Re: Madden NFL 10 Patch #1 Available, Post Impressions Here
I have a pre-existing franchise, and loaded it up to play the week 1 game between the Bills and Pats. They automatically put the AFL uniforms and logos at the Franchise screen which is cool.
The only problem is that the game froze in the 1st quarter while I was looking at a replay. Not cool.Twitter: @Palo50

Keep in mind all of my comments were observations from practice mode, all-madden and I don't mess with sliders.Comment

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Anyone notice a difference in hook zone, LB zone recognition/responsivness on routes over the middle?
Was that addressed at all, is that coming in a 2nd patch? or do we just have to hold our nose and tolerate it for this year.Comment

Actually CB made a good point that I forgot to mention-fatigue. DEFINITELY more noticeable.
Also, I've gotten more separation on some deep balls. I thought it was placebo at first, but I suppose this is likely due to the WR release issue that was fixed...which until I saw LBzrule mention it, I forgot it was in the patch! Should definitely add a better risk/reward to press coverages (which might have been too effective prior to the patch).Comment

None that I've noticed. LBs still seem to have plenty of brain-dead moments in coverage overall, I'm afraid.Comment

my replays still randomly cut...i dont know why? maybe you guys know something I dont? I went after my game against the 9ers with the Bengals, and went to save a sweeeeeet playaction pass to Ocho in the endzone. Nope got cut after the ball was almost to Ocho's hands...i was hopin that'd be fixed...no biggie was just hopin thoNCAA BBALL10 PS3

The reason I ask is because supersimming is a way of getting accurate franchise stats until the patch comes out, but unforunately the stats become a little outrageous due to the game being offensive oriented.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Hopefully in the 2nd patch. Still dropping deep in their hook zones as of now.Comment

yeah me neither, but i let the patch download while i was in the shower this morning...came out and saw redskins vs ravens, and was like "wtf is on the ravens helmets?" so i thought maybe something was up with my disk or something, so i cleaned it...but when i saw the guy who posted bout the pats, i was like....dang. so i figured id toss out what i saw too...NCAA BBALL10 PS3
