    Agree with you on number 2. It seems that the AI is always throwing into double and triple coverage which a real NFL QB would now do alot of.

    A side from that. As many has mention and it is still present in the final version. The human pass rush is still somewhat weak. It seems you have to take control of the player just to see any pressure. Which to me is BS. The AI on the human team have to Genarate pressure aswell. I play as the panthers. In less I take control of Peppers. The Ai never gets pressure with him. And peppers is one of best DE in league currently.

    Another thing that is apart of the sacking the QB problem is that the AI seems to have eyes in the back of his head on his blind side when it comes to pass rush. The lgic need to be adjust slightly. I don't want to see Ian dumb down the Ai to make us happy. I just don't want to see a QB make a unreal throw when my pass rush comes from the blind side. What needs to be done is tone down the AI getting rid of the ball every freaking time and the human pass rush needs to be slightly adjust to be a little more quick.

    This was also a mention of to many wounded ducks. I agree that is to over done. I know some of these 2k5 fans are going to say they love it. But in all reality you don't see a tone of wounded ducks in the NFL. It needs to be toned down a little bit.

    And the oline for the human team could use a little more tweaking. But over all I see that the AI throwing the ball way to qucik and not taking hardly and sacks needs a little tweeking and the Human pass rush needs tweaking just a little.

    Also I saw some people say the AI needs to be tweaked on know what routes we run. That does need a little tweaking aswell. The AI just knows to much. It is so lame.

      1. MORE REPLAYS-Add the Replay Frequency Slider that was supposed to be in the game. Often/Sometimes/Never. IMO there should be replays for:
      -every TD
      -every turnover
      -every first down
      -all penalties except offsides and false start
      -every injury
      -And the replays should be complete full length replays, not starting halfway through and not finishing as soon as the ball hits the goal line.

      2. Franchise-same old Trading logic...none. The CPU teams put guys on the block at the beginning of the year and they just sit there all year long, unless I, the User, initiate Trades. That sucks really bad.

      3. Ability to get pressure on QB using the right stick. Frustrating.

      4. CPU running out of bounds when there are yards to be gained

      5. Shoestring tackle animation way too frequent-calm it down

      6. Add Broadcast camera for gameplay

      7. There is ZERO time to line up for FG and Extra Point blocks...bad

      8. Show the correct players in the post play cut scenes

      9. There will be a TD and the KICKER gets all the love on the sideline after he kicks the friggin' extra point

      10. Capability to have my scouting done by the CPU...I'm not seeing that choice anywhere and I don't want to scout. Am I missing this option for auto scouting??

      OK...good enough.

      Now, having listed these things out ONLY BECAUSE WE HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE SOME PATCH FIXES, I must say I LOVE THIS GAME. The best Madden yet. My 2 biggest disappointments at this moment are the replay situations and the Franchise Trade activity (or lack thereof).

      But, this game is alot of fun and I'll be playing it for a long time, I believe. A couple key patch ingredients would be icing on the proverbial cake.

      Thanks for the opportunity to make the wish list for patch.

          When a player goes out of bounds with the football the clock is only stopped during the final two minutes of each half in the NFL. Recent rule change to speed up the game.

            Oooooh, remembered some more in my sleep.

            1. At halftime when the list the other scores of the day, one of the read: 42-27... 2nd Qtr????
            Not sure of they were updating a preschool flag football game but it seemed excessive.

            2. Too many over the shoulder catches, nice animation but it's being saturated to the point that it's annoying now.

            3. Dbacks running the routes before the WR they're covering... it's completely nonsensical... i get what you tried to do to make man coverage better but there needs to be varying levels of lag on the man coverage (Asomugha is a step behind, Macdonald is 5 feet behind) but at no point should the CB be able to cut before the WR no matter what the WR or CB's ratings are!!!!!!!!!!!!!

            4. Something explaining how to pass rush- as usual the madden manual is as detailed as a drawing but my 4 year old niece- which direction does what on the right stick?!?! They all seem to do a spin for me.

