I'm probably going to cave; I play FIFA and getting the NHL this year too (Bruins baby!). Helps that I am playing in a online league that has a points reward for the top two winners, so maybe I can freeroll the damn thing with the extra practice.

I just pre-ordered Madden and purchased the pass! I am all set for some weekend fun before school starts up again. I was originally just going to wait, but what the heck, I had the money and just figured I would go for it.

As much of a money grab as it is I don't blame you guys. 25 bucks isn't a big deal to most. I would like to pplay the full version of NHL and FIFA since I probally wont get the games. Too may games, not enough time in my case.

If I didn't have such a busy weekend I might cave myself. I'm more of a weeknight kind of guy. Looking forward to the early impressions you guys will have.

I also liked the fact that you can try out 4 other games. I might end up getting NHL 12 or the new FIFA. I have taken a couple of years off from both of them.

I live in the pacific time zone...being 3 hours earlier, does that mean I can start the download at 3pm? Or will we have to wait 3 hours beyond those in the eastern zone?

NHL 12 is a must buy for me this year and madden is on the fence for me. Never played fifa as I hate soccer, but I know it's an incredible game from what everyone says.

I pulled the trigger last night and am really pumped to get it downloading Friday night. Madden early plus pre-paying for rentals of some other games I would want to play anyway, before they're released so I can still pre-order them for $ back on Amazon if I want to buy. Seems like a fair deal to me.

Yeah NCAA 13 being the best one of the 4, also the possibility of Madden 13 too depending on when it's released next year since it's a 365 day subscription.

I think that it will unlock at 6 pm in every time zone. So I just think you will have to wait until then. From all of the tweets and things like that, it still seems the release time is up in the air

I think it is something that EA will eventually do, that is making Madden 13 part of the subscription plan. If enough customers of the program bring it up as an issue, I think they would eventually do it.

I also thought this was a horrible evil idea originally but I just caved and bought it!

Only thing is I don't think I'll be able to get NCAA 13 as it is region locked for xbox ( in UK). I normally get it for ps3 but after this years inferior version I'm getting all ea games for xbox now.

It says 6EST, that means 3 Pacific. When it's released for one, it will be released for all. It won't be a "phased" release. Same with the cut off. It will be cut off at 6am EST and 3am PST.
