Being outspoken is key. If you look at NCAA last year, those fans were loud and ended up getting it put in. Though their fan base is much more narrow than Maddens..


Edit: it was patched in NCAA, idk if it was scrapped for Madden

And look what happened when they patched it in in NCAA 12. It broke several things.

I bet this is done for the simple fact that we will have to buy the game each year for up to date rosters. It has to be something more than just "we ran out of time." Whatever the case, I'll be buying NCAA 13 this year and editing every player to a tee for each teams roster. While the rest of the suckers that buy Madden will be stuck wondering why they got suckerd into buying the game in the first place. If anyone is interested, I'll be making NCAA rosters for PS3 this year starting June 10th. This will be the first year I do it. I did not share it since I basically edited Luvtotha9s roster. This year I'll be starting from scratch with a great, great eye for attention to detail. I'll be posting more and updates in the NCAA 13 roster forums here on OS. Stay Posted!

Don't count on it this year. I don't think they'll cave to the pressure like with the start pad.

I highly doubt they can "patch" this in. Too much coding is involved and the file size would be way beyond the patch size limit.

Don't count on it this year. I don't think they'll cave to the pressure like with the start pad.

Madden moved around the scoreboard and honestly all we want is for them to feel our wrath and then they will either do it... Or show us how it is too much coding for it

I honestly can't think this would be too difficult to implement given a month or so, but then again I'm no programmer. I'm fairly disappointed, but it cannot even dent my excitement for the game.

This is freaking stupid. I don't want a stupid fake twitter feature in CC that is all filled with usernames that are EA related. That's another thing quit putting EA on everything!

I play this game for Franchise mode... with that said, the new XP feature is more than enough to make up for editing players, etc. Once you get into season 3 or 4 you start looking past 'real players' anyway.

Just my 2-Cents though.

I agree regarding editing and real players, but numbers and equipment at least for me, will always bothers...

Numbers and equipment are my big issues too. I can live without ratings, but I can't live with signing a veteran and not being able to give him his number. I can't live with the big retired numbers being used.

It has become more and more evident that CC is an online first mode as very little consideration has been given to the offline gamers.

And I'm not buying the not enough time excuse they've blatantly sacrificed consumer functionality for scripted storylines and events that would most likely be broken if we we're to edit our own roster or create our own rookies in mass

See that's going overboard on the scripted storylines. I think we can all agree that Phil and Jim are upgrades over Chris & Gus, and we all wanted the game, and the commentary team(no matter who it was) to recognize what was going on in Franchise Mode. Current Season records, injuries, who can make the playoffs, who's in contention for a playoff spot, and what happens in Free Agency and the draft. The way it currently was that you could cut Peyton from the Colts and the game wouldn't recognize it and wouldn't know that he was on the Broncos. They wouldn't know that some rookie QB is taking over for Peyton.

THAT was what we wanted when we asked for story lines. All we wanted was for them to put something in so that commentary recognizes what is going on in your Franchise, we didn't want it so that it was so scripted that even editing rosters would throw it all off!

EA over did the whole storyline addition. If we can't edit rosters because it will break the storyline in CC then that makes CC even more useless. All we wanted was it for the game to track what was going on at all points, not this scripted to a tee stuff.
