I miss Ian....Say what you want abt him..but im a 100% sure he wouldnt approve of this mode being n the game without these things!...and if he did, he would have ALREADY been on THESE boards giving us a detailed explanation on why they werent included....

If we have to rely on the roster updates that Donny Moore does, then I am holding out hope that he does indeed revamp his updating and possibly gets it 99.99% correct when the season starts. It may take another year, but in the end, I do believe that CC will be an amazing game mode.

i couldn't care less what Donny does in his updates. That doesn't prevent if, lets say hypothetically, i trade OchoCinco to a team that has a #85 and they change Chad's number to #87 when in real life we know he'd pay to keep #85. If Matt Forte decides to wear a new facemask i can't change it.

It makes 0 sense to take away control from the users when games these days are giving users more and more control. EA seems to go in the opposite direction.

Wait...the same guy that made Madden 11's biggest feature GameFlow & a worsened Locomotion than previous ones. The same guy that immediately abandoned Pro-Tak & The Extra Point after telling us they would work on them on the next Maddens. The same guy that told us the football size & progressive lighting couldn't be done and originally told us real time physics among other things were too hard to implement in Madden...I would have to totally disagree with you there sir.

Yep..he is also the same guy who actually had a functional franchise mode during his tenure...and with all those things you said, not ONE of them was as big of a deal-breaker as THIS is for ppl...Never once..do i recall do i remember even the actual owner of these boards have to make a PSA announcement concerning a issue..stating what can actually be a dealbreaker for ppl with NONE of those things you pointed out...so yeah i feel this "little" thing beats out those by MILES...

You can have all this great new things in, thats fine Madden 13 will prob actually be a better playing game than 12..but when you TAKE out the meat n potatos of what makes a mode such as Franchise so important..which is playing and controlling EVERY/or almost aspect of your team or others as you see fit..then yes..i tend to miss the guy..who knew not to F that one thing up. )

I'm surprised at how many people view it as a deal breaker. The controlling multiple teams I think I understand more than the others. I think it's showing that a lot of people couldn't care less about actual gameplay which I've always thought was viewed as the number one issue. And while that franchise may have been fully functional, up until last year, franchise was absolutely atrocious.

editing, especially the base roster you take into CC, has a huge impact on gameplay.

I feel confident that EA wouldn't remove features from Madden & NCAA if they had competition.

Between EA removing edited rosters and custom playbooks from Madden, I now plan on renting the game. Those are two HUGE issues for me.

How am i trolling...its my opinion, i miss the guy who had interaction with the community and not give us vague answers or having to go and find out ish by twitter...he would actually come HERE and give us the lowdown on whats going on...i miss that ╮( ╯_╰ )╭ ...my bad tho, just my opinion, im sure Loomans brilliant direction will peak through...one day, i do believe Mike Young is the right guy...

I understand this sucks for some people, but I have yet to read anywhere that says it'll never come back. Some people are acting as if they just had their johnson removed, never to see it again.

Personally, it's enough to let Looman and Co. know that this is a big enough deal that we want it back ASAP. But it's pretty comical how bent some people get over this. I thought we were all grown men here!

Tell Looman this sucks and make your voice heard, then enjoy Madden 13 for what it is. Enjoy the new physics and the ability to play online with buddies in a more fleshed-out online league with the knowledge you'll get this stuff in Madden 14. Stress will shave years off your lives, gentlemen.

I was 50%- 50% on purchasing the game thanks to the inability to edit during CC. I am now 100% sure that I will save $60. At least the NHL people are not this obtuse.

So we can agree that competition really plays no factor in what gets removed then right?
