows they are not new to video games. Do you want them to say, "gang tackling, just like NFL 2k5 had?"

No, but gang tackling was in 2k3 and at the very least NFL2k4. So, gang tackling been in football games for the last 7 years. Just hard for me to get excited for a feature that should been in a the game for the last 8 years.

No other football game has had more than 2 man tackling. (3 if you want to go into semantics).

Madden 10 allows for up to 9 player interaction. No football game has ever had that.

So yeah, trebling the amount of players interacting at a time is significant.....