              Is there anything that can be done about who you switch to on defense in the middle of a play. Madden has the same problem NCAA has with this. It seems like most of the time the first guy they switch the user to is the wrong guy. Hes either A) Way out of position to even be a factor in the play, B) There is someone who can make a play but it switches to a player downfield who usually gets moved out of postiton becasue switching to the other guy is expected (partly my fault for thinking I would switch to a guy in better position for the tackle). It just never seems like the most logical guy gets chosen to stop a play.

                fix the qb/WR dive/slide takes way too long to get into the animation, when your half-way in it u can be pulled up out of it, I guess its cause of Pro-tak

                  In addition to fixing the RB ypc and rushing touchdowns, the amount of carries the QB's and FB's get needs to be lowered. I always seem to get around 45-50 carries for each of them. When in reality they shouldn't have more than 25-30 carries combined. That's 70 or so carries a year that should be going to my 2 backs. This is a big part of the reason only 2 or 3 teams a year rush for 2000 yds. when last year 9 teams had 2000+ yds. The last season I simulated had 11 teams with more than 1500 rushing yards, last year in the NFL 29 teams had 1500+ rushing yards.

                  Mediocre TE's catch way too many passes in simmed games. My 82 TE shouldn't catch 20 more balls a year than my 89 #2 WR.

                  Defensive stats need to be tuned as well for reasons already mentioned in this thread.

                  The run/pass slider should be moveable in increments of 1.

                  Let us select what playbook our team uses in the coaching scheme. I fired Tom Cable after year one with the Raiders, yet his is the playbook that it defaults to everytime I load a game. I'm assuming the playbook still affects sim stats heavily.

                  Where can we see assistant coach ratings in the staffing screen? All I can see is what bonuses they give you, no ratings to speak of. Subsequently my coaching was 0/3 bars during the loading screen for 3 years straight, while my HC Z. Thomas was a 100 overall. Now as soon as I hired NE Coach I all of a sudden have 3/3 bars for coaching, while he is the same rating as my old coach.

                  Can't sign Undrafted Free Agents.

                  Scrubs ask for ridiculous contracts if I try to fill my roster, yet if I let the CPU do it. They sign for the minimum.

                      1. Need more sacks from the linebackers!!! 2. Way too many deflected passes caught, please address this. Its very unrealistic to see this once a game, sometimes even twice. Secondary ai...3. I've seen too many dbs simply watch balls fly past their head and do absolutely nothing. This leads too many unrealistic catches in heavy traffic. 4. Please stop the clock when you go out of bounds under two minutes, please... Just wanna so great game guys, really enjoying it. No glaring issues, these all seem to be pretty fixable. If so, this game would be one to behold.thx guys.

                        Note: If it hasn't been said, the real problem with the computer wanting to throw the ball away instead of taking the sack is that it leads to many pick 6 plays and fumbles because they are in the throwing motion. I have been averaging 3 or 4 turnovers a game and 1 or two defensive TDs per game.

                        Throwing to the flats is easy as pie.

                        Lastly, I don't care what Josh Looman wrote or what Ian said, the computer doesn't run the football and when they do, they run it poorly. I have been playing 15min quarters with 15run off and the computer runs about 14 times a game and for under 50 yards a game. I have had a few games already where the computer had all of 5-15yrds in a game rushing and just threw the ball 40+ times for 400 yards-ish. The 49ers aren't a great pass defense team, but when you throw 40 times it isn't hard to get that many yards. I average 120 to 130 plays per game in total and are all very much the same. Teams will play like they do in real life my butt.

                          QB's with low AWARENESS should be sacked more often rather than getting rid of the ball right before you can sack him... to a degree of course.


                          Rookie's are demanding too much and not worth keeping on your roster it seems like.

                            I think they have to do something about the progression in franchise mode. I dont want to have a horrible season with my rookie running back and still watch him jump up 6 points. He should probably progress a little jus to show that he is getting better after his rookie year but 1 to 2 points not 6. Too many of the rookies become good to fast because almost everyone jumps 6 points. I want him to progress because of his stats not jus for the hell of it.

                              I haven't tested this for sure, but I am not sure the AI teams perform trades between each other. The trade block appears to be working great but it makes me feel cheap to trade if the other teams do not.

                              Anyone had any luck seeing this? Just one trade will satisfy me!
